NFL Week 10 Matchups Overview

Week 10 of the NFL regular season begins with a divisional matchup on Thursday Night. First place in the AFC South  will be at stake when the Indianapolis Colts (5-3) visit the Tennessee Titans (6-2).

After a surprisingly tough matchup in Dallas (against all odds), the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers will play host to the Cincinnati Bengals. The winless New York Jets won’t have a chance to lose as they are one of the four teams on bye.

Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) vs Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals) is the most interesting individual matchup scheduled on Sunday.

Four teams will be on bye: Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons.

Sunday Night offers a matchup between franchises in different situations as the Baltimore Ravens (6-2) visit Gillette Stadium to face the New England Patriots (2-5).

Last but not least, the Minnesota Vikings (3-5) travel to Chicago to face the Bears (5-4). Both teams are trying to keep up with the Green Bay Packers (6-2) in the NFC North.

We have you covered with the latest news, stats, info and NFL Week 10 Odds for all matchups.

Without further ado, here are our BetUS Games of the Week for Week 10 of the 2020 NFL Season. All game preview odds are as of writing.

  • Indianapolis Colts

    VS

    Tennessee Titans

    November 12, 8:20pm ET

Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts lost in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens. They scored just 10 points, none of the receivers surpassed 56 yards and none of the running backs surpassed 39 yards.

Luckily, the Tennessee Titans’ defense is much more vulnerable, and they expect veteran T.Y. Hilton to be back.

Jordan Wilkins has been a lot better than rookie Jonathan Taylor; many believe that Wilkins should be the starting running back.

The Titans beat the Chicago Bears (24-17) despite a modest performance from Derrick Henry (68 yards in 21 attempts).

WR A.J. Brown established himself as Tennessee’s No. 1 receiver after another 100+ yards and one touchdown performance.

Last season, the Colts beat Tennessee (19-17) on the road, but later the Titans took revenge with a 31-17 victory.

Indianapolis are 14-3 in their last 17 games against the Titans, and the Colts lead the all-time series 34-17-0.

  • Buffalo Bills

    VS

    Arizona Cardinals

    November 15, 4:05 pm ET

Josh Allen comes from a huge performance against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. The Buffalo Bills’ QB ended with 429 total yards and four total touchdowns.

The Bills scored 44 points and rookie running Zack Moss outplayed Devin Singletary for the first time. Expect Moss to be more involved in the offense.

Allen is back on the MVP candidates’ list and the Bills remain as one of the favorites to win it all in the AFC.

The Bills are 1-5 ATS in their last six games on the road.

Kyler Murray played an unbelievable game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9 but that wasn’t enough. The Arizona Cardinals lost and they missed a chance to catch the Seahawks atop the NFC West.

Christian Kirk scored for the third straight game. He has been Murray’s preferred target over the last weeks, but don’t forget that Murray can also throw to DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald.

The Cardinals are 5-14-1 in their last 20 games at home.

  • Baltimore Ravens (-7)

    VS

    New England Patriots

    November 15, 8:20 pm ET

In Week 9, Lamar Jackson didn’t throw a single touchdown pass for the first time this season. Nevertheless, the Baltimore Ravens’ running game and defense backed him up.

The Ravens already activated veteran receiver Dez Bryant, but he didn’t record a single catch in Week 9. He expects to be more involved next Sunday against a weak New England Patriots defense.

Last season, the Ravens beat the Patriots, 37-20. Jackson scored two rushing touchdowns; expect that to happen again.

The New England Patriots suffered against the New York Jets, but Cam Newton played a flawless game (no turnovers). He scored two rushing touchdowns and threw for 274 yards; 169 to Jakobi Meyers.

Bill Belichick said that they have less to work with, “it’s not an excuse, it’s just a fact”, he said, so you can expect the Patriots to be average the rest of the season.

The Patriots are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games when playing at home against Baltimore.

  • Minnesota Vikings (-3)

    VS

    Chicago Bears

    November 16, 8:15 pm ET

Kirk Cousins revived with a solid performance against the Detroit Lions in Week 9. The Minnesota Vikings’ QB threw for 220 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Dalvin Cook had another monster game with 252 total yards and two touchdowns. When healthy, he’s nearly unstoppable.

The Vikings have won two in a row for the first time this season, but they are 3-16 in their last 19 games when playing on the road against Chicago.

The Bears come off a tough loss against the Titans. Nick Foles had 335 yards pass, two touchdowns and no interceptions) but that wasn’t enough.

Chicago’s running game is one of the worst in the league (none of their RBs surpassed 30 yards in Week 9).

