The U.S. Open continues with first-round action on Tuesday and there are three quality women’s fixtures available for bettors.
Tennis betting is surging in popularity with the return of crowds in New York and we’re confident our U.S. Open parlay can fill up your online betting account.
Bianca Andreescu, Alison Riske, and Jessica Pegula are all prominent in our North American tennis parlay.
US open picks are available for first-round action on Tuesday. We’ve plenty of US open tennis predictions for you to consider.
Bianca Andreescu vs Viktorija Golubic
It feels like ages since Bianca Andreescu won the 2019 U.S. Open, beating Serena Williams in straight sets. However, the Canadian is still only 21 years old and ready to make another deep run.
Her career has since been marred by poor results and injuries, but Andreescu gets a first-round opponent she can handle.
“I’m not the same person (as I was) back then. Taking so much time off, I feel like it helped me in many ways,” Andreescu told Tennis Head. “But then getting into that competitive mindset, it kind of brought me back a little bit. I feel like that’s also a reason why I haven’t had the results I wanted.”
Viktorija Golubic has lost four of her last five matches – much like Andreescu – but her defeats came against much easier opponents. The Swiss player lost to Naomi Osaka in straight sets at the Olympic Games and has since faced low-level opponents.
Andreescu has won only three of her last 10 matches, but her form should start to improve on the hardcourt surfaces.
The sportsbook has Andreescu at -200 to win. There isn’t much value in that price, so we’re happy to take the -3½ games at -110. She should win comfortably and progress to the second round.
Pick: Bianca Andresscu -3½ (-110)
Alison Riske vs Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova
US open predictions markets suggest Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova will progress to the second round without much fuss, but Alison Riske shouldn’t be overlooked.
The American made the second round of the Cincinnati Masters before being beaten by Victoria Azarenka. She has been mixing her form this season, but she owns the 3-2 advantage over her opponent on Tuesday.

Riske won the first two meetings in 2014 before winning in China in 2016. They haven’t played since 2017, but having a historical advantage helps Riske in this situation.
Pavlyuchenkova made the fourth round at the Olympics before losing in the second in Montreal. She is a top-15 player so we’re not surprised by the odds, but she’s hardly reliable.
Pavlyuchenkova is -450 in betting online markets, which is too short. We’re not going to suggest taking Riske to win at +350, but we’re loving the +5 game head start. She is good enough to keep this match close in what could be a 6-4, 6-4 score line.
Pick: Alison Riske +5 (-105)

Jessica Pegula vs Anastasia Potapova
Bookmakers have framed a one-sided market in favor of Jessica Pegula, who should have no problems making the second round. She is unlikely to trouble the world’s best players, including U.S. Open favorite Ash Barty, but she’s typically a good bet.
The American won the only meeting against Anastasia Potapova in three sets earlier this year, so she has had recent success against the Russian.
Pegula has won seven of her last nine matches, which is an outstanding record. Her losses came in the semifinals at Montreal and the third round at Cincinnati. There is little wrong with those defeats and she should bounce back at Flushing Meadows.
The tennis betting markets have Pegula at -650 to win outright and -5½ in spread markets. It’s a big line to cover, but Pegula could win 6-2, 6-2, which would see the spread covered easily.
Most of the early money has come for this option, so take the line before it shifts to -6½.
Pick: Jessica Pegula -5½ (-115)
