Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)

The Lions are likely without their top two offensive players in their upcoming NFC North battle with the Vikings. QB Matt Stafford and WR Kenny Golladay are trending towards the bench, and it couldn’t come at a worse time. The Vikings are riding high on a 28-22 victory over the Packers last week, and they’ll ride that wave of success right through the hobbled Lions. Detroit is fighting for their playoff lives after getting smashed 41-21 by the Colts at home in Week 8, and won’t have an answer for Vikes’ RB Dalvin Cook. The beastly back tallied four TDs against Green Bay, and is clearly ready to roll over whoever gets in his way. This game could be quite ugly. Vikings 31, Lions 6

Over/Under (Zack Robinson)

Matthew Stafford has been playing well. He threw for more than 330 yards in the Detroit Lions’ last two games (and four touchdown passes). The Lions running game is very inconsistent, and that’s one of the reasons why they average 25.3 points per game. They could do a lot better.

The total has gone under in six of Detroit’s last eight games on the road.

With Dalvin Cook on the field, the Minnesota Vikings can win practically any game. Last week, the RB scored four touchdowns and he’s becoming the perfect dual-threat back. Nevertheless, Kirk Cousins and their receivers should step up against a very bad defense against the passing game.

The Vikings average 26.1 points per game and the total has gone over in four of Minnesota’s last five games.

Expect some fireworks and go over.
