Will the Las Vegas Raiders mostly inept defense show up in order to keep eye-opening LA Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert in check on Thursday night?

Where: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, NV
TV: FOX/NFL
With Las Vegas coming off an embarrassing loss and Los Angeles looking to build on its last-second win in Week 14, let’s find out which NFL props odds are looking good! First, I will give you a couple I really like to hit and then give you a list of which ones you should save your money on and double down on something else instead. Total TDs In the Game
Over 6½ TDs +110
Under 6½ TDs -140
I’m completely and utterly expecting a high-scoring affair between these two longtime AFC West rivals on Thursday night. The Chargers and Raiders give up a combined 57.9 points per game defensively and I expect the final score in this matchup to reflect that. Both teams either approach or top the 30-point plateau in a Week 15 matchup that looks like a shootout just waiting to happen!
Pick: Over
Derek Carr To Have 3+ Passing TDs and Vegas to Win
Yes +175
Carr has thrown at least three touchdown passes four times this season, but he was limited to two TD passes in Vegas’ 31-26 road win over the Chargers in Week 9. This time around, I like Carr to toss three touchdowns, plus I have the Raiders winning at home! I think the ‘Yes’ selection looks good here!
Pick: Yes

Justin Herbert to Have 2+ Passing TDs and LA to Win
Yes +140
The prohibitive favorite to win the 2021 NBA Offensive Rookie of the Year has been absolutely phenomenal in his first season in the league.Herbert has thrown three touchdowns four times this season while tossing two TD passes in three other games including the Chargers 31-26 Week 9 home loss against Vegas.
The Raiders are ranked a dismal 25th against the pass and 30th in points allowed (30.1 ppg). While I like Herbert to toss at least two touchdown passes in this matchup, I like Vegas to scratch out the narrow win at home to keep their faint playoff hopes alive.

Justin Herbert to Have 300+ Passing Yards and LA To Win
Yes +275
The 6-6 Herbert has had six 300-yard passing games and two more games with at least 275 yards. Herbert passed for a stellar 326 yards against Vegas in Week 9 and I believe he will duplicate that feat in this Week 15 pairing. Again though, I’ve got Vegas getting the narrow win, so I think Herbert fails in this NFL props odds double.

Derek Carr To Have 300+ Passing Yards and Las Vegas to win
Yes +175
Carr has thrown for at least 300 yards four times this season and comes into this matchup off of consecutive 300 yards outings against the Jets and Colts. Still, the Chargers rank an encouraging seventh against the pass by allowing just 217.1 passing yards per contest. The Bolts limited Carr to just 165 passing yards in Week 9 and I like LA to keep Carr from reaching the 300-yard plateau for the second time this season.
Pick: Don’t take this bet

Will There Be A Defensive or Special Teams TD
Yes +200
No -250
Let’s see….the Chargers are ranked 26th in points allowed (27.8 ppg) while the Raiders rank an awful 30th by giving up 30.1 points per game. With that said, I just don’t see any defensive player scoring a touchdown in this Week 15 matchup. The Bolts and Raiders do have speedy kick returners, so it could happen. However, my best guess is that no player scores a special teams TD either!
Pick: Don’t take this bet
