Soccer Betting Odds

This week the European soccer leagues are on fire. The English Premier League is tighter than ever; AC Milan remain at the top of the Italian Serie A (undefeated); there are no more unbeaten teams over La Liga (Spain); and both the Bundesliga (Germany) and Ligue 1 (France) have a new sheriff in town.

Let’s take a look at what has happened in recent weeks and how the sports betting odds to win it all have changed.

Premier League (England)

  • Reigning champions: Liverpool
  • Current First Place: Tottenham

Last weekend, both Tottenham and Liverpool drew, which gave Leicester City and Southampton the opportunity to close the gap at the top.

Tottenham (25 points) drew 1-1 against Crystal Palace; Harry Kane scored again. Liverpool (25 points) also drew 1-1 against Fulham; Mohamed Salah saved the day with a successful penalty kick.

Leicester City took advantage of all that to climb to third place (just one point behind Tottenham and Liverpool). The “Foxes” beat Brighton 3-0; James Maddison scored twice, and Jamie Vardy scored his tenth goal of the season.

Southampton (23 points) beat Sheffield United 3-0 with goals from Che Adams, Stuart Armstrong, and Nathan Redmond.

Other Contenders

Chelsea (22 points) had first place at reach, but they lost 1-0 against Everton.

Manchester United vs Manchester City finished 0-0. The “Red Devils” (20 points) are in eighth place and the “Citizens” are in ninth (19 points), but they have played one game less than the top seven.

Believe it or not, Arsenal (13 points) is just five points away from the relegation zone. The “Gunners” have lost three games in a row.

To Be Relegated

Right now, Fulham (eight points), Albion (six points), and Sheffield United (one point) are at the bottom of the English Premier League.

Sheffield United are the only one that haven’t won a single game (0-1-11), but Albion have allowed more goals (25) than any other team.

Burnley (nine points) and Brighton (ten points) are dangerously close to the relegation zone.

Midweek and Next Weekend Best Games

The English Premier League action returns Wednesday. Leicester City will play host to Everton, but the best-scheduled game is Liverpool vs Tottenham.

On Thursday, Manchester United will be on the road against Sheffield United.

Next Saturday, Liverpool will be on the road against Crystal Palace, who recently managed to tie against Tottenham.

Southampton will play host to Manchester City, and Tottenham will play host to Leicester City.

Odds to win the English Premier League Title

As reigning champions and co-leaders, Liverpool remain at the top of the odds to win the English Premier League with a +175 value. Manchester City come next at +200, and they are followed by Chelsea and Tottenham at +500.

Serie A (Italy)

  • Reigning champions: Juventus
  • Current First Place: AC Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimović has been sidelined due to injury, but AC Milan have managed to remain unbeaten (8-3-0). Nevertheless, Inter Milan are just three points behind.

AC Milan come from a tough draw (2-2) against Parma, while Inter Milan won their fourth domestic game in a row (3-1 against Cagliari) to climb to second place with 24 points.

They already faced each other, and AC Milan won 2-1.

What about Napoli and other contenders?

Napoli won their third straight game (2-1 against Sampdoria) to climb to third place with 23 points.

Juventus (6-5-0) also have 23 points, but they have won only three of their last five domestic games. Last weekend they beat Genoa 3-1 thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo (who scored twice) and Paulo Dybala.

Sassuolo returned to the winning column after beating Benevento 1-0. They are in fifth place with 22 points.

Relegation

Torino (six points), Genoa (six points) and Crotone (five points) are at the bottom of the Italian Serie A, but Crotone come from their first victory (4-1 against Spezia).

Fiorentina (nine points) and Spezia (ten points) are dangerously close to the relegation zone. Fiorentina haven’t won in their last five games, while Spezia haven’t won in their last four games.

Midweek and Next Weekend Best Games

The Italian Serie A action also returns on Wednesday with Juventus vs Atalanta as the most interesting matchup.

AC Milan will be on the road against Genoa, while Inter Milan will play host to Napoli.

Next weekend, Juventus will be on the road against Parma. AC Milan will have a tougher matchup against Sassuolo; Inter Milan will be at home once again to play host to Spezia.

Last but not least, Lazio will play host to Napoli in Rome.

Serie A Top Scorers

Odds to win the Serie A Title

After winning their last four games in a row, Inter Milan remain as the favorites in the odds to win the Serie A with a +225 value.

They are followed by Juventus +250, AC Milan +300 and Napoli +550.

La Liga (Spain)

  • Reigning champions: Real Madrid
  • Current First Place: Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad have drawn their last three domestic games, but they returned to La Liga top spot thanks to Real Madrid, who beat Atletico Madrid last weekend.

That’s right, Real Sociedad drew 1-1 against Eibar and now they gave 26 points. Atletico Madrid lost 2-0 against Real Madrid; they also have 26 points, but Real Sociedad have scored more goals (23/21).

