NFL Week 4

The Tennessee Titans confirmed several COVID-19 positives cases (including players and some other members of their staff), and now they and the Minnesota Vikings (Week 3 opponent) suspended activities at their facilities.

No games suspended yet, but the NFL is monitoring the situation very closely.

NFL Week 4 Matchups Overview

Week 4 begins Thursday; Oct. 1 in New York as the Jets play host to the Denver Broncos. Both teams are winless, but the Broncos have suffered a lot more from the injury bug (10+ starters).

There will be one more game between winless teams (Minnesota Vikings vs Houston Texans) and just one between two of the remaining seven undefeated teams (Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tennessee Titans).

We have you covered with the latest news, stats, info and NFL Week 4 Odds for all matchups.

NFL Games of the Week

The New England Patriots powerful defense (22 points allowed per game ) against the Kansas City Chiefs (30.3 points scored per game) incredible offense.

The undefeated Buffalo Bills travel to Las Vegas, and Matt Ryan and the low-flying Atlanta Falcons face Aaron Rodgers and the undefeated Green Bay Packers on Monday Night.

Without further ado, here are our BetUS Games of the Week for Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season. All game preview sportsbook odds are as of writing.

Denver Broncos (-3) vs New York Jets

October 1, 8:20pm ET

The Denver Broncos (0-3) have lost QB Drew Lock, WR Courtland Sutton, LB Von Miller and many others to injuries. They lost in Week 3 with Jeff Driskel under center, and will start their third quarterback in as many weeks. Undrafted Brett Rypien replaced Driskel last week and completed eight of nine pass attempts with one interception.

The New York Jets (0-3) are a disaster on both sides of the field, and on the sideline. Their offense average 263.7 yards per game (worst in the league) and their defense is allowing 31.3 points per game (fifth worst in the league). Bets are pouring in on Head Coach Adam Gase being the first to lose his job this season.

The Jets are 2-4 SU (Straight Up) in their last six games and the Broncos are 1-5 SU in their last six games on the road.

Buffalo Bills (-3) vs Las Vegas Raiders

October 4, 4:25pm ET

The Buffalo Bills (3-0) have found a franchise QB in Josh Allen (second in the league with 1,038 passing yards so far) and his perfect sidekick in WR Stefon Diggs (fourth in the league with 288 receiving yards).

The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-1 and they want to make Allegiant Stadium their fortress. If healthy, expect a huge game from TE Darren Waller (12 receptions, 105 yards and 1 TD in Week 2 home opener).

The Bills are 3-6 SU in their last nine games against the Raiders.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Buffalo Bills vs Las Vegas Raiders matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 4 Odds.

New England Patriots vs Kansas City Chiefs (-7 Ev)

October 4, 4:25pm ET

The New England Patriots (2-1) are feeling more comfortable with Cam Newton under center, and Rex Burkhead emerged as a solid RB option with two touchdowns in Week 3 against the Raiders.

The Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) crushed the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 to remain as the AFC favorites to win it all. Patrick Mahomes is playing at an MVP level and the quantity of options he has to throw to is ridiculous (including the offensive line).

The Kansas City Chiefs are 11-1 ATS (Against the Spread) in their last 12 games.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our New England Patriots vs Kansas City Chiefs matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 4 Odds.

Philadelphia Eagles vs San Francisco 49ers (-7)

October 4, 8:20pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles (0-2-1) average 19.7 points per game and their defense is allowing 29 points per game.

Carson Wentz is not having any good chemistry with several receivers and their running game is not elite at all.

The San Francisco 49ers (2-1) lost several key players due to injury including Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert and Nick Bosa, but they crushed the New York Giants in Week 3 with three rushing touchdowns from three different players; expect that trend to continue.

San Francisco are 8-3 SU in their last 11 games at home.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Philadelphia Eagles vs San Francisco 49ers matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 4 Odds.

Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers (-7 ½)

October 5, 8:15pm ET

The Atlanta Falcons (0-3) wasted a 20-point lead in Week 2 and a 16-point lead in Week 3. Matt Ryan and the offense are doing their job (kind of) but their defense needs some drastic changes. They are the first team in NFL history to squander 15-plus-point 4th quarter leads in consecutive games.

WR Julio Jones is questionable.

The Green Bay Packers (3-0) average 40.7 points per game, even with Davante Adams out due to injury. Arguably, Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones are the best QB-RB combo in the league.

The Packers are 7-0 in their last seven games at home.

Baltimore Ravens (-13) vs Washington Football Team

October 4, 1:00pm ET

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens (2-1) are hurt after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3, but they still remain as one of the AFC’s best teams.

They average 30.3 points per game (fifth best in the league). Their running game is insane, and they are facing a defense who allowed more than 150 yards and two touchdowns through the ground in Week 3. They could drop a 50-burger this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5) vs Tennessee Titans

October 4, 1:00pm ET

The Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) have found pretty good offensive balance with Ben Roethlisberger, JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner; they average 26.7 points and 382 yards per game.

The Tennessee Titans (3-0) have one of the league’s best running backs in Derrick Henry (first in the league with 319 rushing yards) and Ryan Tannehill is becoming a reliable quarterback.

This is the only match between two undefeated teams. They haven’t faced each other since the 2017 season.

