Straight Up (Sebastian Morera)
Arizona had a hot start to the year, picking up back-to-back wins over the 49ers and the Washington Football Team. However, Kyler Murray and the Cardinals sputtered this past weekend against the Lions. Murray threw 3 interceptions on the day, which culminated in the Cards first loss of the season 26-23. Now Murray looks to bounce back against the 1-2 Carolina Panthers.
Carolina picked up their first win of the season this past Sunday 21-16 over the Chargers. The Panthers were the underdog but managed to get the win over rookie QB Justin Herbert.
Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)
The Arizona Cardinals would be undefeated if not for a last-second FG by the Lions’ Matt Prater in Week 3. Arizona’s spunky team will learn from their mistakes, rebounding in Week 4’s NFC matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
Cardinals QB Kyler Murray clearly has “it”, and the addition of all-world WR DeAndre Hopkins has been exceptional for Arizona. The Cards hope to make some postseason noise before future Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald hangs up his cleats. Fitzgerald has been quieter than usual this season, but he can pop off at any moment. The Cardinals are currently averaging 406 yards of offense per game.
The Arizona defense has also been solid, allowing just over 20 points per game. The Cardinals have the luxury of facing a Carolina offense that’s without superstar RB Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers are making do, and scratched out a tough 21-16 win vs the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, but it was mainly on the strength of their defense. Carolina forced four turnovers while giving up zero, and are unlikely to repeat that performance against the Cards’ stacked deck. Arizona wins and covers.

Over/Under (Zack Robinson)
The Arizona Cardinals have one of the most explosive offensive units in the league. DeAndre Hopkins has been sensational and QB Kyler Murray still has a lot to learn, but he’s on the right path.
They average 25.7 points per game and the total has gone over in 8 of their last 9 games against an opponent from the NFC South.
Surprisingly enough, the Carolina Panthers won their first game of the season without Christian McCaffrey.
They average 22.7 points per game, but their defense has been better than expected. The total has gone over in 5 of Carolina’s last 6 games against the Cardinals.
Go over in a close one.
