La Liga: Expert Picks and Odds

Speaker 1:

Welcome to BetUS. I’m Flash. It’s La Liga. It’s match day 23. Welcome back. International break, even though the Europeans didn’t even bother with having, they just had like 10 days on the beach. Transfer deadline went through as well so remember, there’s a caveat on who’s in, who’s out, what team’s going to jail but first of all we are America’s favorite sports book so please subscribe. Get us closer to 4,000 on The Soccer Channel and more importantly at the moment is to ring the bell, because you’ll never miss any content again.

Speaker 1:

And in a couple of weeks time, the Champions League is back, but now we’re going to add the Europa League on a Tuesday. So it’ll be Champions League on a Monday, and Europa League on a Tuesday. And I believe with so many Spanish teams involved in Europa League we’re going to have La Liga low down.

Speaker 1:

That means we’re going to have Paco and then when Paco loses, that means that we’ll have to have Roman to come back in and build up the pot. We’re also going to have questions and answers at the end prior to the best bets online. So if you’ve got any questions, get yourselves in the chat. We’ve got four games to cover because there are is a caveat. We don’t know what teams are going to settle into and having new personnel. So we’ve got to make sure that we are correct.

Speaker 1:

Now, I have two big guests that are doing the best out of every single show as a team. As a team, we cut everything up and we seem to come out on the right side. I have from Greece, we have Pavlos, who’s number one for stats, numbers, value and now he’s adding winners to it. On the other side, it’s Roman. Roman’s got a monkey on his back. It’s called Paco that keeps spending all his money.

Speaker 1:

So now we have Roman back to build up the pot again. Now, before I say hello to the gentlemen, let’s put the records up because you’ll see how well we’re doing. It’s Team La Liga and it’s massive. 14.54 units of profit. And we don’t like to talk about individuals. The individuals are doing great. Pavlos was like seven or eight units down at one stage, now look at him.

Speaker 1:

He’s just back to like 15 cents. He doesn’t, he gives more than that to like the paper boy, so seven for me, the legal low down is 5.95. And if it wasn’t for Paco, then it’d probably be like, La Liga then would be like 15 up. The parlays doing great as well at 1.88, cause we came up trumps again. I think we had a great La Liga the week before the transfer deadline and the international break. But now I have a little chat with my two esteemed friends. I’ve got to go straight to Roman because Barcelona have been very, very busy. They say that Barcelona have no money and yet they bring players in. You can take that record off. I mean 14.54 units is good. Get yourselves in the chat, have a comment, questions and answers at the end, after our four games. But Roman. Are you happy with the business that Barcelona have done?

Roman:

Oh, absolutely. I mean, given where we’re coming from and how bad everything looks suddenly bringing players like [inaudible 00:03:01] I mean, the team looks so much better now. So much more competitive now. I think we will actually have a chance to fight for that top four and hopefully, maybe even a bit higher if possible. Of course, it won’t be easy because all these players have are coming from different sides, different styles of football, and they’re going to have to adapt to what Barcelona requires. But I mean, given everything, I mean, it’s a great job by [inaudible 00:03:25] who’s a sports director, they’re in charge of all these movements and he’s done a fantastic super job, honestly. And some of these players might be considered like they’re maybe at the end of their career or not at their best shape because [inaudible 00:03:38 ] hasn’t been playing so long, but [inaudible 00:03:39], of course he’s 38, et cetera.

Roman:

But think, I still think that given the circumstances, given we have very little money available in terms of salary cap space, where they had to do some very weird negotiations by renewing these contracts in a different way. They also had to get rid of [inaudible 00:03:55] et cetera. I think overall, I’m very happy with how it’s been going now. Hopefully can this reflect on the pitch and Barce can grow a little and look especially forward to next season where they should take that jump and leap back to the top.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So that means if they’re going to do that next season, then maybe Pavlos past line, or our team to follow on the running.

