Tis’ the season for rampant online sports betting, and betting slips bulging with winners. NFL betting is especially sweet this time of year, as playoff races heat up and contenders come out guns blazing. This particular matchup between the Green Bay Packers (7-2) and the Indianapolis Colts (6-3) is loaded with potential.
In a clash of division leaders, the Packers’ third-ranked offense faces the Colts’ fourth-ranked defense. Green Bay has won two straight, and three out of four, although they needed to engineer a fourth-quarter comeback last week against Jacksonville. Aaron Rodgers hit WR Davante Adams with a short TD strike to take the lead for good, winning 24-20. The Packers survived a scare in Lambeau Field, that many will forget.
The Colts crushed the Titans 34-17 in Tennessee during Week 10, and have quietly won three of four as well. Indy’s offense tallied 430 total yards in the game, and its stout D terrorized Titans’ QB, Ryan Tannehill, all night. In what will resemble a heavyweight prizefight, our sportsbook shows the Colts as 1½ -point home favorites over the Packers.

NFL Betting Lines
|Team||Point Spread||Moneyline||Over/Under||Team Total|
|Packers||+1 ½||+105||51||24 ½|
Moneyline: Packers +105 (7-2) | Colts -125 (6-3)
This should prove to be an excellent game, with the Indianapolis D coming up short in the fourth quarter. Aaron Rodgers orchestrates yet another game-winning drive, outdueling Colts’ signal-caller Philip Rivers. In four games as a starter vs the Packers, Rivers is 1-3, and he’ll walk off the field with a bad taste in his mouth after this one.
Pick: Packers to win
Point Spread: Packers +1½ (6-3) | Colts -1½ (5-4)
Green Bay is 6-3 ATS over its previous nine contests, and will beat Indy outright, so the points are bonus. The Packers are 4-1 ATS on the road this season, while the Colts are 2-2 ATS in Lucas Oil Stadium. Indy will be batting .500 against the spread after this one.
Pick: Packers +1½
Over/Under 51 points: Packers (5-4) | Colts (5-4)
The total has been under in four of the Packers’ last six games. Meanwhile, the over has hit in four of the Colts’ previous five games. All of this basically adds up to a wash, and that’s where I’ve landed with my point total prediction here. Unless the total moves off of 51 before kickoff, don’t bother touching it.
Final Score: Packers 27, Colts 24
Props Talk for Packers at Colts
Sports betting gives you the opportunity to watch your stock investments perform in the flesh, and prop bets are porn. Prop bets exponentially add to viewing enjoyment and let you get funky on your betting slip. Here are a few opportunities to get your freak on for this Week 11 matchup between the Packers and Colts.
First Scoring Play: Packers Any Other Score (+5000)
Let’s have some fun with this and chase the big money right out of the gate. There have been eight safeties recorded this season, and three of them were generated by Green Bay and Indianapolis. LB Justin Houston and DT DeForest Buckner each notched a safety for the Colts, and CB Jaire Alexander recorded one for the Pack.
I’m predicting the Green Bay D to bottle up the rickety Indy offense, kicking off the scoring with two points. Perhaps DL Kenny Clark gets the job done. Even if you only put $5 on this wild wager, you’ll win $250 when it hits. A $20 hit gets you a grand.
Winning Margin: Packers To Win By 1-3 Points (+650)
Admittedly, the safety prop is a tough act to follow. However, +650 is a robust moneyline for a margin of victory that seems quite reasonable. If someone were to wager, let’s say, $25 on this prop and nail it, they’d rake in $162.50. It’s time to go head hunting.
Total Points Scored: 50-56 Points (+375)
If you agree with my final score prediction and the total points line doesn’t move from 51, here’s an option. You can still drill the bookmakers for some bank through this total points prop. A successful bet of $33 will boost your betting booty by $123.75. Sometimes you have to shoot from deep, like Larry Bird draining a game-winning three. Be a legend.
