Straight Up (Sebastian Morera)
The reigning Super Bowl Odds champions opened the season 2-0. Nevertheless, it would be a complete lie to say that the Chiefs have looked as great as they did in 2019. It’s clear that they don’t have the same explosiveness. Although they did have one big play against Los Angeles, those types of plays were far more common last season. However, the Chiefs were able to pick up a great running back, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, in the first round of the draft and still have numerous weapons on offense. But will that be enough to get the job done against the reigning MVP?
The Ravens have undoubtedly looked like the better team. They scored 38 in their season opener and followed that by dropping 33 in their Week 2 win against the Texans. I expect Lamar Jackson to come out and lead his team to a win in what will likely be a Monday Night shootout.
Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)
Over/Under (Zack Robinson)
Possibly the two best offenses in the league (beyond the early numbers).
The Baltimore Ravens average 35.5 points per game and have won their two games by at least 17 points.
The Kansas City Chiefs struggled against the Los Angeles Chargers, but they average 28.5 points per game. The Tyreek Hill-Travis Kelce is one of the best WR-TE combo’s in the league.
Both QB’s can easily score through the air or on the ground and the total has gone over in four of Baltimore’s last six games against Kansas City. Go over in a thriller.