Pavlos:

Yeah they are. But you know, to be perfectly honest with you guys I’m more excited by the transfers that [inaudible 00:04:24] Barcelona, okay. They said they have no money, but they still bringing in maybe not the best players around, but still some very, very talented players. So yeah, I mean, Barcelona is truly a team to watch after. I wanted to pluck my own eyes out for in the first half of the season. I couldn’t stand watching them, but now maybe I will catch a game or two, I guess. But yeah, I think I’m more excited than with the teams from the bottom half of the table. I think some of them did some really, really good signings. And maybe we’ll talk about them, a couple of them, at least, in today’s show.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. I also want to talk about, before the show’s over, I want to get plenty of people in the chat. I want to get them involved because plus 1600 for [inaudible 00:05:07] Madrid to win the champions league. I know they’ve got a tough, tough game coming up or tough two games, but if they get through that, they’ll be like plus 600. So plus 1600 for [inaudible 00:05:18] Madrid to win the champions league, I think is way, way too big. So, let’s get involved in that collectively by the end of the show. Okay. Right, then. Let’s kick off with the first game. Cause we’ve got four games, then we’re going to obviously do a Q and A, then we’ll do the official. So we’ll start off with [inaudible 00:05:34] versus [inaudible 00:05:35] at plus 100. Don’t complicate it. That has come in from plus 115. So 15% move in favor of the home [inaudible 00:05:45] that plus 335. The under over is a skinny two, by the way. So I wouldn’t put anyone off of the over two at minus 120. The draws are at plus 220. Bit too close to that plus 200 for me, I’m going to come to you first, though, Pavlos, because [inaudible 00:06:01], they went to [inaudible 00:06:02] and they did really, really well. Are we going to see a new [inaudible 00:06:06] now?

Pavlos:

Quite possibly so. I mean I loved, they brought a couple of plays from Roma. Another one from Valencia, from [inaudible 00:06:17], from river plate, from [inaudible 00:06:18]. So they know what their weaknesses are and they try to do their best to cover those. When I always like to see that in a team that they’re very active in the January transfer window, it means that they know who they are. They know who they’re, what they’re good at and what they are bad at. So getting, I think it’s five or six players, on loan is just something very promising, at least in my eyes. Well, when you look at the other, at the other hand, [inaudible 00:06:46] they only brought one Martin Caceres, just a single player, a defender from [inaudible 00:06:50] on a free transfer. So I’m not sure if they don’t have any money or if they think they’re doing okay, which I doubted.

Pavlos:

I mean, they’re dead last in the league. They just recently recorded their first win. Nothing is good for [inaudible 00:07:05] right now. I think they might be getting ready to maybe sink in the La Liga, in the [foreign language 00:07:10] decision, but [foreign language 00:07:13] yeah, they’ve been doing a great job lately, especially at home. At home they are now, let me check here. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. They’re on bitter in the last six, they have five wins, one draw and they did beat [inaudible 00:07:27] in that span and held, build out a gold draw. And I think that this is a match where they can, they have a clear path to three points. I mean, [foreign language 00:07:36] they just, I don’t know what to say about Levante. I mean, their numbers are wrong, very, very bad. They lost at home to Qatif by two nil. They have the worst difference, the worst away difference.

Pavlos:

I mean, even though [foreign language 00:07:53] numbers haven’t been very good. Actually, they kind of struggle a bit in the offense. They have the second worst offense, fifth worth XG, but they do have the fifth best home difference with 11 considered goals. So even though their offense is just struggling a little bit, their defense works really, really good at home. And against [inaudible 00:08:14] side that do have the fourth worst offense. I believe that if they are a little careful, I think that [inaudible 00:08:20] can win this to nil even. But yeah, I’m leaning towards the [inaudible 00:08:26] side here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Only the home side. And if there’s one side that really didn’t want international break and the rest, it was [inaudible 00:08:35]. Roman, we’ve got, don’t complicate it at plus one 100, remember it was at plus 115. I mean, even if you went to the alternate line, you’re probably going to get like minus one, which is like a free hit. Around the plus 160. Do you see anything covered in [inaudible 00:08:51] win? Because [inaudible 00:08:52] looks sharp and together.

Roman:

Yeah. As Pavlos has been saying, I think [foreign language 00:08:57] are clearly on a good run at the moment. They’re playing so much better than Levante, which on the other hand are just really, really poor. They’re just incapable of getting a good streak of results. And I think one of the problems that they didn’t manage to bring any other signing apart from Martin [foreign language 00:09:13] is that they’re so down in the standings I don’t think they’re very appealing to other players who will know that it’s very likely they’re going to play in the second division next season in Spain. So they probably just want to avoid joining this team. And it’s surprising that they’re going to bring a 34 year old defender when they’re one of their starting center pack, [foreign language 00:09:30] is already 33. They have Miramon, who’s also around that age Caucus, 34, they have so many players above 30 in the defensive line.

