Europa League Quarter-Finals

Flash:

Welcome to the BetUS Soccer Channel.

Flash:

I’m Flash, and it’s Europa League show quarter finals, which means there’s eight teams, there’s four matches, over two legs, no away goal, so no incentive for the away team to jump in and maybe get something in the away legs.

Flash:

So maybe we will see a little bit of conservative play, and we may even see someone take the bull by the horns and end this in week one.

Flash:

Now, we are America’s favorite sportsbook, so I ask you to subscribe to the BetUS soccer channel and get us closer to 5,000 subscribers, but also ring the bell. Ring the bell means you’ll never miss any content again, which is a massive bonus because today, look at the smile. It’s the masters. We’re going up, Magnolia Lane, we’re going to smell the azaleas, and we’re going to sit around for amen corner for four days.

Flash:

But before that, there’s business to deal with, and if you’re on social media, I’d like you to go to Twitter and go to the BetUS soccer Twitter site, or Twitter handle, Twitter page, and make sure you follow them because there will be updated plays from every one of my guests from now until the end of the season.

Flash:

And then following next season, if they like something, they see something in a lineup, they will put it on there, so you will not miss. There was a winner at the weekend. I’ve just done one now. So get yourself over there and have a little look and make sure you’re in the chat.

Flash:

Now representing the La Liga lowdown and La Liga in general is Barcelona maestro Roman and from Bundesliga, and the owner of last minute goals to get you to the window to make sure you cash is @AlexClassicTips.

Flash:

Now we will have a Q and A, we are going to cover all four games, regardless if there’s official soccer picks , but there is official picks. I didn’t see any bankers, but maybe one or two of us might add something. Now, Roman, you know we’re sitting pretty with Barcelona, a new look Barcelona, by the way, we got them at +800. Then now, +155 to lift the title.

Roman:

Yeah, I mean, Barcelona just keep getting better. I have to say the game against Sevilla this weekend was very good. Only one goal because Sevilla we know are one of the best defenses in La Liga, a tough team to beat, but I think Barca got that goal and even maybe deserved a few more maybe deserved a few more because they were really good going forward.

Roman:

And I think this is going to be reflected in the Europa league and it’s been kind of reflected in previous games and I think we can keep up with this level, and they’re definitely favorites, I think at the moment to lift the Europa league this season.

Flash:

Oh, the streets ahead. They are streets ahead. And the big thing, Alex, I love about Barcelona, not seen it for many a year is they just want to get the ball in the box, score goals and entertain, and they seem to be loving life.

Alex:

Yeah. And they create a lot. It’s a fast pace, which we love to see in this Barcelona that in the first half of the season, it was never there. But right now under Xavi, with new players, many signings to come in summer, I think that Barcelona will pose a big threat next year. In La Liga also, I think that they will fight for the title, but till that time, this is their chance to shine and win something. This is right.

Flash:

Yeah. Without a doubt.

Roman:

Indeed.

Flash:

I mean, we, obviously, the wise ones amongst us jumped on up +800 now, +155 means if they get to the final, we can have both sides. We can have both sides of the draw, we can just do as we like, because it will be cash, and that’s why you obviously seek and watch and get yourselves in the chat. I want plenty.

Flash:

We’re going to go through all four games. We’re also going to highlight the price of them to win the title, but we’re going to find the value for teams to either win the game, score goals, keep clean sheets.

Flash:

So let’s kick straight off. I’m going to come to you first, Alex, because our first game involves one of your regular protagonists and it’s RB Leipzig versus Atalanta. RB Leipzig -125, off an unbelievable win at the weekend. So, so dominant, and if you follow the advice from Bundesliga, a +275, and obviously we had the over three goals as well. Atalanta, up +335, disappointing from them at the weekend and getting beat at home 3-1 by Napoli.

Flash:

The drawers at +290, but the under over is at 2.5, but it’s juiced at -160. So maybe you look at the alternate lines.

Flash:

Alex, I’ll be RB Leipzig going from strength to strength. Atalanta not at full strength themselves may just have to try and be a little bit conservative here.

Alex:

Yeah. Atalanta with a huge ups and downs this season. Huge, and most important is that still Duván Zapata, and I think that is until the rest of the season it’s missing, and you can see that in their, their game. It’s clear that their best striker is missing.

Alex:

Also against Napoli, I think that they were nowhere, to be found. They dominated the first half of the match, but they went immediately two goals down. Insigne and Politano, and after that, Elmas made it 3-1, and that’s about it.

Alex:

On the other side, as you mentioned, the RB Leipzig with a huge win and more impressive, it was that they let the ball, because if you look at the stats a little bit, and if you watch the game, Dortmund dominated. It was so clever from RB Leipzig to win the ball in very dangerous areas and to strike on the break.

