The Falcons came out of nowhere in Week 12, slapping the Raiders silly in a home-cooked beatdown. Atlanta reigned in time of possession by almost 10 minutes, and the Falcons’ D forced a total of six turnovers. The Atlanta defense was clicking, and the offense didn’t have to do too much to lockdown a decisive 43-6 victory. The big news is that the Falcons put up 46 points without WR Julio Jones (hamstring). Jones is trending towards playing vs the Saints, and that boosts Atlanta. I’m not suggesting you jump on the Falcons’ bandwagon, just because they blew up on the Raiders last week. However, Atlanta is playing with a fire in its belly, and won’t let New Orleans escape without a fight. The Falcons have a record of 11-3 ATS in their previous 14 games as a home dog. The Saints win their ninth straight, but take Atlanta +3 in this exciting spot. Saints 27, Falcons 26
Over/Under (Zack Robinson)
The Cleveland Browns have won their last three games in a row. The streak coincided with the return of RB Nick Chubb, who ran for 100+ yards in each of those three games. With Chubb on the field, the Browns don’t have to throw that much, and they can manage the clock better.
The Browns average 24.1 points per game and the total has gone over in four of their last five games when playing on the road against the Tennessee Titans.
Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans scored 45 points in their last game. Henry ran for 178 yards and three touchdowns. The Titans are also good through the air thanks to the chemistry between QB Ryan Tannehill and WR A.J. Brown.
Tennessee averages 29.5 points per game (sixth best in the league) and the total has gone over in eight of their last ten games.