Roman:

And I don’t think that’s going to help very much. It’s true that Martin Caceres does have experience. He’s a decent defender, but I don’t know if that was the kind of signing they needed to fight. You know, those bottom positions that they’re really struggling with. And on the other hand, [foreign language 00:09:53] has been doing a great job since the new manager Kiki Sanchez Flores came in. The signings, as Pavlos mentioned, have been very decent, especially about [foreign language 00:10:01] who already scored in his debut. He looks really dangerous at an attack together with [foreign language 00:10:05] he can be very damaging against Levante and also they brought in Oscar Rodriguez from [foreign language 00:10:11] who’s a very talented midfielder. He can also provide a lot. And overall, as you mentioned, [foreign language 00:10:16] more cohesive team, they are more solid, more compact, more together than ever. And at the moment, I just don’t see any opportunity of Levante winning unless [foreign language 00:10:26] have a terrible day, which I don’t think will be the case. And as a curiosity for our viewers playing on Fridays at home, [foreign language 00:10:36] haven’t lost in any of their 15 games with eight wins and seven draws and zero defeat. So that’s a curiosity you might want to know that [foreign language 00:10:44] on Friday nights are very, very good at home.

Speaker 1:

See what I want to know. I want to know what [foreign language 00:10:49] is minus one. I’m happy to have a free sports bets on that on top of [foreign language 00:10:53] to win a plus 100. Listen, we’re not reinventing the wheel here. Have a look this for official soccer picks because again, I mean, you could have plus 150 for [foreign language 00:11:03] to score twice, but bang, bang, bang. It’s like playing a fruit machine. There’s the free, I would say the free lemons, but then obviously I don’t want to call myself a lemon, but [foreign language 00:11:13] money line up plus 100. It’s like the free bails or the free jokers. Yeah, listen, the Jack pops up. [foreign language 00:11:21] money line plus 100 that will do very, very nicely, but oh, it’s plus 200 as well. So I’m going to have a piece of that as well. I’m going to have a little bit of a minus one on [foreign language 00:11:33] at plus 200 and I will make that official.

Speaker 1:

And we’ve been getting great guns in La Liga. Let’s move on to the second game because this is either a gift or it’s a trap. One of us has jumped in so he can let us know it’s [foreign language 00:11:45] versus [foreign language 00:11:47], plus two 17 massive price at home, but [foreign language 00:11:50] is a massive plus 120 on the road. And it’s like, the draws are plus 215 under or over again is at two. Over two is at minus 115. The under two is minus 105. Did [foreign language 00:12:05] score twice, because if they do, forget them, what plus 120 it’s plus 165. Roman.

Roman:

I mean after [foreign language 00:12:12] are of tough side, especially at home, they tend to play well. Although this season, maybe not as much as last, but at the same time, [foreign language 00:12:20] they need this win. They’ve signed very good players in intact, especially with [foreign language 00:12:26] Corona, that’s definitely a boost they’re going to appreciate going forward. And then the series back from the African cup playing with Morocco. So I mean those three guys are lethal and if you add that to what they already have with [foreign language 00:12:40], et cetera, I mean, this is a very strong team going forward. And I mean, those signings that they’ve brought in this winter market are for the only reason of fighting for La Liga and the Euro league for going right until the end, they’re going to push a [inaudible 00:12:54] they’re going to try and get their opportunity. And these are the kind of games they have to win if they really want to aspire to that La Liga trophy at the moment.

Roman:

So I think overall, I just see [foreign language 00:13:06] needing to win this more than anything. And with the quality they’ve brought into the squad and knowing that [inaudible 00:13:13] is usually quite good at adapting new players into his system, I think it should work out well. And on the other hand [inaudible 00:13:19] won’t have one of their best fallbacks in [foreign language 00:13:22] who’s had a really, really good season for them. He’s been probably one of their best guys with [inaudible 00:13:25] Garcia, but he’s suspended. Also, [inaudible 00:13:29] is not there. They still going to put out a decent side there and they’re going to fight it till the end. But overall I do believe this [inaudible 00:13:35] has a good chance of winning it.

Speaker 1:

They scored twice though, Roman.

Roman:

They scored twice. I mean, it’s hard to say depends a bit on, on how the attacking forwards adapt together. But I did say that with [inaudible 00:13:47] usually it works out well. I do see a certain chance of that happening, honestly.

Speaker 1:

Okay. That’s a plus 165. Why? Oh, Pavlos plus 165 or not complicated and take the normal severe one nil at plus 120?

