My Top 3 Picks to Win WTA Madrid

1. Aryna Sabalenka (+300)

Madrid Open tennis odds are giving Sabalenka plenty of respect, and rightfully so. Despite clay not being her favorite surface, she is a two-time winner of this event and she’s playing much better tennis than clay court specialist Iga Swiatek.

I expect them to play in the final of the Madrid Open, but confidence is with Sabalenka, who played well at the Stuttgart Open. Swiatek was knocked out in the quarterfinals, so Sabalenka should be confident of posting another title.

Take the odds for the best player in the field, and include her in your tennis picks.

2. Iga Swiatek (+300)

I’m not sure what’s going wrong with Swiatek, who is usually unbeatable on clay. However, I’m prepared to give her time to figure it out.

“It’s still a challenge because it’s not like I come to play [on clay] and everything is perfect suddenly,” Swiatek said, per tennis news. “We play on a hard court most of the year, so coming to clay court I still need some time to adjust to.

“But for sure, I feel like I’m in the right place. With a good amount of work and focus, I’m going to be able to start playing my game.”

She should get back to playing her best tennis this week. She is a former Madrid Open champion, and as the latest tennis odds suggest, she has every chance of getting back to her best form and staving off a rankings drop.

3. Paula Badosa (+3300)

It could be a Spanish win for Paula Badosa, who has steadily improved her ranking over the last year.

She pulled out of the Miami Open at the Round of 16 stage in March, but with three weeks off, she could return to fine order.

The 27-year-old Spaniard made the semifinals at the 2025 Australian Open, and she has made the third round of the French Open twice and the fourth round once per WTA betting tips. That form stacks up nicely on clay courts.

Bettors get value odds for Badosa, and if there’s going to be an upset, it could be her. Add her to your WTA predictions.
