As we head into Thanksgiving Week, the BetUS Sportsbook focuses on 8 teams in prime position to vie for victory in Super Bowl LV. It’s going to be an interesting final few weeks of the regular season, and keep in mind:14 teams will make the postseason once January 2021 arrives. Let’s take a look at the updated Super Bowl Odds following the online sports betting action in Week 11.
Kansas City Chiefs +250
Patrick Mahomes had just under 2:00 left to lead the Kansas City Chiefs back on Sunday Night, and needed just over 1:00 of it. The defending champions beat the Las Vegas Raiders to get avenge their lone loss. The defense will have to be improved if they want to win enough postseason games. But, the offense is outstanding. There are not opposing defenses that have the firepower to slow down this Kansas City offense.
Pittsburgh Steelers +500
Mike Tomlin’s players keep finding ways to win. In Week 11’s NFL matchup, they made quick and easy work of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The offense is passing like crazy with three incredible receiving options. James Conner has not been anything but just okay for the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ offense. Of course, it would not be a Pittsburgh team without a standout defense. The Steelers are a game ahead of Kansas City for the top seed in the AFC Super Bowl future odds, which would give them a first-round bye and home-field for AFC playoff games.
New Orleans Saints +750
Sean Payton and his New Orleans Saints may have lost their legendary quarterback Drew Brees to an injury, but they still are loaded with talent. The Saints are the top seed in the NFC, and that’s bad news for the rest of the teams trying to get to a Super Bowl. New Orleans is a tough place to play. The Saints lead Seattle and Green Bay for that top spot following their win over the Falcons in an NFL Week 11 matchup. The Saints have won 7 straight games as they head to three straight road games; against the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +750
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took one on the chin in Monday Night’s NFL matchup, and fell to 7-4. While they still have a Wild-Card spot, they are not in as great of shape. They are tied with Arizona, with Chicago trying to catch them. Tampa Bay faces the Kansas City Chiefs in a tough Week 12 matchup.
Green Bay Packers +1000
The Green Bay Packers let one get away in Indianapolis. Green Bay, with its loss kept the door open for the Bears in the divisional race. Green Bay and the Chicago Bears will meet up on Sunday Night Football in Week 12. The Packers could all but slam the door with a win. Green Bay has to be a little concerned about their defense, as they had a tough time stopping an average Indianapolis Colts offense.
Seattle Seahawks +1100
Pete Carroll and his Seattle Seahawks came away with a monster Thursday Night Football win over the Arizona Cardinals. The win put them a game ahead of Arizona at the top of the division and tied with the Rams. Russell Wilson is likely in the Top 3 in the Most Valuable Player voting with his ability to launch the football, and also on the ground. The Seahawks defense continues to improve as well.
Baltimore Ravens +1600
The Baltimore Ravens are going through some rough patches, and at 6-4, are hanging on to the edge of a playoff spot. Lamar Jackson is suddenly at a crossroads as an NFL quarterback, and needs to improve his play. The Ravens are still getting a lot of love with oddsmakers, but at +1600 – still places them 7th overall in Super Bowl future odds.
Los Angeles Rams +1700
What a big win for the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. The Rams went to Tampa Bay and beat Tom Brady and the Buccaneers. The win for Los Angeles pushed them to 7-3, and now in a tie with Seattle. Jared Goff is going to have to limit the turnovers if he wants to get to his second Super Bowl in three seasons.
Let the games continue! Have a great Thanksgiving week, and we are excited for the tripleheader of action!