Last season, the Bears won both games (16-6 and 21-19). Actually, they have won the last four games against the Vikings, but Minnesota leads the all-time series 60-56-2.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Minnesota Vikings vs Chicago Bears matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Houston Texans

    VS

    Cleveland Browns

    November 15, 1:00 pm ET

The Houston Texans (2-6) beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 (27-25), but the Texans defense struggled a lot against a rookie quarterback.

Offensively speaking, DeShaun Watson ended with 331 total yards and two passing touchdowns. Receivers Will Fuller and Brandin Cooks combined for 183 yards and two touchdowns, proving that they are one of the best duos in the league.

The Texans are 1-5 SU in their last six games against an opponent from the AFC North.

The Cleveland Browns (5-3) come from their bye week and they expect Nick Chubb to be back from IR.

Without Chubb, the Browns are 2-2, but their running game hasn’t been the same and they really need a solid running game if they want to remain in the Wildcard race.

With Odell Beckham Jr. out for the rest of the season, Rashard Higgins, Khadarel Hodge and Donovan Peoples-Jones are expected to step up.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Houston Texans vs Cleveland Browns matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Jacksonville Jaguars

    VS

    Green Bay Packers

    November 15, 1:00 pm ET

Rookie QB Jake Luton played well enough (304 yards, one touchdown, one interception) to have one more chance as the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-7) starter against the Green Bay Packers, but Gardner Minshew could be back as he remains day-to-day.

The Jaguars haven’t won since Week 1, but RB James Robinson (99 rushing yards, one touchdown) and WR DJ Chark (146 yards, one touchdown) also played well against the Texans, which gives the team and the fans some hope.

Jacksonville are 0-5 in their last five games on the road.

In Week 9, the Green Bay Packers (6-2) crushed the San Francisco 49ers with a great performance from Aaron Rodgers (305 passing yards and four touchdowns).

Aaron Jones is back (58 yards in 15 attempts against the Niners), which means the Packers can win either way; through the air or through the ground.

Green Bay’s defense needs to be better, but the Jaguars shouldn’t be such a problem.

The Packers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against opponents from the AFC.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Jacksonville Jaguars vs Green Bay Packers matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Philadelphia Eagles (-3½)

    VS

    New York Giants

    November 8 1:00 pm ET

Carson Wentz and the banged-up Philadelphia Eagles (3-4-1) come off their bye week. Believe it or not, the Eagles lead the NFC East and have a good chance to be in the playoffs.

The Eagles expect RB Miles Sanders and WR Alshon Jeffery to be back. TE Zach Ertz remains questionable.

Prior to their bye week, the Eagles won two games in a row against divisional rivals.

Daniel Jones and the New York Giants have won two games; both against the Washington Football Team.

In Week 9 against Washington, Wayne Gallman ran for 68 yards and one touchdown. Gallman has become the Giants’ No. 1 running back, but Alfred Morris has been really good too.

The Giants are 6-14 in their last 20 games against an opponent from the NFC East.

We are talking of a ferocious rivalry here, as the Eagles lead the all-time series 88-85-2.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    VS

    Carolina Panthers

    November 15, 1:00 pm ET

In Week 9, Tom Brady lost by 35 points for the first time in his career. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3) were no match for the New Orleans Saints despite having Chris Godwin back and Antonio Brown debuting.

The Bucs need to be better. If Brady’s having a bad day, the running game needs to back him up, but Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette haven’t been great.

Offensively speaking, Tampa Bay have too many weapons, but the defense is a totally different story (they also suffered a lot against the New York Giants).

Christian McCaffrey returned against the Kansas City Chiefs and ended with 151 total yards and two touchdowns. However, he has a shoulder injury and is day-to-day for Carolina.

Teddy Bridgewater threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to the Super Bowl champs.

WR’s Curtis Samuel and Robby Anderson are one of the best duos to go deep.

The Panthers lead the all-time series 24-16-0.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Washington Football Team

    VS

    Detroit Lions

    November 15, 1:00 pm ET

The Washington Football Team lost another quarterback. Kyle Allen, who replaced Dwayne Haskins got injured in Week 9, and now veteran Alex Smith will be under center.

Washington’s (2-6) two victories were against divisional rivals (Philadelphia and Dallas). WR Terry McLaurin has been the best player of the team (115 yards and one touchdown in Week 9).

Washington is 0-5 SU in the last five games on the road.

The Detroit Lions (3-5) are not a bad team, but they are not good either. In Week 9, Matthew Stafford threw for 211 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Stafford suffered a big hit and was replaced by Chase Daniel but his status for Week 10 is not in jeopardy.

WR Kenny Golladay hasn’t been healthy and that hurts the Lions chances to be more competitive. HC Matt Patricia needs to do something about the defense (allows 30 points per game).

