With the exception of the English Premier League, the top European soccer leagues will take a this weekend due to the holidays. Some, such as the Bundesliga, will not return until January. To Be Relegated
Fulham, Albion and Sheffield United remain at the bottom. Sheffield United haven’t won a single game, but they are not the team that have allowed more goals, that title belongs to Leeds United with 30.
Believe it or not, Arsenal, Burnley and Brighton are dangerously close from the relegation zone. Arsenal lost four of their last five games; they have scored just 12 goals and have allowed 18.
Next Weekend Best Games
Next Saturday is “Boxing Day”. Several games are scheduled, including Leicester City vs Manchester United, Arsenal vs Chelsea and Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace.
On Sunday, Liverpool will play host to Albion, while Jose Mourinho and Tottenham will be on the road against Wolverhampton.

Watch out for Inter Milan; they have won their last six domestic games in a row, and they are the top-scoring team with 34 goals (AC Milan have 32). The best defensive unit belongs to Napoli, who have allowed just 12 goals in 13 games.
Juventus just got beat by Fiorentina (3-0), leaving them in sixth place with 24 points, ten less than AC Milan but they have played one game less.
Nothing has changed at the bottom. Genoa, Crotone, and Torino remain as the last three; Torino have won just one game and they have allowed 32 goals.
Parma and Spezia are dangerously close to the relegation zone.

The Italian Serie A returns until Sunday, January 3. Some of the best games are Roma vs Sampdoria, Atalanta vs Sassuolo, Benevento vs AC Milan and Juventus vs Udinese.

Real Sociedad (26 points) fell apart; they have lost their last three games in a row. Villarreal (26 points) haven’t lost in their last five games, but they have tied in four of them.
At the Bottom
Levante left the relegation zone. Now, Valladolid, Osasuna and S.D. Huesca own the last three spots.
S.D. Huesca have won just one game, while Valladolid have allowed 24 goals (worst in the league).

La Liga action returns next week. On Tuesday, December 29, Sevilla will play host to Villarreal, and Barcelona will do the same against Eibar.
