New England Patriots (5-2) vs Buffalo Bills (2-5)
Monday, October 29th – 8:15pm ET – New Era Field
Betting Line: TBD
The New England Patriots vs the Buffalo Bills is the biggest mismatch of Week 8 in the NFL. The Patriots own this series. They’re 26-4 SU vs the Bills since 2003. The Pats are also 18-10-2 ATS in those games.
Things haven’t fared much better for the Bills at home. New England has won 13 of the last 14 games at Buffalo, including the last six straight. They’re on a 4-0 ATS streak on the road against the Bills. Things haven’t even been close when New England visits Buffalo. In their current six game streak, the Pats have outscored Buffalo by 85 points.
New England has won their last four games against quality competition. The streak began in Week 4 against the Dolphins when the Patriots won 38-7. Since then, they’ve defeated the Colts, Chiefs, and Da Bears.
There’s no reason this game should even be competitive. The Pats should roll through Buffalo without much of a struggle.
Buffalo has had a slew of problems. The passing offense has been nothing short of pedestrian. Through seven games, they’ve tallied only 738 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. They’ve allowed an NFL-worse 24 sacks. Did I mention that Buffalo has started three different quarterbacks this season?
Things have only gotten worse for the Bills. Quarterback Derek Anderson was seen limping through the locker room following Sunday’s 37-5 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Running back LeSean McCoy has entered the NFL’s concussion protocol which leaves the Bills even more depleted on offense.
Bet on New England to cover vs Buffalo in Week 8 in the NFL. There’s no saving grace for the Bills.
