NFL Week 12 Matchups Overview

The unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers will play host to the Baltimore Ravens; many consider this to be the hottest rivalry in the league.

The New York Jets (first team eliminated from the Playoffs) will have a great opportunity to get their first victory against a Miami Dolphins team with QB/confidence issues.

Patrick Mahomes vs Tom Brady. Luckily for Tom the game is not at primetime (1-3 record, 5 TD, 5 INT).

We have you covered with the latest news, stats, info and NFL Week 12 Odds for all matchups.

NFL Games of the Week

NFL Week 12 begins with the Houston Texans vs Detroit Lions, Washington Football Team vs Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sunday Night revives the oldest rivalry in the NFL as the Chicago Bears travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers.

Last but not least, Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks visit Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night.

Without further adieu, here are our BetUS Games of the Week for Week 12 of the 2020 NFL Season. All game preview odds are as of writing.

  • Houston Texans (-3)

    VS

    Detroit Lions

    November 26, 12:30pm ET

Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans (3-7) come off a good victory against the New England Patriots. Watson played his best game of the season with 380 total yards and three total touchdowns.

Three Texans’ receivers finished with 80+ yards. The team is throwing a lot more since David Johnson (starting RB) was injured.

The Texans are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against an opponent from the NFC North.

Matthew Stafford has been playing with a thumb injury and RB D’Andre Swift remains in concussion protocol. The Detroit Lions need both to be at 100%.

The Lions’ defense is among the worst as it allows 28.7 points per game (fourth worst).

The Lions lost 20-0 against the Carolina Panthers (with their backup QB) in Week 11.

The Lions are 1-9 SU in their last 10 played in November.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Houston Texans vs Detroit Lions matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Washington Football Team (-3)

    VS

    Dallas Cowboys

    November 26, 4:30 pm ET

Surprisingly, both teams won in Week 11. The Washington Football Team (3-7) beat the Cincinnati Bengals and the Dallas Cowboys (3-7) beat the Minnesota Vikings.

The Washington Football Team are much better with Alex Smith under center. RB Antonio Gibson has been sensational (94 YDS, 1 TD in Week 11) and WR Terry McLaurin has been proving that he can be their No. 1 receiver for the near future.

Washington are 0-6 SU in their last six games on the road.

Andy Dalton returned, and the Dallas Cowboys won. In Week 11, Dalton threw for 203 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT; he connected with eight different receivers. Also, Ezekiel Elliott ran for 103 yards.

The Cowboys looked good, but they need to be better on defense (allow 31.8 points per game).

Dallas are 1-4 ATS in their last five games at home.

Washington already beat the Cowboys (25-3), but those were different teams. Dallas leads the all-time series 73-46-2.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Washington Football Team vs Dallas Cowboys matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Baltimore Ravens (-7)

    VS

    Pittsburgh Steelers

    November 26, 8:20 pm ET

The Baltimore Ravens (6-4) lost against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11 and they need a victory here in order to remain in the Wild-Card race.

Lamar Jackson threw for less than 200 yards once again (six times this season) despite having veteran Dez Bryant more involved. He needs to get better if he wants to survive.

RB’s J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram are out due to COVID-19. Gus Edwards will start in the backfield.

The Ravens are 4-0-2 ATS in their last six games when playing on the road against Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (10-0) had no problems with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the defense (allows 17.4 points per game) proved that right now they are the best unit in the league.

Offensively, the trio of Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool and Juju Smith-Schuster is too much for opposing defenses. Ben Roethlisberger knows this is his best chance to win another Super Bowl.

The Steelers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games.

Pittsburgh already beat the Ravens (28-24) and leads the all-time series 29-24-0.

  • Chicago Bears

    VS

    Green Bay Packers (-8½)

    November 29, 8:20 pm ET

Nick Foles and the Chicago Bears (5-5) come from their bye week, but head coach Matt Nagy is having doubts regarding the starting QB, so we could see Mitch Trubisky under center once again.

The Bears average 19.1 points per game. They are not the worst because the New York Jets exist.

Chicago are 3-7 ATS in their last ten games on the road.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (7-3) command the NFC North, but they come from a tough loss against the Indianapolis Colts.

Rodgers was impeccable once again (311 YDS, 3 TD), but the Packers running game needs to be better if they want to have a chance in close games against good teams.

The Packers are 9-1 SU in their last 10 at home. They lead the all-time series against the Bears 99-95-6, and they have won seven of their last eight matchups.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Seattle Seahawks (-5½)

    VS

    Philadelphia Eagles

    November 30, 8:15 pm ET

Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks (7-3) had some extra rest after playing on Thursday Night in Week 11.

