Tennis odds today have Aryna Sabalenka among the favorites to win the Italian Open, having won the Spanish Open last week.

Standing in her way is Iga Swiatek, who was trounced in Madrid, but she owns a 20-2 record at the WTA Italian Open.
3 Picks to Win WTA Italian Open
1. Aryna Sabalenka (+250)
The hottest player in the world is Sabalenka, who defeated Coco Gauff in straight sets to win the Madrid Open. She wasn’t tested much throughout the entire tournament, and it’s good to see her finally winning consistently.
Sabalenka had long been a choker on the WTA Tour, having made many deep runs before losing in the final. However, there isn’t much depth to the tour and she’s taking full advantage.
WTA odds have her at short odds to beat the likes of Swiatek, and although it won’t be easy, she is the best player in the field. She has adjusted to life on clay, which is great to see with the French Open on the horizon.
2. Iga Swiatek (+200)
Seeing Iga Swiatek lose in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 on clay is shocking. She was well below her best in Spain, but she boasts an epic record in Italy, which could be enough to see her best form return.
There is still respect being shown with WTA tennis odds, but it wasn’t long ago when Swiatek would have been the odds-on favorite at clay court tournaments. She’s a beast at the French Open, but she’s clearly going through either some mental or physical challenges.
However, despite there being risk in including her in tennis picks, I can’t overlook her 20-2 record at this tournament and she should make a deep run.
3. Coco Gauff (+650)
It was good to see Gauff back in title contention in Spain. She might have lost in the final, but making a deep run is always a confidence booster.
The American defeated Swiatek in the semifinals, resulting in her first Masters 1000 clay court final appearance. She made the semis here in 2021 and 2024, so it’s a tournament she enjoys and bettors typically get value odds.
I’m not leaving Gauff out of my tennis predictions. She showed in Spain that she’s good enough on clay, and although beating Sabalenka proves a challenge, Gauff is a legitimate title contender.
