Tis’ the season for end of year online sports betting, and spreading holiday cheer. NFL betting is especially sweet as playoff races heat up and contenders come out swinging. This matchup between AFC East rivals only includes one team which is capable of reaching the playoffs this season (Miami). However, the upcoming Dolphins at Jets game is loaded with great gambling opportunities.
NY hung tight vs Los Angeles in Week 11, but ultimately lost 34-28. Miami tripped up in Denver last week, losing 20-13 after winning five in a row. These types of hiccups happen, and the Dolphins have a great chance to get back in the win column. Miami must be licking their chops ahead of this Sunday afternoon matchup with NY in MetLife Stadium.
As of this writing, the NFL odds on our sportsbook show the Dolphins as seven-point road favorites. The Jets haven’t won a single game this season, and are operating with a skeleton crew. NY lurks as a potential spoiler, as Miami is only one game out of first place in the AFC East.
Game: Miami Dolphins (6-4) at NY Jets (0-10) Location: MetLife Stadium Time: Sunday, 1 p.m. ET Television: CBS |
NFL Betting Lines
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Over/Under | Team Total |
Dolphins | -7 | -300 | 44 ½ | 24 |
Jets | +7 | +250 | 44 ½ | 17 |
Moneyline:
Miami Dolphins -300 (6-4) | New York Jets +250 (0-10)
The Dolphins have won five of their last six games, and are a virtual lock to beat the Jets senseless. NY showed up against LA last week but doesn’t currently have the personnel to compete at a high level. The BetUS sportsbook is offering +150 on the Jets odds to finish 0-16, which is an excellent bet right now. If the -300 Miami moneyline is too steep for your blood, consider placing a chunk of change on NY’s misery.
The #Dolphins have downgraded Tua Tagovailoa to doubtful. It’ll be Ryan Fitzpatrick against the #Jets.

Pick: Dolphins to win
Point Spread:
Miami Dolphins -7 (7-3) | New York Jets -7 (3-7)
Miami is one of the best teams ATS this season, while NY is just 3-7 despite being heavy underdogs often. The Dolphins shutout the Jets 24-0 back in mid-October, and are 5-0-1 ATS against them over their last six contests. Miami should pound NY, covering the seven-point spread with relative ease.
Pick: Dolphins -7
Over/Under 44 ½ points: Dolphins (4-6) | Jets (5-5)
The Jets offense is nothing to write home about, and the Dolphins sport the NFL’s fourth-best defense. NY’s D ranks near the bottom, but Miami QB Tua Tagovailo (thumb) is hurting and the backfield is banged up. Additionally, the under is 4-1 in the previous five meetings between these divisional rivals.
