WTA Finals Cancun: Swiatek Pick to Win Group
Iga Swiatek is all the rage with the best tennis bets to win her group at the WTA Finals in Cancun.
The Polish superstar is the favorite to beat Coco Gauff, Marketa Vondrousova, and Ons Jabeur, which is a terribly tough group.

The multiple French Open winner has the game to win the group, but there are four quality chances.

Swiatek Back in Form
After getting bounced in the Round of 16 at the US Open and losing to an unknown at the Japan Open, Swiatek’s hard-court credentials were being put to the test.
However, the tournament favorite at the BetUS Sportsbook bounced back to form with a win at the China Open when beating an unranked player in the final. However, she dispatched Gauff in the semifinal in straight sets.
The 6-2, 6-3 victory re-established Swiatek as one of the premier players in the world, and the 22-year-old still has a lot left to give.
“I’m happy that I won because, for sure, this is really big for me,” Swiatek said. “Winning this title is something that I never would have thought at the beginning of the tournament about. I’m pretty proud of myself.”
She enters the Chetumal side of the draw as the favorite with tennis betting markets, which is a fair price. Her record suggests she’ll be tough to beat, despite getting a tough draw.

Gauff Underestimated
American Coco Gauff shouldn’t be underestimated at the WTA Finals.
The US Open winner has played only once since her crowning achievement at Flushing Meadows, and she made the semifinals at the China Open before losing to Swiatek.
There is nothing wrong with that form, and bet odds have her as the second favorite to win the group.

That’s fair for one of the rising stars of the WTA Tour, and we thought she could have been the favorite to win the group.
The teenager will need to get past Swiatek at some stage, but her confidence is growing, and that’s a dangerous thought.
She is -210 in the WTA odds to beat Ons Jabeur in her opening match.
- Tennis Pick: Coco Gauff to Win Group
Wimbledon Champ Eyes Upset
Marketa Vondrousova’s form since winning Wimbledon hasn’t been great, but the 24-year-old could get back to her best in Cancun.
She lost in the Round of 64 at the China Open, which followed a tidy effort in the US Open. She lost to Madison Keys in the quarterfinal, so that was a solid effort in defeat.
Martina Navratilova, an 18-time Grand Slam winner, said she’s hopeful that Vondrousova is not just happy to be there.
“It’s the one to win, if you’re only going to win one. And I think Marketa’s backed it up with some decent results. Her ranking went up a little more because she had better results than a year ago. She’s got a nice all-around game. She still has room for improvement in her shot selection, and shot placement, and aggression,” Navratilova said.
“She’s decent at the net. She can mix it up a bit more. I’m quite happy she broke through at Wimbledon. We’ll see how she likes the court in Cancun, but she’s never come anywhere near qualifying for the year-end final. So I hope she’s not just happy to be there.”
She is +370 in her first match vs Swiatek, and she could be worth a play to win the Chetumal group.
