The world’s best players are playing in Turin for the Nitto ATP Finals this week, including our top tennis pick – Jannik Sinner.
The Italian has been the best player of 2024, and his +100 tournament odds reflect how dominant he has been against the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev.
Group play makes for an interesting tournament, and there is good value available for the leading chances.
3 Picks to Win Nitto ATP Finals
1. Winning Run Continues for Sinner
There is no hotter player in world tennis than Sinner, who comes off a win at the Shanghai Masters when beating Novak Djokovic in the final.
Djokovic isn’t playing this week, which could allow Sinner to roll through the opposition and win as the favorite with tennis odds. He’s a +100 chance following an opening win over Australia’s Alex de Minaur.
The world No. 1 expected to roll past Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev in his two other group play matches. Sinner is -700 to dispatch American Fritz in Tuesday’s match in Turin, Italy.
“Considering [how long since I last played], I’m very happy,” Sinner said. “I started off with some unforced errors. He was playing great in the beginning of the match, so I just tried to stay there mentally, knowing that hopefully at some point my tennis would arrive. It arrived quite early, and I started to return very well.”
You got to feel sorry for Alex DeMinaur, no matter how good he looks he is always being dog walked by Jannik Sinner.
Jannik is just levels above the field.

Sinner won the 2024 US Open in straight sets over Fritz before losing to Carlos Alcaraz at the China Open in what was one of the most incredible matches in recent history. They traded winner after winner, and they could meet in the final in Turin.
Alcaraz is his biggest threat, but that Spaniard got off to a rocky start in the tournament, losing to Casper Ruud in straight sets on Monday. Sinner is the man to beat, and we’re not leaving him out of our ATP Finals Picks.
Pick: Bet on Jannik Sinner to Win the ATP Finals
2. Alcaraz With a Point to Prove
On the second line of betting is Alcaraz at +150, who didn’t play well at the Paris Masters in what has been a theme of his year.
The former world number one has been one of the more inconsistent players inside the top 10. He won the China Open in fine style, but he followed it up with a quarterfinal loss to Machac in Shanghai and a Round of 16 loss to Humbert in Paris.
Those performances aren’t good enough from one of the best in the world, and although he’s considered one of the more sensible players, we would love to see him show his emotions on court. He’s bottling them up, and the season-ending tournament could see him explode.
It comes as no surprise to see the latest tennis odds have Alcaraz at +150. He’s always a threat to win, but he needs to show he can overcome the lower-graded players early in the tournament. There are no easy players in this tournament, as evidenced in Monday’s 6-1, 7-5 loss to Norwegian Ruud.
The third-seeded Alcaraz squandered a 5-2 lead in the second set of Monday’s match and looks to bounce back in his second group stage match on Wednesday against either Alexander Zverev or Andrey Rublev.

3. Zverev Excels at the ATP Finals
We’re not leaving Zverev out of our ATP Finals predictions despite the German having not won a tournament in 2024.
He has been consistent throughout the year and he has two ATP Finals titles to his name, so he knows what it takes to beat the best at the right time of the year.
Having that experience under his belt is tough to overlook, and he has been respected in online betting odds. He’s on the third line of betting at +395, but it does require him to beat the best in the world. He was -350 to be Rublev in Monday’s opening match.
Zverev has struggled to win the big matches in 2024, often losing in the latter stages of the grand slams. However, he could capitalize on the situation and give Sinner and Alcaraz something to think about.