Pavlos:

Listen, my initial picks for this week were [foreign language 00:14:09], but then I digged a little deeper in the stats and then I just left it alone. I mean, I’m going to tell you why I’m going to tell you my what my initial pick actually, what I would play if I had to play in this match, but here are some stats that really push me off from this match. First of all, [foreign language 00:14:29] offense has been declining lately, especially the XG numbers. They have now the 10th worst XG on the road, sorry, 10th worst XG. Yes. On the road with 1.3 per game and the fifth worst away offense with just 10 goals. Something, I don’t know. It’s because they keep their away matches so tight. They do have the best away defense, the second best away defense. Sorry with just six considered goals, but they have a very bad offense, they don’t score a lot on the road.

Pavlos:

Maybe that’s why they brought all this offensive players. Maybe they’re going to try to, to jolt that, that offense on the road, but at home they’re excellent, great. But on the road, they, something happens. Something happens to them. I don’t know what it is. And also soon at home, they haven’t been the punching banks. I mean, they do have the third worst home record in the league. Just two wins for losses and five draws. And their numbers are just bad. I mean, also soon they have the 10th best XG at home with 1.47 per game, which.

Speaker 1:

Connection there for Pavlos.

Pavlos:

Bad connection. Really?

Speaker 1:

No, no, you’re back now.

Pavlos:

Okay. But also, so now they have the third worst home offense with just 10 goals. And when you pair that up with severe solid defense, I just don’t see [foreign language 00:15:49] scoring here. So there’s that, but the problem is that maybe [foreign language 00:15:54] won’t score. I mean their XG numbers have not been the best lately. Maybe it’s the tiredness. Maybe it’s the consecutive matches. Maybe it’s their involvement in the chairman’s league, in the [foreign language 00:16:08], all these, all these matches. I mean, I don’t know what’s wrong with [foreign language 00:16:12] , but the thing is that I was kind of worried about a draw in this mat. So I don’t know. The best bet I could make, which I eventually scrubbed as well, was the combination of [foreign language 00:16:22] or draw and under two and a half goals at around 150, minus 150, minus 140, something like that. [crosstalk 00:16:30]

Speaker 1:

You had to go really dig in for something that’s so juiced. Yeah. Cause you’re not best to just put a line for it, leave it and just cheer on Roman at plus 120.

Pavlos:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s why I passed everything. And then I hope Roman wins it and [foreign language 00:16:42] win it.

Speaker 1:

Plus 165 as well for [foreign language 00:16:47] to score twice. They score twice. They win the game. Don’t they?

Pavlos:

Yeah, for sure. For sure. I mean, I just don’t see [foreign language 00:16:54] scoring one, let alone score twice against the [foreign language 00:16:56] side. So if [foreign language 00:16:57] scored twice, that’s a big win. And a two nil correct score is also something very possible here. I just don’t know which players from the new sidings are going to be ready, which players are going to start. But yeah, given their newfound offensive boost, I could see them scoring twice here.

Speaker 1:

Okay. Let’s have a little look at them numbers though, while you’re talking though Pavlos, because you indicate that you don’t see [foreign language 00:17:20] sooner scoring. That’s at plus 145. So that brings in the nil nil if [foreign language 00:17:25] don’t win two nil. So all of a sudden, as in, and I don’t mean two nil I mean, as in [foreign language 00:17:30] win and [foreign language 00:17:32] don’t score as in win to nil. Plus 145 [foreign language 00:17:37] not to score. Does that tempt you?

Pavlos:

Yeah, it does. I’m not going to pick it though, because I’m trying to climb inside the positive, a positive streak, but I’m very, very tempted to do that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. And we, and we’ve got to have that caveat of new players coming in. Players have left from other teams. We don’t know how they’re going to settle in, but the [foreign language 00:17:56] at plus 120 is a massive, massive gift with a nice tidy little bow. And we all rush for it. And Roman got there first. So let’s say we don’t. Listen, let’s hope it’s not a trap. Let’s have a little look at the official picks because there’s plenty value if you fancy this away side. [inaudible 00:18:17] don’t complicate at plus 120. But remember the homeside not to score is at like plus 145. [foreign language 00:18:25] to score twice is at plus 165.

Speaker 1:

Let’s move on to game number three, because I’m going to take a leap of faith here. It’s Valencia versus [foreign language 00:18:33] really, really busy at the moment. Players in, players out, players, injured, players coming back from suspensions against the Valencia side, who need to put up Valencia at plus 185 is expecting to be a little bit bigger. [foreign language 00:18:47] are plus 155 points you towards a draw here around the plus 230 and under over two and a half goals. Can’t really split it. I mean, I’ll come to you, Roman, because [foreign language 00:18:59], for me, they’re like an under sixteens team because they’ve got so much pace on the break. They want you to over commit. I think Valencia a bit too long in the two. And I fancy the home side gets something here.

