Speaker 1:
Welcome to the BetUS Soccer Channel. I’m Flash. It’s the FA Cup Show. It’s quarterfinals. That means there’s the last eight, and one side outside of the Premier League is guaranteed a semi-final occasion. Been involved in quite a few of the cup semi-finals over the years, and absolutely, they are memories, but also, it’s the worst time to get beat. You want to get to the final, semi-final, final hurdle. It’s either jubilation or it’s tears. Now, we are America’s favorite sportsbook, so I’d like you to subscribe and also ring the bell, which means shows like today, we would’ve told you, and you will not miss. I’m on my own, and I’ll look into the chat from time to time.
You can give me your opinions as well. I think goals and fortune will favor the brave. We’ve got some lopsided games, but we’ve also got games where we’re going to get plenty of value if we give the underdog a little bit of credit, and I think that at this stage, you’ve just got to go for it. So I think that we’ve got to give the underdog some credit, even if that means just then contributions on the scoresheet. Let’s go for our first game, because it’s massive. It’s Man City versus Burnley. Man City coming off of whooping Leipzig by seven, but there’s a little bit of a affiliation here, because the Burnley manager is obviously the old Man City captain and legend, Vincent Kompany. So what we’re going to expect now, first of all, we’re going to have to look at the lines, because we know that Man City are going to be heavy favorites, so we have to put a line through the money line.
The money line’s at minus 550, which, really, Burnley are a Premier League side all but in stature, because next year they will be joining the Premier League. Man City, do they score three? Because if they score three, we’re going to over 2.5 minus 105. Do we expect Burnley to score? Because Burnley to score is at plus 105. I’m not sure. Burnley are a decent side. I think they’re going to go there, and they’re going to make sure that they are well-organized. I’m looking in the chat here. “I wonder if Burnley fully go for it.” Of course they’ll go… Well, it’s a free pass for them. They can actually go there, enjoy the occasion, and it will give them a little bit of taste of what it’s like to play, obviously, a Premier League side, but then the Premier League giants, and, possibly, the Premier League champions.
I see Man City scoring three. I think it’s a toss of a coin, as the odds, say about Burnley scoring, but I expect rotation, but the players that are coming in, like Alcaraz, maybe anytime goalscorer for him. I expect maybe Mahrez comes in, Foden comes in for Grealish. They’re all internationals coming in for internationals. I wonder if the occasion might just get to the visitors. So my official pick here is I think that Man City score three. So I’m going with the over 2.5 goals, just for Man City, at minus 105. If Burnley score, then good luck to them, but I only see Man City winning this game. Push me for a result, I’d say that it’s 3-nil, 3-1; an absolute [inaudible 00:03:23]. I’d like Alcaraz to score, or Foden to score, at any time. Let’s move on to game number two.
Off to my old home city, and we’re off to Sheffield, but it’s the red and white of Sheffield United taking on Blackburn. Very, very tight game. The occasion and the emotion is going to be high because one of these two are obviously guaranteed to play in the semi-final, both championship sides. Sheffield United’s the stronger for me, the more aggressive, but Blackburn are a little bit more patient. They like to play the ball around. Again, I think this is going to be a game where we’re going to see goals. When we look at the lines, rightfully so, the home side are favorites, but Blackburn have got nothing to lose here, and they’re not exactly looking up, and they’re massive underdogs, because although they’re plus 425, Sheffield United are minus 160. No value there. That is wrong, because Blackburn could win this 2-1, Sheffield United could win this 2-1. I don’t see any clean sheets. So let’s look at the bottom, because Sheffield United not to score twice is plus 100. Blackburn are plus 135 not to score.
So then we’ve got to be looking at the total over 2.5 Is minus 120. Rick says it’s too close to call. That’s where we’re going to get the value, I believe, because if we go with both teams to score an over, it’s plus 135. I think both teams could score first off. I think Sheffield United come out right out the traps. I think Blackburn are going to have their chances as well. Goals; I see goals. Push me, I would say she Sheffield United win, but I just think that the best way to go here is the high energy. Maybe Sheffield United nick it later on, but no clean sheets. Let’s have a little over two. Cursed808 says, “Over 2.5 both teams to score.” Danny Lopez, “Sheffield an under 3.5.” I think they’re all viable options, but for me, I’m going with the both teams to score an over, and not care who wins. Good luck to them, and enjoy the semi-final as much as you possibly can because of fancy there’s going to be a big gun waiting for you. So it’s both teams to score over 2.5 at plus 135.
