The San Francisco 49ers might have suffered more significant injuries than any other team in the league but the NFC West cellar dwellers still have hope! Currently, in a three-way tie for the seventh and final spot in the NFC playoffs, the now-desperate Niners will look to pull off the huge sportsbook betting upset when they play host to Buffalo in Week 13 on Monday night.

Buffalo Bills (7-3) | San Francisco 49ers (7-3)
The Bills have won four of five and come into this contest fresh off a 27-17 win over the LA Chargers. Buffalo covered the chalk as a 4.5-point home favorite as quarterback Josh Allen passed and rushed for one score while the Bills rolled up 172 rushing yards in the win. Now, the Bills are sitting at the same 8-3 mark they had a year ago. This time around, Buffalo wants to avoid a repeat of their uninspiring 2-3 finish over their last five.
Can Buffalo’s Josh Allen get back in the mix to win the 2020 NFL MVP award?
“I like where we are; I like the way we’re improving through the course of the season,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said. “I think there always is a gap between where we are and where we’re trying to get to. We’re always in pursuit of it. I think that’s a healthy approach and that’s really where we are with this year’s team. Last year is in the past.”
San Francisco snapped a three-game losing streak by upsetting the Rams 23-20 last weekend. Raheem Mostert rushed for 43 yards and one score while defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw added a 27-yard interception return for another score.
The 49ers got back wide receiver Deebo Samuel and Mostert from injuries against the Rams, and are expected to have wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk back this week from his COVID-19 imposed absence.
“Just getting all these guys back, it just brings some continuity to everyone,” San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said. “I know it’s a lot easier for the quarterbacks, too.”
While Frisco is a bit healthier than they’ve been in a few weeks, this neutral-site game at Arizona’s home stadium has the look and feel of a game the Bills should win.
While the Niners still have a stout defense, quarterback Nick Mullens is mediocre at best. With the big edge at quarterback, I like Josh Allen and the Bills to take care of business in this matchup.
Pick: Bills to Win
Buffalo Bills (6-5) | San Francisco 49ers (5-6)
While Buffalo has gone 9-4-2 ATS in their last 15 road games, the Bills are also just 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 road games against a team with a losing home record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record.

San Francisco has gone 13-3 ATS in their last 16 Monday games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games against a team with a winning road record. Stil, with the spread set at just 1-point, Buffalo is the pick to cover!

Over/Under 47 points:
Buffalo Bills (7-3-1) | San Francisco 49ers (5-6)
Buffalo is ranked 25th in total offense, 7th in passing, 21st in rushing and 10th in scoring (27.2 ppg). Defensively, the Bills are ranked 21st overall, 18th against the pass, 25th against the run and 18th in points allowed (25.6 ppg).
San Francisco is ranked 14th in total offense, 12th in passing, 16th in rushing and 20th in scoring (23.7 ppg). Defensively, the 49ers are ranked an impressive sixth overall, 4th against the pass, 10th against the run and 11th in points allowed (23.1 ppg).
While the Over is 3-1-1 in Buffalo’s last five road games and 7-3-1 in the Bills’ last 11 games overall, the Under is 2-0 in the 49ers last two games and 5-2 in Frisco’s last seven games as an underdog. I think we’re in for a low-scoring affair in this one!

The Niners have been limited to 23 points or less in three straight games while Buffalo has scored 27 or more in each of its last three games.
Total TDs in the Game Over/Under 5½
Over 5½ TDs +125
Under 5½ TDs -155
In keeping with my thought process that this one is going to be a relatively low-scoring affair, I’m going to say the Under looks like the best pick here. Buffalo scores three times to San Francisco’s pair of touchdowns!

Total Field Goals in the Game
Over 3½ -115
Under 3½ -115
I like both teams’ respective defenses to force the others’ offense to largely struggle. The end result should produce several field goal attempts. The Over looks good to me!