Roman:

I mean, Valencia are always dangerous at home and they surprise you when you least expect it. It won’t be an easy game for sure, because I also see that maybe have been a bit disappointing in some of the last few games. And now at the moment they’re playing against [inaudible 00:19:23] and they’re too kneeled down, which is definitely not a positive result. And they might also feel a bit of that tiredness from this game.

Speaker 1:

But Roman they were disjointed in their last game against [foreign language 00:19:33] at home.

Roman:

Yeah, they were, they were a bit and that’s why I wasn’t really too sure on trusting them so much because [foreign language 00:19:42] haven’t been great. They start off pretty well. And then they’ve kind of slipped down a bit and they’re not as cohesive as they used to be. And unfortunately, players like Silva, for example, who, he’s at a certain age, but he still got a lot of quality, expect him to do a bit more there and provide more in those going forward. But at the same time, he’s just not really clicking in. And it’s depending on some of the important pairs to like [foreign language 00:20:04] to step up or like Medino, et cetera. So that’s why [foreign language 00:20:08] that for me at the moment, aren’t a very reliable side. I just can’t really trust them. And Valencia, I can never trust Valencia, honestly. When I have, it usually hasn’t gone very well, because you know, they’re capable of absolutely anything.

Roman:

They’re super unpredictable and I’m not kidding. You know, they can have a super good game one day and the next day they’re just going to get thrashed four nil. But at home they are always slightly stronger. They’re signed in a couple of decent and players, Brian Hill, who we know did really well last season in La Liga with [foreign language 00:20:37]. He should be capable of immediately having an impact on this team. And he’s definitely going to give them a boost because the squad Valencia he had until now wasn’t that great. And also Moriva, he’ll be interesting to see if, how he can adapt because after leaving Barcelona, he hasn’t played much. And overall having [foreign language 00:20:54] get this, these two guys are always crucial. They’re very dangerous, but I don’t know. I just can’t really trust. I can’t really trust Valencia I can’t really trust [inaudible 00:21:03]. That’s why in my case, I’m just passing and you did take a leap of faith, I think, with this one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I did. I opened up, I opened up this game of leap of faith, because I don’t want to get involved with Valencia, against Valencia at home, but I don’t want to be with [foreign language 00:21:16] in their current form. Pavlos. What’s happened to this [foreign language 00:21:21] side? Because they’re up there and they’re always, they’re being talked about, oh, they’re a surprise package. But then when you sit down and actually watch them play, like they’re all pretty, but they’d have no end product.

Pavlos:

Yeah, they are. They are like that. I don’t know why exactly. But you know, at the start of the season and all throughout the first half of the season, they used to have their offers wasn’t very good. I think they were in the bottom half of the XG tables, but their defense was amazing. I think they were top two or top three defense at home on the road. I mean, they were very good, but these numbers have started to go down just a little bit. They still have the third best XGA with 1.2, two per game, which is really solid. They have the fourth best difference with 21 considered goals. They have the fifth best XGA on the road with 1.3, two per game and the seventh best away difference with just 15 considered goals.

Pavlos:

But these numbers, again, they used to be much, much better in the first half of the season. Their XG numbers haven’t really been much better. Right now they have the 9462 with 1.36 per game. They still have the fifth worst offense with just 22 goals. They, something has happened on the road though, lately, maybe because they had a favorable schedule, but they now have the fifth best XG on the road with 1.47 and the fifth best away offense with in goals or 16, it’s 15 goals. So their defense was really good, but not so great. So anymore the offense was kind of bad, but it’s now picking up especially lately. And when you look up at Valencia, I mean the difference has been struggling throughout the entire season. They have the six worst XGA with 1.35, 53 per game. The second worst difference with 36 considered goals, they have the fourth worst XGA at home with 1.5, three per game and the fifth worst home difference with 13 considered goals.