Let’s move on to game number three, because this is the lowest ranked-side still in the competition. They’re rewarded with a trip to the south coast. It’s Brighton versus Grimsby. Grimsby have been unbelievable; knocked out South Hampton in the last round, and that weren’t a fluke. They actually earned it, scored goals. They’ve scored goals, home and away, in every single round. So, for me, I think we’ve got to have a little look at the lines. Brighton are going to be overwhelming favorites. Brighton are, obviously, one of the top six or seven sides in the Premier League on [inaudible 00:06:15]. They go all out, and that’s why we’re looking at a total here of over 3.5 at minus 120, but I don’t see Brighton scoring three goals. I think Grimsby are going to be well-organized. I’ve got this game maybe 2-1, Grimsby to score at minus 105.
I think that’s definitely a way to go, but what about Brighton to win and both teams to score? That’s around plus 175. Money line’s at minus 900. I don’t give Grimsby much of a shot, because Brighton, this is a real opportunity for them to reward themselves with a semi-final for the season they’ve had and deserve it. As I said, he’s a front foot manager, and he’ll be looking to score goals, but minus 150 says they score three. I’m not looking for them to score three in my bet. I’m going to go with Brighton to score a minimum of two; Grimsby get on the scoresheet, though. Maybe give him a scare, but maybe 3-1, that will do. 2-1 is even better, because it means we get cashed in a really, really tight game.
Got to give these a little bit of credit, Grimsby. Minus 105 for them to score, or you go with the plus 175 for Brighton to win and both teams to score. So that will be my pick. Look, I said Blackburn won the last [inaudible 00:07:34]. Exactly, it’s a really, really tight game, that one, but Brighton and both teams to score at plus 175. I’ll tell you what we’d love: Grimsby to take the lead, and then Brighton peg them back with superior fitness, and, obviously, in front of their home crowd. I think that’s a really nice price at plus 175. So we’re looking, the trend at the moment, it’s just all about goals, and I don’t think it’s going to stop here, because it’s Manchester United versus Fulham. Man United, obviously, two duck eggs in a row getting [inaudible 00:08:07] by Liverpool, and then drawing with 10 men. Obviously, Casemiro being sent off, again to Southampton, but returning to winning ways and keeping a clean sheet away in Europe midweek away at Betis.
Let’s have a little look at these numbers, because a lot of people might be thinking, “Okay, let’s go with a shock here,” and if you want to go with a shock, Fulham are plus 650, Man United are minus 250, but Man United to win by 2 clear goals is plus 120. Plus 160 for Man United to score three, but Fulham are minus 150 just to get on the scoresheet. Well, we know that Fulham score goals. Fulham are involved in goals even if they get beat 4-2. Now, I’ve got here plus 220 for Man United to win and both teams to score, and I think that the players that are going to come in for Man United are going to have a real opportunity, and want to keep their place. Fulham, I say, they’re neat, they’re tidy, and they could scare Man United. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fulham took an early lead here, and then, obviously, the plus 220 is really live.
I’m just having a little look here. Danny Lopez says, “I like first off over 1.5.” I fancy he’s talking about one of the other games, but Manchester United: total is over 3 plus 105, but Man United scoring 3 at plus 160. I think that’ll have its favorites. Because it’s a cup game, if Fulham are behind here, they’ve got to overload in the last 20 minutes. Fresh legs come off the bench. Man United may put them to the sword. So my selection here is going to be Manchester United to win, and both teams to score at plus 220. In all the games we have had so far, this is the only one I feel as it could be a clean sheet. It’s Man United versus Burnley, because I do believe that Grimsby will score, I believe Blackburn will score, they’re all the visitors, and here, I feel Fulham will score again, and listen, it’s one of those, they’ve got to go.
The semi-final awaits one of these lower sides, obviously, at Sheffield United, but we could have a Manchester United, a Man United/Man City, a Manchester derby. I would love to see that in the semi-final, and maybe we’ll see a Brighton/Sheffield United or Brighton/Blackburn. [inaudible 00:10:23] that would be absolutely brilliant [inaudible 00:10:24] we see one of the lower fashionable sides at Wembley. So let’s have a little look at the official Soccer picks, please. Man United at under 3.5 or halftime [inaudible 00:10:35]. Well, listen, if Man United win 2-1, we will be very happy, since Man’s City team total’s over 2.5 at minus 105. Sheffield United and Blackburn, both teams scoring over 2.5 plus 135. Couldn’t pick the winner there, but I expect Sheffield United to go for it and Blackburn to hang on in there.
Brighton and both teams to score at plus 175, giving Grimsby a little bit of kudos to the way that they’ve been rewarded, really, throughout the FA Cup run with their mentality, and Man United and both teams to score, massive plus 220. Don’t see clean sheets at Old Trafford, but I see Man United coming out on the top.
