Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Green Bay Packers Parlay Preview
When: Sunday, January 24, 3:05 pm, ET
Where: Lambeau Field, Wisconsin
Green Bay showed why it’s the most underrated team this season when beating the Los Angeles Rams last week. Despite facing one of the best defenses in the NFL, the Packers put up 32 points.
Leading the charge is MVP favorite, Aaron Rodgers, who is having some sort of season. The quarterback has shown 48 touchdowns with only five interceptions, which is off-the-charts numbers.
Compare that to Tom Brady, who is the greatest of all time, but he has thrown 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. This will likely be a quarterback-heavy game, so those numbers are important.
We have to give Tampa Bay its respect. Its win over New Orleans was tough, especially after being behind early in the game. However, facing the Packers won’t be the same.
Green Bay has a stout running game, which averaged 134.4 yards per game. Tampa Bay averages 94.9 yards per game, so the offense is firmly put on the shoulders of Tom Brady.
He can handle the pressure, but playoff games favor the more balanced teams. That’s where Green Bay has the advantage, and it’s why they should win on Sunday.
We expect a low-scoring game with Green Bay coming out on top. A scoreline of 28-17 is our prediction, so take the Packers -3.5, and the Under 51 in your Conference Championship Parlay.
Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs Parlay Preview
When: Sunday, January 24, 6:40 pm, ET
Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
Most of the talk during the week has been about the health of Patrick Mahomes. It looks as though he will play quarterback for the Chiefs on Sunday, but we don’t think the Bills will be too worried.
Buffalo has been an excellent team for bettors this season, and the value comes calling again this week. The Bills are the outsiders to win at Arrowhead Stadium, and we’re not surprised, given it faces the defending Super Bowl champions.
However, Mahomes hasn’t been as electric as usual of late, mostly due to some niggling leg injuries. Coming back from a concussion won’t help either, so Chiefs’ bettors are taking a risk.
We favor Buffalo to bring the game to Kansas City, and it will be led by Josh Allen. Despite throwing 10 interceptions this season, Allen has been dynamic. His ability to escape the pocket and throw downfield has enabled this offense to average 31.3 points per game.
That’s more points than Kansas City, and the Buffalo defense allows only 13.5 points per game. In what should be the biggest talking point of its win over Baltimore, the Bills held the Ravens to just three points.
Holding Lamar Jackson and the Ravens to three points in a Divisional Round playoff game was incredible, and it shouldn’t be overlooked. If Buffalo can produce a similar defensive performance, Kansas City will be in real trouble.
We think Buffalo wins the game, but take the +3 for safety. We also think Buffalo scores plenty of points, which could see this game go under 54 points. The total is set in the high range, and we think Buffalo’s defense is too good to allow that many points.