Pavlos:

Yes, they have the fourth best offense with 35 goals, but it comes with a cost, and it’s their defense. And I was surprised to see that didn’t get a single defender in this transfer window, maybe because I don’t know, they had a lot of injuries in the back line, but I guess now most are healthy except Gabriela [foreign language 00:23:41] and [foreign language 00:23:42] is also out. Maybe you did make a leap of faith. What also worries me just a little bit is the fact that…

Speaker 1:

Only because I can’t have the wayside. Listen, they’re [crosstalk 00:23:54] against Batis as we speak, they didn’t, they failed to like break [foreign language 00:23:59] down in 90 minutes of pure dominance up until last 30 yards, they are really struggling. And the other big thing is about all these numbers. You have got to make sure you’re up to date because this is a team that is on a down trend. So all these numbers that sound so good, they were so much better and now they’re falling and it’s a stop like this and it’s like catching a falling knife and I’m not interested in that.

Pavlos:

That’s true. That’s true. You know, the last thing that I wanted to say was the fact that Valencia, they’ve only won two of the last 10 home matches against [inaudible 00:24:33] they have two wins, five losses and three draws. However, each of the last three were draws. So yeah, I could see Valen. You know, as Arman said, Valencia like a [inaudible 00:24:45] they can beat, I don’t know, maybe VRL and then the next day they lose to Cardiff. I don’t know. It’s just a weird, best of luck. Both with [foreign language 00:24:53] and Valencia guys. I just, I couldn’t take them this week. Sorry.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, I haven’t been that brave. I have took a leap of faith and the leap of faith, and you’ll see now with the official picks, is that I’m actually gone with Valencia out in draw no bet at minus 110, because I thought that if any team’s going to win this, it would be the home side, but I wouldn’t put anybody off of the draw. And that was just one of them. And listen, I wouldn’t be adverse to advising anyone, having the draw off 75 minutes, you go to bet us.com. You go to soccer, go down to La Liga go to Valencia, [foreign language 00:25:27], press the props and there, and it will go up 75 million. Because I can see one of these two. Remember, [foreign language 00:25:34] do have plenty pace on the brake. So if Valencia start getting a little bit too gung-ho they could get done by Anarki Williams or, or even one of the boys from midfield making a third man run because [foreign language 00:25:47] do like to go forward.

Speaker 1:

It’s just, I don’t, they need that one on one situation. Otherwise, I don’t see them creating enough. So yes, Valencia I’m draw no better. Minus 110. Now the final game, this will be not a leap of faith. It’s getting the value because it’s [foreign language 00:26:03] Madrid versus Granada. [foreign language 00:26:04] Madrid minus 400, but also giving up minus one and a half at minus 135. The visitors, Granada are plus 1100, getting a goal and a half and still being plus money. So we’re expecting Madrid to win by two goals. To draw? Well, it’s pointless, but it’s plus 525. Do we see four goals? Because they say [foreign language 00:26:23] Madrid over three goals at minus 130. Roman I’ll come to you first. Madrid. I like them for the Champion’s league at plus 1600. I will be having some of that prior to their two games against PSG. But how do we find value at home to little old Granada?

Roman:

That’s what I was looking at, but I really couldn’t find it honestly, because I just don’t fully trust [foreign language 00:26:47] Madrid for this game for a couple of reasons. First of all, [foreign language 00:26:51] is suspended. And that for me is a very important player not available. Also [inaudible 00:26:57] is doubtful and not having [foreign language 00:26:59] or [foreign language 00:27:00] would be catastrophic because you’d be playing [crosstalk 00:27:02].

Speaker 1:

Who would they play up, Roman, who would they play?

Roman:

Probably [foreign language 00:27:07] and [foreign language 00:27:07] or something like that. Which for me, well [crosstalk 00:27:09]

Speaker 1:

You’re telling me [foreign language 00:27:09] fit?

Roman:

Well, he is playing now. And then he is fit surprisingly. Yeah, he has been playing a bit lately, but still it’s not a player that I can trust a hundred percent to lead the team forward at this stage of his career, or at least at this stage of his career in [foreign language 00:27:25] Madrid. And on the other hand, the other factor, which takes me back a little bit is also that Mendy is suspended. So probably Marcella’s going to play in the full back position. And he’s not reliable either. I mean, Granada down that wink can do a lot of damage and I just don’t know what’s going to happen.

Roman:

Maybe Madrid will get the win in the end because of course they’re playing at home and overall they do have the stronger side. They have a really strong [inaudible 00:27:47] field with [foreign language 00:27:49], et cetera. We’ll have to see how it goes for them tonight against athletic club. There, any injuries, any surprises there, but I just couldn’t really find the value for those reasons. I mean, if they end up missing [foreign language 00:28:02] I think that’s going to be quite critical and maybe even Granada could surprise them there in [foreign language 00:28:07] so for me, I wouldn’t take risk with this game and maybe look forward to that PSG game, as you mentioned, because I probably saving their place like [foreign language 00:28:15] will be arrested and [foreign language 00:28:18] should be recovered by then.

