Last Game
The Rams snapped a two-game losing streak and reached the playoffs by getting past the Arizona Cardinals 18-7 in Week 17. Backup quarterback John Wolford replaced an injured Goff and had a pretty solid NFL debut by passing for 231 yards while adding 56 rushing yards to become the first player in NFL history to throw for 200 and rush for 50 in their debut.
Still, the big question heading into their Wild-Card clash is whether Goff will be under center after suffering a fractured right thumb in the Rams’ 20-9 Week 16 loss at Seattle on Dec. 27. Goff had surgery the following day and is questionable for this matchup, though head coach Sean McVay would not elaborate on who his starter will be.
“Jared is our starting quarterback — the reality is that he had a thumb surgery,” McVay said. “We’re monitoring that every single day, and that’s something we’re taking a day at a time, but the anticipation is both those guys are getting themselves ready to go.”
Stats Pack
The Rams finished the regular season ranked 11th in total offense, 13th in passing, 10th in rushing and 23rd in scoring (23.3 ppg). Defensively, LA finished first in fewest points, total yards, yards passing, touchdown passes and first downs allowed.
“We’re happy with what we accomplished as a unit,” Rams defensive end Morgan Fox said. “It was something that was in the back of our minds. Everything in the forefront was winning games and trying to be the best team that we could be, but it is a cool achievement. I think everyone kind of saw and noticed it, but everyone is focused on Seattle and winning everything. We’re pumped about it, but it’s not done.”
Trends
It certainly doesn’t bode well for the Rams that they’ve been limited to 20 points or less in each of their last three games and four times in their last six games overall.
NFL Injury Report
While Jared Goff is questionable for Saturday’s matchup, veteran left tackle Andrew Whitworth is set to return from a torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered against the Seahawks in their NFL Week 10 matchup on November 15.

Last Game
Seattle won four straight and six of its final seven, including a hard-fought 26-23 win over NFC West rival the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Russell Wilson passed for 181 yards and threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes to Tyler Lockett to help the Seahawks rally from a 10-point, second-half deficit. Lockett finished with a franchise-record 100 catches.
“I’m really fired up that we continue to be a finishing club and we find ways to do it,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.
Wilson showed his leadership by changing a play in the final minute to help wide receiver David Moore reach a $100,,000 bonus by getting his 35th catch of the season.
“It’s a blessing to be able to help family, his daughter and all that stuff. So we wanted to get him that catch, and we were able to dial that up for him that last play,” Wilson said
Stats Pack
Seattle finished the regular season ranked 17th in total offense, 16th in passing, 12th in rushing and 8th in scoring (28.7 ppg). Defensively, the Seahawks finished the regular season ranked 22nd overall, 31st against the pass, a stellar 5th against the run and 15th in points allowed (23.2 ppg).

Trends
The Seahawks held five of their final six opponents to 20 points or less and would have made it six straight had they not allowed San Francisco to score a touchdown with 23 seconds remaining in their Week 17 win on Sunday.
“Where we were at the beginning of season to where we are at now is night and day, but we’ve got to keep it up,” Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner said.
Injury Report
Star safety Jamal Adams, who set an NFL record for sacks by a defensive back with 9.5, is questionable after suffering a left shoulder injury in the second half of the regular-season finale. Adams and defensive tackle Jarran Reed (oblique), who was second on the team with 6.5 sacks, have missed practice time this week.

Betting on the Game
With the Rams struggling to score and Seattle playing lights out defense the last several weeks, I wouldn’t expect LA to put a bunch of points on the board.