Many consider Wilson to be the favorite in the MVP race (leads the league with 30 touchdown passes). Seattle averages 31.8 points per game (second best in the league).

D.K. Metcalf has been sensational, and the Seahawks have Carlos Hyde back in the backfield.

The Seahawks are 6-0 ATS in their last six games against Philadelphia.

Carson Wentz and the Eagles (3-6-1) lead the NFC East, but they are not a playoff team, not close.

Wentz is having a bad year (14 TD-14 INT). Dallas Goedert and Alshon Jeffery are back, but he really misses Zach Ertz and DeSean Jackson.

Philly are 7-13 in their last 20 games against an opponent from the NFC West.

The Seahawks have won the last six matchups, including a post-season 17-9 victory back in January.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Seattle Seahawks vs Philadelphia Eagles matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Las Vegas Raiders (-3)

    VS

    Atlanta Falcons

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

The Las Vegas Raiders (6-4) almost beat the Kansas City Chiefs (again) in Week 11, proving that they can fight with the elite any given Sunday.

Derek Carr has found gold in Darren Waller and Nelson Agholor (88 YDS and one touchdown each in Week 11). Josh Jacobs has scored at least one rushing touchdown in the last three games (five total touchdowns in that period).

The Raiders are 6-2 SU in their last eight games played in November.

Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons (3-7) lost against the New Orleans Saints in Week 11. The Saints without Drew Brees.

Ryan threw for 232 yards and two interceptions. At least he connected with seven different receivers. No RB ran for more than 26 yards; you simply can’t win that way.

The Falcons are 1-4 ATS in their last five games at home.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Las Vegas Raiders vs Atlanta Falcons matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Arizona Cardinals (-2½)

    VS

    New England Patrtios

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals (6-4) are a pretty good team, but not consistent enough.

The dual-threat quarterback has been sensational through the ground (10 touchdowns), but he needs to be better when throwing the ball.

They had some extra rest after playing on Thursday Night in Week 11.

The Cardinals are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against an opponent from the AFC East.

Cam Newton and the New England Patriots (4-6) are getting better. The former MVP threw for 365 yards in Week 11 (second best since joining the Patriots) and RB Damien Harris is looking like the No. 1 RB they have been looking for.

New England averages just 20.9 points per game (seventh worst in the league), but they are 8-2 SU in their last ten games against an opponent from the NFC.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Arizona Cardinals vs New England Patriots matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • New York Giants (-5)

    VS

    Cincinnati Bengals

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

Daniel Jones and the New York Giants (3-7) come off their bye week.

They won their last two games (Washington and Philadelphia). Jones played a lot better against the Eagles, throwing for 244 yards and no interceptions; he also ran for 64 yards and a touchdown (he’s becoming a good runner).

Clearly, Wayne Gallman is the Giants’ No. 1 running back. He scored at least one rushing touchdown in their last four matches.

The Giants are 1-6 SU in their last seven games against an opponent from the AFC.

Joe Burrow is down, and the Cincinnati Bengals (2-7-1) will have Ryan Finley under center. Joe Mixon is also out due to injury, which means the Bengals’ offense is in serious troubles.

The Bengals are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 games against an opponent from the NFC East.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our New York Giants vs Cincinnati Bengals matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Cleveland Browns (-2½)

    VS

    Jacksonville Jaguars

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

The Cleveland Browns (7-3) are becoming a serious threat in the AFC. They are so much better with Nick Chubb in the backfield.

KhaDarel Hodge and Rashard Higgins have been replacing Odell Beckham Jr. and they have done a pretty good job.

Baker Mayfield has three straight games without a touchdown pass nor an interception.

The Browns are 1-9 in their last 10 on the road.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) remain winless since Week 1.

QB Jake Luton is not bad, but he’s not better than Gardner Minshew (injured), who could be back just in time to start against the Browns.

RB James Robinson has been their best player. He has 762 rushing yards (third best in the league) and five rushing touchdowns.

The Jaguars are 9-1-2 ATS in their last 12 games against an opponent from the AFC North.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Cleveland Browns vs Jacksonville Jaguars matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Tennessee Titans

    VS

    Indianapolis Colts

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

The AFC South top spot will be at stake!

The Tennessee Titans (7-3) beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11 thanks to a monster game from Derrick Henry (leads the league in rushing yards with 1079).

The problem with Tennessee is that their defense is vulnerable.

Tennessee is 2-10 in their last 12 games when playing on the road against Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Colts (7-3) beat Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in Week 11. They have found a good balance between throwing and running; rookie RB Jonathan Taylor looks 100% healthy and he can be really good when healthy.

Indy already beat the Titans (34-17) in Week 9. RB Nyheim Hines was the star in that game with 115 total yards and two touchdowns.

