If you are still alive in yours, this will be an NFL Survivor Pool Guide pick for Week 7 that should be much easier than last week’s Patriots loss. Kudos to those of you still going for the big cash, and, hopefully, this can help you get that money!
This looks like a week that may knock out a lot of people left because many of these games have close odds at BetUS.com. This pick is one that anybody left will probably not be on. It is also a strong pick that shouldn’t keep you worried while you are watching it.
Keep an eye on Week 7 NFL Odds at BetUS.com because if betting lines are moving a lot, that means a lopsided amount of money is being bet on one side. Experience says that usually the side to stick on is the side of the sportsbook odds that the big money is going on.
The Detroit Lions face the Atlanta Falcons in the game to play and it had small line movement early but not enough to sway anything. Both teams won last week which is quite an accomplishment as Atlanta earned its first victory a week after firing head coach Dan Quinn, and Detroit got its second win. The Falcons are ranked No. 24 and the Lions are ranked 26th in my Week 7 NFL Power Rankings at BetUS.
A Winning Streak?
This is not a good team, and Patricia is not a good head coach. The offensive key for Detroit is Matthew Stafford throwing to Kenny Golladay like last week when they were effective. The problem is that Atlanta will try to take that away because once that is shut down, the whole team is in trouble.
The Detroit Lions smashed the Jacksonville Jaguars last week 34-16, which proved how lacking the Jags are in the way of offense. Keelan Cole had his way with the Detroit secondary, catching six passes for 143 yards. Since he is the only guy to watch these days this proves much the Lions’ secondary sucks. Now that they are playing at Atlanta with a healthy Julio Jones, this is going to be big trouble.
D’Andre Swift finally let loose and ran for 116 yds and two touchdowns but slow down on that. Patricia loves to use three running backs, so don’t expect him to take off when they face the Falcons.
Morris Gets Dirty Birds in Gear
The Falcons finally got a victory after interim head coach Raheem Morris took the reins by defeating the Minnesota Vikings 40-23. This is the first game that it appeared all that loaded talent on the team finally got together, and against the lowly Lions it should happen again and bring victory for this Survivor Pool Guide for a Week 7 pick.
The biggest plus and a big reason that the Falcons are your Survivor Pool pick is that Jones finally played healthy. He sat out for almost all of the last three games, and it really paid off. This is a blow-up spot for Julio, and cornerback Desmond Trufant will likely be out again this week, which means nobody is keeping up with the Jones!
Matt Ryan was 30-for-40 while throwing for 371 passing yards and four touchdowns, and you can bet those numbers will be similar against a Lions defense that can be pummeled. Also, Ryan had no interceptions last week and is a different man in there when a healthy Jones plays. JJ caught eight passes for 137 yards, and he should get into the end zone multiple times in what should be a great victory.
Pick for Week 7
The Atlanta Falcons finally got a taste for what it is like to win finally in this NFL season with the entire team clicking. The biggest factor to get on the Falcons for Survivor Pools and NFL betting is a healthy Jones. The Atlanta Falcons should give you what you need to advance in your NFL Survivor Pools and get a chance at that big money.
