Both Teams Attempting To Avenge Recent Loss
The Chicago Bears had a sloppy season-opening victory against the San Francisco 49ers and didn’t follow that up well. The Green Bay Packers absolutely decimated them (once again) in Week 2, upending Chicago,f 27-10.

Meanwhile, the Houston Texans managed to get tied by the Indianapolis Colts in the season opener and then forced the Denver Broncos into a struggle, which they eventually lost 16-9.
Houston is 0-1-1 but has played its opponents tough while Chicago is 1-1 but could easily be 0-2. Which of these teams is the best option versus the NFL betting odds?

Houston Texans
The Houston Texans are certainly not expected to make it into the postseason but that doesn’t mean they can’t be competitive. So far, so good.
The tie against the Colts was respectable (even though they blew a big lead) and then limiting Russell Wilson and Denver to 16 total points was better.
Offensively, though, it all starts and ends with quarterback Davis Mills and he’s been, pedestrian. Mills threw it 38 times against the Broncos and had 177 yards without a touchdown or an interception.
At some point, he has to be better than just a game manager. It might not be required this week, though, as the Bears are pretty bad all the way around.
Chicago Bears
For some strange reason, the Chicago Bears continue to take responsibility away from young signal caller Justin Fields. Despite losing for the majority of the night against Green Bay, Fields attempted just 11 passes.
They kept pushing the run game with David Montgomery, who was effective with 122 yards on 15 carries, but the team was trailing.
Chicago has to start giving Fields the keys to the offense and its mistrust seems to be hurting the Bears more and more. Top wideout Darnell Mooney has two catches for four yards. Cole Kmet doesn’t have a reception as of yet.
The ground game can be reliable here but if this team wants to be respectable, the passing game needs to start contributing.
Houston has a feisty defense that could cause problems for the Bears, which will make this a difficult test for this offense once again. From what we’ve seen up to this point, it’s hard to know if they’ll pass the test.