Flash:

We called that, didn’t we? Did we not say that is exactly how the game would go? And Leipzig would go up then obviously Dortmund would over go and Leipzig would then just put them to the sword.

Alex:

Exactly. And I was praying for that to Dortmund goal, because I had also the Alex classic in that game. And when they were 3-0, I said, “Oh my God, what, what we are doing here?” But hopefully, happily Dortmund score and after that RB Leipzig closed it in style.

Alex:

In my opinion, RB Leipzig are the second favorite is to win this competition. I see a final with Barcelona. What a nice game we will have if that will happen. I think that it’ll be the most entertaining game of the season, in my opinion, because RB Leipzig, as you saw against Dortmund, and also against other teams, they are not afraid of playing football. They are not afraid of going from strength to strength with any team, no matter the name of the team.

Alex:

So against Atalanta, and most important at home, I know that you will say to me that at Atalanta have a better record on the road than on their turf, but I think that RB Leipzig right now, full of confidence, scoring goals for fun, and what, what is very important is the fact that many players are scoring in that RB Leipzig team, not only in Nkunku or Silva or whoever, they have also a Dani Olmo that played a great role against Dortmund.

Alex:

So I don’t know, but I fancy RB Leipzig to win, and yes, if we are talking about goals, the -160 is too low for me to take. But I think that we will have at least three goals on the score sheet.

Flash:

Yeah. I see Leipzig, Roman, exactly the same as when we sniffed Real Betis. Hitting form and hitting confidence, scoring goals, and just basically beating everyone before them.

Flash:

I see that RB Leipzig, -125. I wouldn’t go it’s too mad, but I think that RB Leipzig -1 is a complete free hit. But if you don’t want to complicate it, the -125, Leipzig far too strong in nearly every single department at the moment.

Roman:

Yeah. I mean, as you said, I think Leipzig are in great form at the moment, and if you’re maybe afraid that Atalanta could kind of surprise them, then just go for goals. Because I mean, Leipzig are guaranteed goals, especially in European competitions. In their last six games in Europe, they scored 16 goals. That’s 2.7 goals per game, so I mean, their offensive capabilities are just fantastic.

Roman:

And as Alex said, they’re not shy of going forward. If they have to wait, they’ll wait, but they’re going to have the breaks, they’re going to have the counters, or they’re going to try and control the game if they see an opportunity. So, I mean, they have plenty of quality, they score plenty of goals.

Roman:

I mean, playing at home, I think it’s a great shot, so for me, Atalanta are a bit unfortunate to maybe not go through their best streak. Some injuries there, and losing against Napoli is definitely going to affect their confidence a bit, but they’re going to try and keep it up because in Europe, I think they surprised us quite a lot with comfortably getting passed by Bayard Leverkusen, even though in the second leg, they were missing their most important players, but in the first game, they still were pretty good, but I just don’t see them doing the same thing against Leipzig, and I think they should get the win, at least in this first leg.

Alex:

I think that if we’re talking a little bit about stats, as Roman mentioned a little bit, it’s very important to say that RB Leipzig have only lost once in the last 15 fixtures across our competitions, each of their European fixtures this season produced over 2.5 goals in the match, so every single one of them, and also both team score have landed in seven of eight European fixture decision.

Alex:

So if you’re brave enough to go with RB Leipzig to win and both team to score or RB Leipzig to win, and over 2.5 goals in the match, or only go for the Alex classic and doesn’t matter who wins this game, both teams to score and over 2.5, I think that all of those winning material you now, in my opinion.

Flash:

Yeah. Well, I found one at +150 and I’m going to add it. I mean, I haven’t done it as the official, because again, I thought there was so much value. I wanted to be a little bit patient. I’ve gone for Leipzig to be winning at half time at +150. I just cannot, I think Leipzig come out the traps. I don’t think Atalanta can defend. And also with Atlanta, they haven’t got the pace and energy on the break. So they’re going to have to try and sit back and almost subdue a home side who are like a runaway train.

Flash:

I see, as you said earlier, Leipzig’s movement. Leipzig belief, and this is the big thing that you see with Leipzig as we did with Betis when we was on the back of them is they have so much confidence in their teammates. What I mean by that is they pass the ball and they make runs because they know that that is either going to give the player on the ball more time, or they’re going to give the player on the ball more options. So for me, I really like Leipzig halftime, just 45 minutes, maybe 46, +150.

Alex:

You would say that Atalanta already played a German side in the previous round, they played Leverkusan and they won both games home on the road. The second leg was in Germany and they won 1-0, but after Leverkusen dominated the entire game.

Alex:

But you have to look deep into these matches because as we previously talked about in the Bundasliga show, Leverkusen are without their most important player, their play maker, Floran Wirtz, who is out till the end of the season and their right back, Frimpong, again, until the end of the season. And most important, their top scorer Patrick Schick was out for both legs.

