Betting on Props is another way to win, and you don’t need to worry about what team wins. Our online BetUS sportsbook has many NFL Prop markets to enjoy, ranging from First Touchdown Scorer to First Turnover of the Game.
BetUS online betting allows you to make any number of NFL Prop bets, so let’s look at the best values for Bears at Saints.
Player To Score First Touchdown
New Orleans possesses a lethal offensive team, so it comes as no surprise to see three Saints’ players listed at odds less than +1000.
Heading the NFL Props market is running back Alvin Kamara, who had a career-high 16 rushing touchdowns during the regular season. It bettered his previous record of 14 touchdowns in 2018, so he’s in fine form. He added five receiving TDs.
The Saints have to be hoping Kamara is back from COVID-19 related illness but won’t know until Sunday whether he has passed all the protocols.
See y’all Sunday ❤️
— Alvin Kamara (@A_kamara6) January 8, 2021
His form noticeably drops off in the playoffs, but he is a more mature player in 2021, and we think he can score the first touchdown against the Bears.
We expect coach Sean Payton to use the running game in the first quarter, playing into the hands of First Touchdown Scorer bettors.
Prediction: Alvin Kamara at +450
Player To Score First Bears Touchdown
Scoring has been a struggle for the Bears but one player will be desperate to score against this old team.
Jimmy Graham was traded by the Saints in 2015, and his numbers have never quite been the same. However, the soft-spoken tight end could have a significant impact for the Bears.
Graham comes off an eight-touchdown regular season, which pales in comparison to his 16 touchdowns for New Orleans in 2013, but what better way to get back at your old team than to score.
He is a sizable target for Mitchell Trubisky, and it would be a shame not to see him being targeted early.
Bettors get value odds for Graham in the NFL Props market.
Prediction: Jimmy Graham at +600
Longest Field Goal
Prop bets are always fun, but there is value to be had with this betting option. The current line set at BetUS Online is 45.5 yards, which is well within reach of Saints’ kicker Will Lutz.
During the 17-game regular season, Lutz kicked a total of 23 field goals from 28 attempts. Of those 23 makes, three of them were from more than 45.5 yards.
His biggest kick came against the Chargers in New Orleans when he hit a 53-yard field goal in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Playing in a dome helps Lutz, and he also showed off his leg against the Panthers in Week 17.
Lutz kicked a 48-yard FG in Carolina, so we are confident he can get the job done. Bears kicker, Cairo Santos, is always capable of kicking it long.
He has kicked 50+ yards in five seasons to date, so the odds are in our favor.
Prediction: Over 45.5 yards at -120
Highest Scoring Half
Predicting the highest-scoring half isn’t always easy, but the Bears and Saints often fire in the first half.
We expect both offenses to flex their muscles from the outset, which could result in three or four first-half touchdowns.
Look for Drew Brees to get the running game going early, which should allow for pass action later in the first and second quarters. If the Bears’ defense has a slip-up, it could be a big scoring half.
The Bears’ best time to score is in the first half before the Saints’ defense has had a chance to settle. Mitchell Trubisky can throw passes downfield, and he might feel the need to keep up with Drew Brees.
Prediction: 1st Half at -130
