Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans News & Picks
Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans Odds
Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)
Both teams are playing on short rest, and this favors the Titans, who didn’t have to travel for this game. Tennessee squeaked out an ugly 24-17 win at home vs Chicago last week, while Baltimore beat up on Indianapolis 24-10. Colts’ QB Philip Rivers was abysmal in the second half, completing only 11-of-24 passes in the Ravens’ come-from-behind closeout win. The short week doesn’t allow much time for Indianapolis to correct the offensive woes which emerged in Week 9. The Titans will test the Colts’ third-ranked rushing defense with a dose of Derrick Henry. Last week Henry found relatively tough sledding going against the Bears’ front seven, and Indy presents an even stiffer challenge. Henry is second in the NFL with 843 rushing yards, and will likely rebound with a strong game here. Take Tennessee at home in this pickem’ situation .Titans 20, Colts 17
Over/Under (Zack Robinson)
Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts are hard to read. One week they can score 40+ points but be held to 10 points the next.
Rookie RB Jonathan Taylor has not been what everybody expected, and veteran WR T.Y. Hilton has had his worst season in years. The defense has been sensational allowing 20 points per game (third-best in the league).
Indianapolis averages 26 points per game and the total has gone over in four of its last five games on the road.
The Tennessee Titans are one of the most productive teams in the league at 29 points per game.
Derrick Henry remains as one of the best running back and WR A.J. Brown has become a force of nature (similar to Seattle’s DK Metcalf). That’s why Tennessee can beat you either way.
The total has gone over in five of Tennessee’s last seven games, but last season both games between the Colts and Titans went under 49 points. Go under once again.