Tennessee are 5-1 SU in their last six games against an opponent from the AFC.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-7 ½)

October 4, 1:00pm ET

An injury (Tyrod Taylor had his lung punctured in a routine procedure by a team doctor) sped up Justin Herbert’s debut and the Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) are 0-2 with him under center.

His numbers have been good (330 passing yards per game) but he needs to improve in the red zone.

After losing in Week 1, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) are the NFC South leaders heading into Week 4.

Tom Brady played his best match so far in Week 3 (297 yards and 3 touchdowns) and their defense is one of the best.

The Buccaneers are 6-3 SU in their last nine games.

Seattle Seahawks (-7 Ev) vs Miami Dolphins

October 4, 1:00pm ET

Right now, Russell Wilson (925 passing yards, 14 TD, 1 INT) is the league MVP. The Seattle Seahawks are 3-0 and averaging 37 points per game (second-best in the league).

The Miami Dolphins (1-2) got their first victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 and they will be well rested, but they are no match for the Seahawks.

Ryan Fitzpatrick remains the Dolphins starting QB.

The Seahawks are 9-2 in their last 11 games on the road.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Seattle Seahawks vs Miami Dolphins matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 4 Odds.

Minnesota Vikings vs Houston Texans (-3.5)

October 4, 1:00pm ET

The Minnesota Vikings are winless (0-3) but not all is bad news. In Week 3, Kirk Cousins developed a nice chemistry with other receivers than Adam Thielen.

WR Justin Jefferson finished with 7 receptions for 175 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Houston Texans are also winless (0-3) and they are having troubles on both sides of the field.

Deshaun Watson needs to be a better leader and connect more with his main receivers, while their running game needs to improve, a lot.

The Texans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games at home.

New Orleans Saints (-4) vs Detroit Lions

October 4, 1:00pm ET

What a great QB-WR combo matchup we have here.

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints (1-2) are expected to have Michael Thomas back. The Saints have struggled in the last couple of weeks, but Alvin Kamara has been outstanding.

The Detroit Lions (1-2) expect WR Kenny Golladay to be 100% healthy for this game. He already played in Week 3 but not at full speed. Good news for Matthew Stafford and the rest of the offense.

New Orleans are 3-7 SU in their last 10 games when playing on the road against Detroit.

Cleveland Browns vs Dallas Cowboys (-4 ½)

October 4, 1:00pm ET

A running backs matchup here.

Nick Chubb (fourth in the league with 292 rushing yards) has been sensational for the Cleveland Browns (2-1), giving QB Baker Mayfield some space to improve.

The Dallas Cowboys (1-2) are not winless, thanks to the miracle that is the Falcons’ ineptitude. Ezekiel Elliot remains as one of the best in the league (one rushing touchdown in each game so far).

The Cowboys are 6-1 SU in their last seven games when playing at home against the Browns.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Cincinnati Bengals (-3)

October 4, 1:00pm ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) have lost two in a row, but they have found a franchise player in RB James Robinson (210 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns so far).

Remember Maurice Jones-Drew? He’s similar.

Joe Burrow’s numbers are good (821 passing yards, 5 TD, 1 INT) but the Cincinnati Bengals (0-2-1) need to be better as a team.

RB Joe Mixon and WR A.J. Green need to become an example for their teammates.

The Bengals are 2-7 SU in their last nine games at home.

Get in-depth pre-game analysis at our Jacksonville Jaguars vs Cincinnati Bengals matchup page, as well as the latest team & player news, stats, injury & weather reports, and NFL Week 4 Odds.

Indianapolis Colts vs Chicago Bears

October 4, 1:00pm ET

The Indianapolis Colts (2-1) have won two in a row but against two very limited teams (Vikings and Jets).

Philip Rivers is reliable, and TE Mo Alie-Cox and RB Jonathan Taylor are becoming a force of their own.

The Chicago Bears (3-0) have a new starting quarterback in Nick Foles. Foles replaced Mitch Trubisky in Week 3 against the Falcons and led the team to a final minute victory.

The Bears passing game is going to be so much better with Foles under control. He already managed to recover a good version of TE Jimmy Graham.

Chicago are 4-1 ATS in their last five games played in Week 4.

Arizona Cardinals (-3 ½) vs Carolina Panthers

October 4, 1:00pm ET

The Arizona Cardinals (2-1) are a good team, but not a solid one. They lost against the Lions in Week 3 and QB Kyler Murray threw three interceptions.

DeAndre Hopkins continues to amaze (10 receptions, 137 yards in Week 3).

The Carolina Panthers (1-2) won their first game of the season without Christian McCaffrey. QB Teddy Bridgewater played well and K Joey Slye made five field goals to carry the team over.

The Panthers are 0-5 SU in their last 5 games at home.

New York Giants vs Los Angeles Rams (-13)

October 4, 4:05pm ET

The New York Giants (0-3) season is basically over. They lost Saquon Barkley for the rest of the year and signed free agent Devonta Freeman, but he’s going to need some time to become a good substitute.

QB Daniel Jones has thrown more interceptions (4) than touchdowns (2).

The Los Angeles Rams (2-1) have found two good running backs in Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson (114 yards and 1 touchdown in Week 3).

QB Jared Goff is playing better and WR Cooper Kupp (9 receptions, 107 yards, 1 touchdown in Week 3) is looking like himself again.

The Rams are 4-1 SU in their last five games at home.
