Clevelandmiraculously defeated Pittsburgh in back-to-back games, staying alive to live and fight another day. The Browns are 10-point underdogs against a Chiefs team that has been resting on their laurels.
Between the first-round bye and the Week 17 laydown vs the L.A. Chargers, K.C. hasn’t played meaningful football in weeks. Even when the games mattered, the Chiefs were barely skating by, posting a +3.85 margin of victory during Weeks 9-16. The Chiefs are 1-6 ATS over their previous seven games, and the Browns are not a weak opponent.
I still believe that the Kansas City Chiefs will win this game, but it’s a dangerous matchup for the defending champs. The Chiefs’ run defense ranked 31st this season, and Browns’ RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt (ex-Chief) are rolling hard. Cleveland’s dynamic rushing duo will keep the Browns nipping at the Chiefs’ heels right until the clock runs out.

Look how spoiled we are in the Sunday nightcap. We have the privilege of enjoying an epic battle between two of the greatest all-time QBs, with everything at stake. There’s no guarantee that Tom Brady or Drew Brees will play another season, and they’ll slug it out for survival.
Loads of drama and intrigue, right? Yes and no. The thing is, we’ve already seen this matchup twice, and theTampa Bay Buccaneers were beaten both times. The Bucs were humiliated the second time, as they were smashed by the Saints 38-3 on their own turf in Week 9.
TheNew Orleans Saints swept the regular-season series with Tampa Bay by a total score of 72-26. Brady played relatively poorly in both of these matchups, throwing two total touchdowns while tossing five interceptions. Meanwhile, Brees fired six TDs against the Buccaneers, without throwing a single interception.
The Buccaneers have won five straight and are playing better lately, but it’s not enough to win or cover here. Tampa Bay is banged up. Even if WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and RB Ronald Jones II suit up, they aren’t playing at 100%. The Saints walloped theChicago Bears 21-9 in their Wild Card game last week, not having much trouble.
New Orleans is 7-1 ATS over the previous eight games in which it was the favorite.
The Saints’ D has been clamping down and New Orleans will control the game. The “Who Dats” previous two games have gone under and this one will as well.