With that huge victory against Atletico, Real Madrid climbed to third place with 23 points, but they have played one game more than Atletico.

Barcelona returned to the winning column after beating Levante 1-0. Lionel Messi saved the day but Barcelona are not playing well at all.

At the Bottom

Despite having won three games (more than S.D. Huesca and Levante), Osasuna rank last with 11 points. S.D. Huesca and Levante also have 11 points, but they have scored more goals than Osasuna (two and three respectively).

All Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, Elche, Deportivo Alaves, Getafe, Valladolid, and Celta de Vigo are just three points or less away from the relegation zone.

Midweek and Next Weekend Best Games

Real Madrid will play host to Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday, while Barcelona will play host to Real Sociedad on Wednesday. Both games are to complete the schedule.

Next weekend, Atletico Madrid will play host to Elche. Barcelona will do the same against Valencia, while Real Madrid will be on the road against Eibar.

Real Sociedad will be on the road against Levante.

La Liga Top Scorers

Odds to win the La Liga Title

After beating Atletico Madrid 2-0, Real Madrid remain at the top of the odds to win La Liga with a +150 value. They are followed by Atletico Madrid +187 and Barcelona +350.

Real Sociedad still offer a +1200 value. Villarreal and Sevilla are next at +2500 and +2800.

Bundesliga (Germany)

  • Reigning champions: Bayern Munich
  • Current First Place: Bayer Leverkusen

We have a new sheriff in town! That’s right, Bayer Leverkusen own the Bundesliga top spot with 25 points, one more than reigning champions Bayern Munich.

Last weekend, Leverkusen beat Hoffenheim 4-1 with goals from Leon Bailey (two), Florian Wirtz, and Lucas Alario. They have won four of their last five domestic matches.

Bayern Munich drew 1-1 against Union Berlin. That was Bayern’s second straight draw and now they have 24 points; they have scored 35 goals (at least 12 more than any other team).

RB Leipzig also have 24 points. They just beat Werder Bremen 2-0 and they haven’t lost in their last five domestic games.

What about relegation?

Schalke 04 remain winless (0-4-7) and they own the Bundesliga last place with just four points. They have also allowed 33 goals, at least eight more than any other team.

Mainz 05 (1-2-8) are also in the relegation zone with five points. They lost their last two domestic games in a row.

Armenia (seven points) and Koln (ten points) are dangerously close to the relegation zone.

Midweek and Next Weekend Best Games

Midweek, Borussia Dortmund will be on the road against Wender Bremen, an excellent opportunity to try and return to the winning column.

RB Leipzig will be on the road against Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich will play host to Wolfsburg, and Bayer Leverkusen will visit Koln.

Odds to win the Bundesliga Title

Despite losing the top spot, Bayern Munich remains as the huge favorite at the odds to win the Bundesliga with a -700 value. They are still followed by Borussia Dortmund (+1000), RB Leipzig (from +2000 to +1200), and Bayer Leverkusen (from +4000 to +2000).

Ligue 1 (France)

  • Reigning champions: PSG
  • Current First Place: LOSC Lille

We also have a new Sheriff in the Ligue 1 town. LOSC Lille beat Bordeaux 2-1 and climbed to the top spot with 29 points; they haven’t lost in their last five matches.

Lyon also have 29 points, and they just beat PSG 1-0, but Lille have scored 26 goals and Lyon have scored 25.

PSG lost to Lyon and Neymar got injured. Now, PSG are third with 28 points, and they are followed by Marseille (27 points), who have won their last five domestic games in a row.

Last Two

Reims and Dijon remain as the last two with ten and nine points respectively. Reims haven’t won in their last five domestic games, while Dijon have a 1-3-1 record over that same span.

All Saint-Etienne, Strasbourg, Lorient, and Nimes are three or less points away from the relegation zone.

Midweek and Next Weekend Best Games

On Wednesday, LOSC Lille will be on the road against Dijon, while Lyon will play host to Stade Brestois.

PSG will try to return to the winning column by beating Lorient at home, and Marseille will try to win their sixth straight game in their visit to Rennes.

Next weekend, Marseille will return home to play host to Reims, Lyon will be on the road against Nice, and Lille will play host to PSG in the Game of the Week.

Ligue 1 Top Scorers

  • Kylian Mbappe (PSG): 10
  • Boulaye Dia (Reims): 8
  • Karl Toko Ekambi (Lyon): 7

  • Burak Yilmaz (Lille): 6

Odds to win the Ligue 1 Title

PSG lost the Ligue 1 top spot, but they still dominate the odds to win the Ligue 1 at -1000. They are followed by Lyon +2000, Marseille +2000, and LOSC Lille +2500.
