Straight Up (Sebastian Morera)
The Cardinals are 3-2 this season. They kicked things off with back-to-back wins that had them looking like a top team in the NFC. However, their 26-23 loss to the Lions and 31-21 loss to the Panthers countered that position. And although they managed to bounce back against the Jets in Week 5, they still have a ton of improvements to make. But will they be able to topple the Dak Prescott-less Dallas Cowboys? Considering how terrible the Cowboys’ defense has been this season, I’m taking the Cards in this one.
Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)
If the pattern of wins and losses for the Arizona Cardinals (3-2) this season holds up, the red birds will win their Week 6 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys (2-3). Arizona won its first two games, lost the next two, and most recently beat the Jets. The Cardinals are favored by 1½ points vs. a different-look Dallas team.
QB Andy Dalton has taken over since Dak Prescott’s ankle tragedy, and he projects to do reasonably well with the Dallas offense. However, the Cowgirls are 0-5 ATS this season, and that was with Prescott firing that canon of his quite effectively. Dalton is a downgrade no matter how you slice it, and the Dallas morale is no doubt deflated a bit.
The Cowboys defense gives up the most points per game in the NFL (36 PPG). Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins will have a lot of fun with the Dallas secondary, and may even set some records this coming Monday. The Cardinals should win by 10 points or so.

Over/Under (Zack Robinson)
Andy Dalton’s first game as the Dallas Cowboys starting QB will be under all the Monday Night Football reflectors.
The Cowboys average 32.6 points per game and Dalton should be able to maintain the rhythm thanks to a solid receiver corps and one of the best RB’s in the league.
The total has gone over in four of Dallas’ last five games.
Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals average 25.6 points per game. With DeAndre Hopkins on one side and Larry Fitzgerald on the other it should be more.
The problem for the Cardinals is their running game. Kenyan Drake hasn’t been what they expected.
Chandler Jones is out for the season due to injury.
The total has gone under in four of Arizona’s last five games. Go over in a back and forth game.