Speaker 1:

No, you make a great point. And we see this time in time out with these big sides that now it starts to get to the champions league and it starts, and we’re not just talking about Madrid, here. We’re talking about all of the big guns. They do start having a little bit of riot. Let’s start managing the players’ time and making sure that we manage our games is maybe we still get the win. But is this like a game that’s two nil and just do one, Pavlos? Do Granada score because that’s where the value is. If you think Granada score, then we’ve got value.

Pavlos:

Well, I’d like Granada not to score because if they score my bet in order to win well [crosstalk 00:29:01]

Speaker 1:

What are the numbers? What are the numbers for Granada to score? Are the lines telling us that they’re expecting Granada to score? What are the numbers please? Ali?

Pavlos:

Let’s see here.

Speaker 1:

Wow. It’s a coin flip it’s minus 105 for a clean sheet for Madrid.

Pavlos:

Well, I don’t blame that price because Granada, they might have the third worst XG overall with under one per game, but they have the eighth best offense with 33 goals. That’s possibly because they played against naive teams who maybe Granada didn’t didn’t create an awful lot of chances, but they converted them to goals. But still Granada’s numbers are one of the, some of the worst out there. They have the third worst XG on the road, less than one per game, fifth worst away offers with just 10 goals. And keep in mind that Ram Madrid’s numbers are just splendid. I’m just going to finish with Granada’s numbers. Worst XGA with 1.79 per game, fourth worst defense with 33 considered goals. Third worst XG on the road with 1.82 per game, which means they allow a lot of shots.

Pavlos:

And you know, a lot of clean looks to the opponents while [foreign language 00:30:07]. Madrid best XG with 2.27. Best offers with 47 goals, best XG at home with 2.35 per game. Second best home offense with 24 calls. Of course, these are numbers with [inaudible 00:30:19] and he’s probably doubtful, at least questionable for this match. And then I look at the history between the two sides. Earlier in the season [foreign language 00:30:29] blasted another by four to one on the road last season, they also beaten by four to one on the road. And by two nil at home. They have now won each of the eight home mats against Granada. Over the years, they won by two or more goals in seven of those. And they have created a, they have produced a couple of massive, just massive results, like nine to one, five to one, five to nil.

Pavlos:

Of course, this is, you also always have to look who is playing now. What happened this season? I don’t know. [foreign language 00:30:58] Madrid’s defense has been rather solid at home. They kept a lot of clean seats. And against this Granada side, I don’t know, I mean, Granada weren’t really reinforced during the transfer window. So I think if Madrid plays all difference, I think two nil is a very realistic scenario. I mean, there’s a lot of two nils in the recent matches against [inaudible 00:31:21] against Athletica Madrid in big matches as well. I guess [inaudible 00:31:24] . So I genuinely see [foreign language 00:31:28] Madrid winning this one, not by too many goals, but yeah, if they’re a bit careful at the back, I’ll win my bet and everyone is happy.

Speaker 1:

What about is under free goals, a free hit do we, we don’t see four goals in this game, do we?

Pavlos:

I don’t think I said three goals here.

Speaker 1:

Under three goals is a plus 110. Worst case scenario, this is like a two one, it’s not, or a three nil.

Roman:

But it is a Madrid at home, you know, it’s a bit [crosstalk 00:31:56]

Speaker 1:

But you’re telling me that potentially no [foreign language 00:31:58] no [foreign language 00:31:58] junior.

Roman:

Yeah. Yeah, of course. If that’s the case.

Speaker 1:

I’m not for sure. Any faith at all in Roman with all due respect, [foreign language 00:32:03] on hazard in front of a cruise, [foreign language 00:32:05] a moderate Jesus. There’s more mobility than like load of tortoises running around my garden.

Roman:

If [foreign language 00:32:12] is out, for sure. But in the case he’s available at the end, this could be a bit risky.

Speaker 1:

Okay. Okay. All right. Let’s have a little look at the official picks cause that’s what we’re cheering on. Cause we are at 14.54 units of profit. Plus by the way, we’re gone for [foreign language 00:32:27] Madrid minus 1.5. At minus 135. Now what about in the chat? They’re going to be asking us some questions. Min two flash showed some interest on us. Thank you. What are you talking about? Have you got any questions? Because I did see someone there also…

Roman:

I saw a question before flash. It was…

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was like.

