After living in Buffalo for 14+ years, I’ve become adept at sniffing out the Bills’ trap games. This matchup with the 49ers (in the same stadium where DeAndre Hopkins stabbed the Bills in the heart in Week 10) reeks of an upset. San Francisco is getting RB Raheem Mostert and WRs Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk back. The Niners’ defensive system can surely give Bills’ QB Josh Allen headaches. Allen has not been especially sharp over the last couple of weeks. At 5-6, San Francisco is one game out of the wild card, and they will fight like rabid dogs. The Bills are favored by three points, but I’m picturing a Niners smackdown to level them out at .500. 49ers 30, Bills 20
Over/Under (Zack Robinson)
Josh Allen is receiving more help from the Buffalo Bills’ backfield, which means now the Bills are a more dangerous team. With Allen, RB Devin Singletary and WR Stefon Diggs in very good shape, Buffalo can beat any defense.
The Bills average 27.2 points per game and the total has gone over in four of their last five games on the road.
Nick Mullens and the San Francisco 49ers proved that they can compete against any team. Yes, they missed Jimmy Garoppolo, George Kittle and Tevin Coleman, but RB Raheem Mostert and WR Deebo Samuel are back. The Niners will be the host, but they are going to play in Arizona due to the pandemic situation in California. Luckily for them, they know the State Farm stadium pretty well.
The 49ers average 23.7 points per game and the total has gone over in 9 of their last 13 games played in December.
Go over in a close one.
