Bet on the French Open Men's Outrights

Overview

The Men’s Outrights are another way to bet on the French Open, also known as Roland-Garros.

The French Open Men’s Outrights are a futures bet that allows bettors to place a wager on who they believe will be the champion.

How do the French Open Men’s Outrights work?

There are multiple ways to bet on the French Open, but the only way to bet on the men’s outrights is with a futures bet.

A futures bet predicts how the outcome of an event will turn out, such as the French Open.

Since future outcomes are harder to predict, futures bets are more commonly represented by positive odds, with the lower the positive number indicating the greater the favorite. However, if a team or player is a heavy favorite, they will have a negative number.

For example, if Rafael Nadal has +400 odds in the French Open Men’s Outrights and Casper Ruud has +1600 odds, Nadal is a stronger favorite to win the French Open. A bettor would win $400 on a $100 wager if Nadal won while they would win $1600 on a $100 bet for Ruud.

If Nadal was a big favorite to win the French Open, he could be given -125 odds. In that scenario, a bettor would have to place a $125 wager to win $100 if Nadal won.

BetUS Offer

When betting on the French Open Men’s Outrights, bonuses at sportsbooks are a great way to enhance your bankroll, and welcome bonuses are solid. BetUS provides a substantial 125% signup bonus up to $2,500.

This sports bonus will more than double your money if you deposit $100 or more. However, this offer is subject to rollover requirements, which means you must wager your deposit plus a bonus 10 times before requesting a withdrawal.

Betting Strategy

When making a futures bet on the French Open Men’s Outrights, there’s a couple of strategies one can use to help boost their chances of winning.

Though it’s a futures bet, looking at players’ history at the French Open is important, as some players perform better on Roland-Garros’ clay court than others.

How players are currently performing is crucial as well, as teams who are on a winning streak are likely to play better than those who have been struggling.

Finally, bettors should also examine players’ injuries, as a French Open favorite could have an injury issue that causes them to retire and the bet to lose.

Prop Bets

Although there are prop bets in the French Open, there aren’t when it comes to the French Open Men’s Outrights.

The Men’s Outrights is a futures bet, while prop bets allow bettors to place wagers on certain outcomes throughout the course of a match.

HOW TO BET ON FRENCH OPEN MEN'S OUTRIGHTS

There are multiple betting options when it comes to betting on the French Open.

However, the three most common types of bets are the moneyline, spread, and over/under, which all involve the final turnout of the match.

The moneyline is the easiest, as fans bet on who will win the match, with the favored player given positive odds and the underdog negative. For example, if Carlos Alcaraz is favored over Andy Murray, Alcaraz may have -200 odds to Murray’s +150. A person would have to bet $200 to win $100 on an Alcaraz win while a $100 bet would win $150 on a Murray win.

A spread bet includes how much a person must win by. If Alcaraz is favored by -1.5, he must win by two or more games to cover the spread.

Finally, the over/under for the French Open includes betting on how many sets bettors believe a best-of-five match will take to complete. If the over/under for the hypothetical Alcaraz/Murray match is set at 4, but the bettor thinks it will take all five sets, you would bet the over.

Bettors may also place a futures bet on who they believe will win the French Open, an Outright bet. Typically, futures bets are represented by positive odds, with the lower the number meaning the greater the favorite.

Prop bets are another option for the French Open, and involve betting on certain events that will happen in the French Open, such as how a player will do in a match statistically or how a match will play out.

When betting on the French Open, fans should do some research to ensure they have the best chances at winning.

Players may come into Roland-Garros on a winning streak, meaning they could be more likely to win, but if they struggle playing on the French Open’s clay court, it may be best to fade them in bets.

Knowing how players match up against each other as well as their potential injuries is also important. Some players could play better against certain players, while a nagging injury could also pop up and force a player to bow out of a match before it’s over, ruining betting odds.

Whatever bets you decide to place, it’s always best to arm yourself with some knowledge beforehand.