Roman:

Asking about [crosstalk 00:32:48]

Speaker 1:

Didn’t want to talk about, wasn’t it? I’ll go up a little Batis and Villa [foreign language 00:32:55], you spin that coin three times. You’ll three different, honest to God. Batis are the hottest team in La Liga against potentially the best team in La Liga on their day as well. Good luck with that one. It could be nil nil. Batis could win three one. Villa Rayel could win one nil and be totally comfortable. I mean, Roman, am I right in saying that Batis and Villa Rayel, it’s just one for the purists, unless you support Batis or Villa Rayel, there’s no need getting involved.

Roman:

Yeah. I mean, it’s again, that can go anyway, because both teams are in pretty decent form at the moment and they’re playing good football and you know, it could be a surprise there or the way team wins or it could be a comfortable home win. So you don’t really know. Maybe if I had to go for something maybe up for goals, because I do expect both teams to score goals. But aside from that, I think it’s a quite a difficult game to break down.

Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, I’m going to ask Pavlos exactly the same thing, but while I’m doing it, can you type in any questions that you want me to ask the lad? Cause remember they are the best combination that we have or basically by units of profit anyway, at 14.54. So you get yourselves type in. [inaudible 00:34:08] Athletica coach. So Roman I’ll come to you after I spoke to Pavlos about the biggest game, which is Batis versus Villa Rayel.

Pavlos:

Yeah, I was, I would actually try, want to say to everyone, everyone that’s watching that be careful of Batis because they have a, just a terrible schedule coming up. I think they’re playing seven matches in the next 24 days. That’s roughly a match every three days or something. So that’s the, and they do have a couple of injuries now. So I mean, fatigue is definitely going to be an issue at some point in the next, in the next month, in the month of February. So just be careful and especially they’re playing against Villa. No, no, I don’t want anything to do with that match. Maybe I’ll watch on TV, but just I’m staying the hell away, man. I’m just really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it’s a great game. It’s a great game, but you’ll be sweating over both teams to score.

Pavlos:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Or you’ll be like unders, and it’ll be like two to a hard time. Roman. Barce versus Athletico. Are Barce going to step up from day one?

Roman:

It’s hard to say honestly, because Barce have been looking, I’ve been given very different versions since chubby has been on and they were looking good for a moment against that game. Again, [foreign language 00:35:22] by losing seemed like the team was stepping up a bit, but then after against athletic club against [foreign language 00:35:27] the team was super poor, played very bad football. I have to say have to be honest with our viewers. And it wasn’t a good game from either of those two. And now against Athletico Madrid it’s true that the rivals aren’t doing very well either. It’s two sides, which are maybe at a slight low point, but at the same time, they’re fighting for those champions league positions for that fourth, third spot. So I’m really not sure which way it’s going to go. Given it’s at home Barcelona are playing at home and they have burned a couple of interesting players who I hope can quickly at adapt into chubby system.

Roman:

I maybe could see Barce [foreign language 00:36:00] or something like that, but I don’t think you’re going to get much too much value for that. So, I mean, it’s hard to say or hard to find the value because it could be a nil nil. It could be a one one, it could be a three two. So many outcomes, like the [inaudible 00:36:12] game in this sense, I’m just not convinced of any of the beds. And I just thought, maybe let’s wait in, see what Barce does. If these new signings really provide something. And from there on, we can start bring coming to conclusions and deciding whether it’s worth betting on them or not. Basically.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it’s educational. I think it’s one of them games now with so many of these teams, it’s educational to see if you want to be with them, for the run in. Like we were what we said with about Batis, like we said about Villa Rayel and that’s the reason that our unit have grown to such great heights so far, we want to go even higher, but it’s because we spotted very early on like the horse that was sitting in behind the pack and have just started to sprout wings. Okay. So that’s us done on the questions that Ash is asking when we’d like to, not like to, when could we come to Hawaii? Ash, I’d love to, but it’s world cup year. So when I’m finishing this season. I will start my world cup preparations. It may, as soon as that draw is done, I will be starting my world cup preparations. Then I’m already covering the south Americans, the central, the African, the Asian, the oceanic.

Speaker 1:

And it’s going to be crazy. This brain has to grow a little bit to get some more room. Okay. Official picks time. As I put up the official picks. It was a good time for me to remind you to subscribe and get us closer to 4,000 subscribers on the bet US soccer channel. I remind you also, within two weeks time is champions league on the Monday. Pavlos, welcome back. Roman. Hope you get well better, by your very white impression it’s going down great.
