Straight Up (Sebastian Morera)

The Falcons remain winless so far in 2020. They had a chance to pick up a win in Week 5 against their NFC South rivals, the Carolina Panthers. Instead, Atlanta came up short 23-16 to fall to 0-5. Now they get to face off against the Vikings, a team that’s looking a lot better the last two weeks. After all, Minnesota beat Houston 31-23 before nearly upsetting the Seattle Seahawks on the road.

So accounting for Minnesota’s recent resurgence, as well as how pitiful the Falcons have been this season, we can fully expect the Vikings to pick up their second win of the season in Week 6.

Over/Under (Zack Robinson)

HC Dan Quinn is gone, but the Atlanta Falcons’ problems are not. They remain winless and Julio Jones remains questionable.

RB Todd Gurley comes from his best game of the season with two rushing touchdowns and he’s tied in third place with 375 total rushing yards. Matt Ryan needs to trust more in Gurley.

The Falcons average 24.4 points per game and the total has gone over in four of Atlanta’s last six games.

The Minnesota Vikings own one of the best running backs in the league. Dalvin Cook leads the league in both rushing yards (489) and touchdowns (7). However, he is on the injury report following a groin injury and could miss this one.

WR Adam Thielen is regaining confidence and QB Kirk Cousins found some new weapons, especially in rookie WR Justin Jefferson.

The Vikings average 26.4 points per game and the total has gone over in six of Minnesota’s last nine games. Go over in a back and forth game.
