Head-to-Head
Both are in the AFC playoff race — the BIlls have won the division and are trying to get the second seed, and the Miami Dolphins are one of four teams looking to lock up one of the three Wild-Card spots.
There is much to play for in this Week 17 game, with Miami needing it more. The Dolphins will try to snap a four-game losing streak in the series. Miami has dropped six of its last seven meetings to the Bills, so keep that in mind when making a bet online on this game.

Last Game
It took benching quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and inserting Ryan Fitzpatrick to spark the Dolphins offense, but Miami got the win, 26-25 over the Las Vegas Raiders. It was a back-and-forth affair in the fourth quarter that saw the Raiders go up 22-16 with less than four minutes to go. The Dolphins answered, with running back Myles Gaskin taking a short pass to the house to go up 23-22 with 2:55 left on the clock.
The Raiders proceeded to drive down the field before taking a knee near the goal line to take time off the clock. The Raiders hit a field goal to go up 25-23 with just 19 seconds left in the game. But Fitzpatrick drove the Dolphins down the field, aided by a 15-yard facemask penalty, and Jason Sanders was able to kick a field goal as time expired.
Stats Pack
Running back Myles Gaskin returned to the lineup in a big way for Miami. Gaskin finished with 169 total yards and two receiving touchdowns, averaging nearly nine yards per touch. Gaskin is one of the key playmakers on this Dolphins team and should be a focal point of the Week 17 NFL matchup against Buffalo.
Trends
In the Dolphins’ NFL matchup with Las Vegas, tight end Mike Gesicki led the team in targets, with seven0. Without playing Week 15, Gesicki leads this receiving group in targets the last four weeks.

Last Game
The Bills handled business against the rival New England Patriots on Monday night, winning 38-9. It was another display of the offensive firepower, with the Josh Allen-Stefon Diggs connection at full force.
Diggs caught nine balls for 145 yards, scoring three times. Allen also threw for a touchdown to tight end Lee Smith. The Bills defense held the Patriots in check, holding starter Cam Newton to just 34 yards passing.
Stats Pack
The Bills combined for 130 rushing yards. Rookie running back Zack Moss led the way with 12 carries for 57 yards and one touchdown. Devin Singletary had 36 yards, and Allen tacked on 35 of his own.
Trends
Moss has led the running back room in carries the last three weeks and has seemingly emerged as the 1A option to Singletary’s 1B. If you’re looking for a Buffalo runner in Week 17, start with the rookie.

Dolphins vs Bills Week 17 Betting Predictions: Betting on the Game
Point Spread
When looking at the NFL odds for this one, the Bills are the superior team and would still like the number two seed in the AFC playoffs. The Dolphins have been the best team against the spread in the NFL, so with a playoff berth on the line, this should be an entertaining game.
Moneyline
Since the beginning of 2017, Buffalo has Miami’s number, winning six of the last seven matchups. At home, the Bills are 6-1, while the Dolphins are 5-2 on the road.
Over/Under
Looking at our NFL picks on the over/under, the Bills offense is humming, scoring an average of 30 points per game. With a line set at 44½, I prefer the over with a strong offense like this.
