Week 3’s Sunday Night Football matchup brings us a battle of quarterbacks. On one hand is Aaron Rodgers, who’s looking as hot as ever. On the other is Brees, who comes into this match with a chip on his shoulder following his poor performance against the Raiders. The Saints are favored but that’s only because they’re playing at home. And since there won’t be a crowd, any advantage home field would’ve given New Orleans is no longer applicable.
Expect Rodgers to come out and have another dominant outing. Derek Carr put up 284 passing yards and 3 touchdowns to finish with a passer rating of 120.9. Accounting for the success the Packers’ have enjoyed on the ground, I’m expecting Rodgers to put up bigger numbers. After all, a strong running game definitely opens up a team’s passing opportunities.

Right now, the Green Bay Packers are the most productive team in all pro-football with 42.5 points per game.
Both Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones are playing at an MVP level. Davante Adams is questionable; if he doesn’t play it could affect the offense rhythm, but the New Orleans Saints defense allowed 34 points against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Speaking of the Saints, the offense is not the same without Michael Thomas (questionable), but still, they average 29 points per game (sixth best in the league).
The total has gone over in eight of New Orleans’ last nine games against Green Bay. Expect some fireworks and go over.
