Week 12 is still not finished because the Steelers and Ravens game has been pushed back for a third time — to 3:40 p.m. ET on Wednesday. If the game does kickoff at the strange scheduled afternoon time, then it will be the third NFL game played on a Wednesday.
There were plenty of strange headlines that came along with the NFL on Sunday including the 49ers learning they cannot play in San Francisco and need to play their home games elsewhere, and the Broncos playing a game without a quarterback. I couldn’t make this stuff up.
With Aaron Rodgers (33) joining Patrick Mahomes (30) and Russell Wilson (30) yesterday, the 2020 season is the first in NFL history to have 3 players with 30 Pass TD through Week 12. pic.twitter.com/QUfgjoqo6O

It is harder than ever to stay up-to-date with all the NFL roster and schedule changes that are happening every day because of Covid-19. There is no need to worry though because we have you covered at our Locker Room page. You can find every NFL matchup and a betting breakdown on every game each week. You can also find all your favorite online sports bets on America’s favorite sportbook.
Even with Week 12 still underway, it is not too early to start looking ahead at the Week 13 betting lines. Week 13 of the NFL season brings us five games with a spread of nine-points or more (and that’s without the Steelers-Football Team or Ravens-Cowboys games). There are five other games that have a spread of three points.
The games that caught my eye are the ones with large spreads. It’s always a fun gamble when there are a lot of points involved.
(1-10) Jaguars at (5-4) Vikings | Point Spread Pick
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Over/Under | Team Toals |
Jaguars | +9½ -110 | +350 | 52 -110o | 21 |
Vikings | -9½ -110 | -450 | 52 -110u | 30 |
The Jaguars are coming off one of their best games, against the (8-3) Browns last week. The Jags failed to score the game-tying 2-point conversion with 2:17 left on the clock after a four-yard James Robinson TD run that put the score at 27-25.
QB Mike Glennon (20-35, 235 yards, two TDs) performed well in his first start of the season for Jacksonville. Glennon seems to give the Jags their best chance to win games in the last quarter of the season.
The Vikings are coming off of a come-from-behind win over the (4-8) Panthers in Week 12. Carolina did a good job of bottling up Vikings’ RB Dalvin Cook — who is currently the NFL’s rushing yards leader.
The Vikings really struggled to get things going offensively partly because they were without their leading receiver Adam Thielen (COVID-19/reserve list). Thielen will also miss the matchup with the Jaguars next week, but it should be easier for Cook to find some holes against the Jags porous rush defense.
- The Vikings have been involved in three one-score games the past three weeks — against the Panther, Cowboys, and Bears (combined wins – 12).
- The Vikings are 2-5 at home this year.
- The Jaguars have also been in three one-score games in the past four weeks — against the Browns, Packers, and Texans (combined wins – 20).
Pick: Jaguars +9½ -110
(2-8-1) Bengals at (7-4) Dolphins | Point Spread Pick
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Over/Under | Team Toals |
Bengals | +11½ -110 | +410 | 42 -110o | 14½ |
Dolphins | -11½ -110 | -510 | 42 -110u | 27 |
The (2-8-1) Bengals were defeated at home 19-17 by the (4-7) Giants in Week 12. The Bengals will be without rookie-QB Joe Burrow the rest of the season and gave Brandon Allen the start. Allen was ineffective, (17-29,136 yards, one TD, one INT) in his fourth career start. The Bengals were aided by a 103-yard kick-return for a TD in the first quarter against the Giants.
The (7-4) Dolphins smothered the (0-11) Jets, 20-3 last week. Miami’s defense and special teams continue to create plays each and every week. Ryan Fitzpatrick got the start at quarterback last week because rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa was nursing a thumb injury.
Fitzpatrick provided a much-needed spark once again to Miami’s offense. The receivers on the Dolphins have not provided much separation or many explosive plays and they benefit from the veteran quarterback’s gunslinger style of play. Even so, coach Flores has made it clear that Tagovailoa is the starting QB when he is healthy. The Dolphins are expecting a boost in their run game when they get their leading rusher – Myles Gaskin back from the IR in Week 13.
- The Bengals are 7-4 against the spread with two of their losses coming in the past three weeks — against the Football Team and Steelers.
- Cincinnati has only received more than 11 points once this year and they did not cover — against the Ravens.
- The Dolphins are 8-3 against the spread this season. Miami has won four games by more than 11 points.
- The Dolphins’ defense ranks second in points allowed and should be able to limit the Bengals to 10 or fewer points.
Pick: Dolphins -11½ -110
(3-7-1) Eagles at (8-3) Packers | Point Spread Pick
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Over/Under | Team Toals |
Eagles | +9 -110 | NA | 47 -110o | 20 |
Packers | -9 -110 | NA | 47 -110u | 28 |
The (3-7-1) Eagles lost 23-17 to the (8-3) Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Eagles QB Carson Wentz leads the NFL in interceptions with 15. Even though the Eagles’ top-tier WRs, TEs and RBs are back healthy, Wentz continues to struggle to create any kind of rhythm for his offense. Now a half-game back in the NFC East, Philadelphia’s head coach Doug Peterson is on the hot seat as the organization expects to win this year.
The (8-3) Packers embarrassed their rivals from Chicago 41-25 last week at Lambeau Field. Aaron Rodgers and this healthy Packers’ offense has the ability to blow-out anyone. Rodgers makes it look easy against the Bears top-ranked defense.

The Packers have not been entirely on fire against the spread as of late. They lost in OT to the Colts in Week 11 and only beat the Jags by four in Week 10. The Packers got WR Allen Lazard and RB Aaron Jones back from injuries the past few weeks. Health and Rodgers are key for this team.
- Green Bay has the first-ranked scoring offense and the Eagles allow the 19 most amount of points in the NFL.
- The Packers are 7-4 against the spread — 3-2 AGS at home.
- The Eagles are 4-7 against the spread — 1-4 ATS on the road.
Pick: Packers -9 -110
