Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp is joined by Kevin Cuenca and Matt Zylbert to preview the NFL Draft, which takes place over three days from April 29-May 1 in Cleveland, Oh.
This year’s edition of the selection process will see 259 players selected over seven rounds, starting with the Jacksonville Jaguars and finishing with Mr. Irrelevant, the choice that currently belongs to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There are many ways to wager on the NFL Draft, plenty of props on the menu at BetUs.
The show, um, kicked off with a discussion of the quarterbacks, who will be the dominant players at the top of the draft.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the clock and will almost assuredly take Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who is projected as the franchise quarterback the franchise desperately needs.
Following Lawrence, the discussion turned to Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones, the other signal-callers expected to hear their names early. You can throw North Dakota State’s Trey Lance into the discussion.
Next up was a look at who the Cincinnati Bengals will choose in the fifth slot. Sapp likes Penei Sewell, a huge offensive lineman from Oregon, who would be the player to protect last year’s No. 1 pick Joe Burrow.
Burrow was injured during the season and has a huge scar on his knee to show for it. The Bengals need to find a way to protect their prized QB.
However, there is the chance the Bengals could look to reunite the former LSU Tiger with one of his college receivers, Ja’Marr Chase.
The first round will take place in its entirety on Thursday with 32 players being chosen. Commissioner Goodell will announce the choices and there will be players taken in expected places, surprises, and choices that make fans of teams scratch their heads and wonder what their teams are thinking.
Sapp and his co-hosts set up the NFL Draft and analyze some of the top talent available to NFL teams.
Who will the players be who change the destiny of their franchises? Who will be the stars? And who will be the big misses?