Not surprisingly, the Lions are 0-7 SU in their last seven games at home.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Washington Football Team vs Detroit Lions matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Los Angeles Chargers

    VS

    Miami Dolphins

    November 15, 4:05 pm ET

Justin Herbert is the Los Angeles Chargers’ present and future. The rookie QB has been sensational, but the team just can’t win.

The Bolts lost 31-26 against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9 despite having multiple options to win it.

Herbert threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns. Kalen Ballage became the Chargers’ top running back and ran for 69 yards and one touchdown; Ballage will remain in that role until Austin Ekeler gets back.

The Chargers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against an opponent from the AFC East.

Rookie Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins (5-3) are on fire!

They have won the last four games in a row (two with Tua since coming back from their bye week) and they have scored at least 24 points in every one of those games.

RB Jordan Howard is trying to become the Dolphins starter (19 yards and one touchdown in Week 9), but that’s Miles Gaskin’s job when healthy.

The Dolphins are 5-1 ATS in their last six games at home.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Los Angeles Chargers vs Miami Dolphins matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Denver Broncos

    VS

    Las Vegas Raiders

    November 15, 1:00pm ET

The Denver Broncos (3-5) could be a good team, but QB Drew Lock is too inconsistent.

He’s good at moving the chains, but has problems in the red zone. The Broncos also tend to start games on the low side and then is too late.

Rookie WR Jerry Jeudy looks like a solid option for the near future. Next year he and Courtland Sutton (injured) should become one of the best duos in the league.

The Broncos are one of those teams that can play really well one week and stink the next one.

The Las Vegas Raiders (5-3) are still in the Wild-Card race.

Derek Carr has been solid all year and Darren Waller has established himself as one of the top tight ends in the league.

The Raiders’ running game is strong thanks to Josh Jacobs and Devontae Booker. The Raiders are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games.

Last season, Oakland beat Denver at home (24-16) and then the Broncos took revenge (16-15). The Las Vegas Raiders lead the all-time series 65-54-2.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Denver Broncos vs Las Vegas Raiders matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Seattle Seahawks

    VS

    Los Angeles Rams

    November 15, 4:25 pm ET

The Seattle Seahawks (6-2) come off a tough loss against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. Russell Wilson (395 total yards and three touchdowns) and D.K. Metcalf (108 yards, one touchdown) did their job, but the defense didn’t.

Deejay Dallas was the starting running back (Chris Carson was out due to injury) and ran for 31 yards and one touchdown. The Seahawks are a passing team, but they need Carson back to run more screen pass plays.

The Seahawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a divisional rival.

The Los Angeles Rams (5-4) come off their much-needed bye week.

Jared Goff has been inconsistent and WR Cooper Kupp is not the same. They need to develop more chemistry to give the Rams’ more chances.

Aaron Donald remains as one of the top defenders in the league, but the defense as a unit has not been good.

The Rams are 5-0 SU in their last five games at home.

Last season, the Seahawks won at home (30-29) and then the Rams took revenge (28-12). Seattle leads the all-time series 24-20-0.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • Cincinnati Bengals

    VS

    Pittsburgh Steelers

    November 15, 4:25 pm ET

Rookie QB Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals (2-5-1) come off their bye week.

Burrow has been throwing for 300+ yards week after week, but the team struggles to maintain leads.

RB Joe Mixon is expected to be back, and they really need him if they want to have more chances to beat the unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Bengals are 1-6 SU in their last seven games when playing on the road against Pittsburgh.

Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers remain undefeated, but they suffered a lot against the worst defense in the league (Dallas) in Week 9.

The Steelers have too many weapons on offense and the defense remains as one of the best in the league. Roethlisberger suffered a big hit against Dallas, but he’s ready to go.

Pittsburgh are 5-1 ATS in their last six games.

The Steelers have won the last ten games against the Bengals and they lead the all-time series 66-35-0.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.

  • San Francisco 49ers

    VS

    New Orleans Saints

    November 15, 4:25 pm ET

The San Francisco 49ers (4-5) are not the same team that played in the Super Bowl last season. The injuries are too many (Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert, George Kittle, Nick Bosa, etc.).

Nick Mullens is not a bad back-up quarterback, but he doesn’t have too many weapons to work with. Jerick McKinnon has become the starting running back but he hasn’t been that guy for a long time.

The 49ers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against an opponent from the NFC South.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints crushed Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9.

With Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders back, Brees threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns. In Week 9, the veteran QB connected with 12 different receivers (that’s crazy).

Alvin Kamara remains as one of the top dual-threat running backs in the league and the defense proved that they took advantage of their bye week to improve.

The Saints are 5-0 SU in their last five games.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our San Francisco 49ers vs New Orleans Saints matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 10 Odds.
