Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)

The Las Vegas Raiders (5-3) host the Denver Broncos (3-5) in a Sunday afternoon AFC West battle. The Raiders own a two-game win streak, having just survived by the skin of their teeth against the Chargers, 31-26. Las Vegas has a 2-0 record within the division, which could come in handy vs. K.C. in the future. The Raiders’ 11th-ranked offense shouldn’t have much trouble putting points on the boards against the Broncos’ 22nd-ranked defense. It’s the Las Vegas defense that needs to hit the reset button. Da Raidizz D allowed 440 total yards vs the Bolts, and Jon Grudens’ boys were lucky to escape L.A. victorious. The Broncos’ offense is just what the doctor ordered. Denver was asleep at the wheel in Atlanta during the first three quarters, the Broncos bucking into high-gear too late. The Broncos scored 21 points in the fourth quarter, but the dirty birds hung on to win 34-27. The Raiders are 7-3 ATS over their last 10 games, and should cover the 4 ½-point spread here. Denver’s bleak playoff hopes will be dealt a severe blow after this loss to Las Vegas in Allegiant Stadium. Raiders 30, Broncos 21.

Over/Under (Zack Robinson)

Drew Lock has the rest of the season to prove he can be what the Denver Broncos need under center. So far, he has been average, and the Broncos need more.

Philip Lindsay and Melvin Gordon can be one of the best RB duos in the league, but they need a better offensive line.

Denver averages 21.8 points per game (sixth-worst in the league) and the total has gone under in four of Denver’s last five games when playing on the road against Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Raiders average 27.3 points per game. Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller have become a three headed monster.

The total has gone over in seven of Las Vegas’ last eight games, but the Broncos-Raiders games tend to be of high physical contact and low scoring.

Last season both games went under 52 points.
