The last undefeated team in the NFC faces an up-and-coming Arizona Cardinals team that has upset capability. The problem for Arizona is that Seattle is well-rested coming off its bye week, and that’s a big deal these days. In the battle of the NFC West birds, the Seahawks have all of the advantages in this game, besides home-field.
Playing in Arizona shouldn’t faze the Hawks, who are 7-1 ATS over their last eight road games vs teams with a winning home record. Seattle is also 13-4-1 ATS in its previous 18 games on the road, overall. The Cardinals pasted the Cowboys 38-10 last week, but have yet to face an offense as dynamic as the Seahawks. Russell Wilson is leading the MVP race, and the Seattle defense leads the league in takeaways. The Seahawks have a slew of injuries that desperately needed extra time to heal, and the bye provided that buffer.