The Colts lead the all-time series against the Titans 35-17-0. They have won four of their last five matchups.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Tennessee Titans vs Indianapolis Colts matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Los Angeles Chargers

    VS

    Buffalo Bills (-5)

    November 29, 1:00pm ET

What a great matchup we have here; Justin Herbert vs Josh Allen.

The Los Angeles Chargers beat the New York Jets in Week 11 thanks to a huge performance from Justin Herbert, who threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns.

Kalen Ballage established himself as the Chargers’ No. 1 running back.

The Chargers are 7-3 in their last 10 games when playing on the road against Buffalo.

The Bills (7-3) come from their bye week.

Josh Allen has been sensational. Many consider him the MVP. WR Stefon Diggs has been sensational too.

The Bills average 27.2 points per game, and they have won three of their last four games.

Buffalo are 5-1 ATS in their last six games played in November.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Los Angeles Chargers vs Buffalo Bills matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Miami Dolphins (-9)

    VS

    New York Jets

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

Surprisingly enough, the Miami Dolphins (6-4) benched QB Tua Tagovailoa in Week 11 due to a poor performance against the Denver Broncos. He won the previous three games.

Veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick took his place, but head coach Brian Flores already said that Tua will be back under center to face the New York Jets.

Miami are 3-7 SU in their last ten games against an opponent from the AFC East.

The New York Jets (0-10) are already eliminated from the playoffs, but they don’t want to finish the season without a single victory.

QB Sam Darnold remains questionable and RB La’Mical Perine is going to be out several weeks due to a high-ankle sprain.

The Dolphins already beat the Jets (24-0) in Week 6. Joe Flacco started in that game for the Jets.

The Jets lead the all-time series against the Dolphins 55-54-1, but Miami won five of their last six matchups.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Carolina Panthers (-4½)

    VS

    Minnesota Vikings

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

The Carolina Panthers beat the Detroit Lions 20-0 in Week 11. P.J. Walker was their QB (he comes from the XFL) and he played good enough (258 YDS, 1 TD, 2 INT).

QB Teddy Bridgewater remains questionable, but the Panthers believe he will be ready to face the Vikings. Same for Christian McCaffrey.

The Panthers are 3-13 SU in their last 16 games against an opponent from the NFC.

In Week 11, the Minnesota Vikings (4-6) lost against the Dallas Cowboys despite Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook playing a huge game.

The defense gave up 31 points. They are one of the worst units in the league allowing 27.8 points per game (sixth worst).

Minnesota are 5-1 ATS in their last six games played in November.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Carolina Panthers vs Minnesota Vikings matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • San Francisco 49ers

    VS

    Los Angeles Rams (-7)

    November 29, 4:25 pm ET

Los Angeles Rams (7-3) beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11 thanks to a stellar performance from WR’s Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods.

Their defense, led by Aaron Donald, allows just 19.2 points per game (second best in the league).

The Rams are 6-0 SU in their last six games at home.

The San Francisco 49ers (4-6) come from their bye week. Nick Mullens will be under center.

San Francisco already beat the Rams (24-16) in Week 6, but they did it with Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert and George Kittle on the field, all three are out for next Sunday due to injury.

The Niners’ are 10-4 SU in their last 14 games on the road.

San Francisco leads the all-time series against the Rams 72-67-3. They have won their last three matchups.

  • New Orleans Saints (-4½)

    VS

    Denver Broncos

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

The New Orleans Saints didn’t miss Drew Brees in Week 11. Taysom Hill took his place and he threw for 233 yards with no touchdown passes nor interceptions; he also ran for 51 yards and two touchdowns.

Clearly, the Saints offensive plan changed with Hill under center. You can expect them to run the ball a lot more in upcoming games.

The Saints are 10-1 in their last 11 games on the road.

The Denver Broncos also changed their offensive plan and they beat the Miami Dolphins in Week 11.

Denver ran the ball 33 times and they finished with 189 yards and two touchdowns. That took some pressure off to QB Drew Lock.

The Broncos are 5-1 SU in their last six games when playing at home against New Orleans.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our New Orleans Saints vs Denver Broncos matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 12 Odds.

  • Kansas City Chiefs (-3)

    VS

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    November 29, 1:00 pm ET

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) went to Las Vegas and won 35-31 in Week 11.

Mahomes played a good game, as usual, but RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire was the star with 69 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs are comfortable at the top of the AFC West, but their secondary needs to be better in order to beat the other AFC Super Bowl contenders.

Kansas City are 7-0 SU in their last seven games on the road.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4) lost against the Los Angeles Rams.

Right now, Brady and the Bucs’ are a Playoffs team, but they are not a Super Bowl Odds team. The running game needs to be better.

The Buccaneers are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games played in November.