Alex:

So here with RB Leipzig is different. They have all the players at their disposal for this double [inaudible 00:11:29] and they’re on fire. They’re scoring goals for fun and that’s it. They are the better team in my opinion.

Flash:

In the chat. We’ve got blue shark saying Atalanta to win. I don’t see that.

Alex:

Yeah, I think [crosstalk 00:11:42]. The type of guy that wants to go, okay, everybody’s on Leipzig, me, I will go [crosstalk 00:11:50].

Flash:

Squares. Okay, you can go against the squares. The sharks don’t always win, but in this case, and what Leipzig, Roman?

Flash:

Because obviously I’m going to put the official picks up along the bottom, but what about Leipzig at -140 to qualify over the two legs?

Roman:

I think that’s also a very reasonable bet, honestly. They’re clearly the favorites for me, even though Atalanta are dangerous sides, they can also score goals, but we’ve been saying that it’s tricky, to take into account what happened against Leverkusen because as Alex just mentioned, there lots of setbacks for Leverkusen, which actually helped Atalanta in a way.

Roman:

And they’re just not given that confidence they would be giving against teams such as Napoli as we saw in the Serie A, where they would be usually a competitive side which would fight until the end, but they got pretty much thrashed in that game.

Roman:

So I mean, it’s hard to see Atalanta getting through. And honestly, I think it would make a lot of sense to go for Leipzig qualifying.

Alex:

So if you are scared of betting on Leipzig or betting on Atalanta to win this game, just go for goals, goals all around. The Alex classic. Both team to score and over 2.5. And no matter who wins, you cash.

Flash:

Yeah. I like the 3-1, though. I like the two I’ll at halftime. I get my +150 because I’ve added that. RB Leipzig and over 1.5 goals at +140 for Roman. Roman does like his value.

Flash:

RB Leipzig money line -125. Not complicating it.

Flash:

And for me it is Leipzig halftime, just to be leading at half time at a massive +150. And I think all three of us agree, thumbs up the Leipzig to through?

Roman:

Yeah.

Flash:

Excellent. Okay. So Leipzig go through it is at -140. If you wanted to do a qualification parlay, maybe.

Flash:

Okay. Let’s move on to the second game because I think they’ll be polarized here, but I think we definitely see goals. Braga versus Rangers. It’s Braga at +140. That’s a big price. Rangers +205.

Flash:

The big one for me, and I couldn’t understand this Roman for the life of me was the total at 2.5 with the over being a plus money.

Flash:

Neither of these sides keeps clean sheets. Neither of these sides, they just go all out to win, and the only thing that worries me is maybe a little bit of nervousness from the home side. The draw is at +235, but surely, goals are on the cards here.

Roman:

Yeah. As you said at first, I think you look into that and you see quite a lot of value in that sense, because I think both teams, as you said, go forward, like to score goals. We saw, for example, with the Braga this weekend against Benefica, where they managed to be them 2-3. They conceded, but at the same time they were generating lots of opportunities against a very decent team in Portugal.

Roman:

Of course is not the Benefica from seasons behind, but still it’s a team which isn’t easy to beat and Braga had a very good performance and they scored three, but they had more chances than just those three to go up in goals. And we saw it also in the European league, in the competition where they’re a team that like to go forward. They’re not shy in the only thing as you said I might worry a bit is whether they try and maybe to be more tidy at the back, be cautious because we saw what Rangers could do, for example, against Borussia Dortmund. They also have a lot of potential going forward.

Roman:

[inaudible 00:14:47] side is really well worked, even though they did lose against Celtics in that 2-1 in the local league, but I mean, I just don’t really see that happening. The fact that there’s a few goals, I think both sides are going to have their opportunities and both sides are going to end up scoring. So if you’re brave enough to go for that over 2.5, I think it makes a lot of sense.

Flash:

Cool. You don’t have to be brave though do you Alex, because it’s +105. It’s +105. I thought if you said to me, “Flash,” and I’m not normally that far out. Been doing this for years, if you said to me, “Over 2.5 goals in this game blind,” I’m thinking -130. And it says +105. Alex, please tell me I’m not tripping here.

Alex:

No, you’re not, and this is the way I’m going this much. First of all, I was looking at the home win here. But after I did a little bit of research, I went directly with the goals market. We called the Braga to qualify further with Monaco, if you remember in the previous round, and that was a great win at +250 for the Portuguese outfit to qualify the competition.

Alex:

I still fancy them to have a great chance here against Rangers. Rangers poor on the road against the Red Star Belgrade last time, but they qualified due to that 3-0 win on home soil. But again, they’re a little bit deflated because they lost the derby 2-1 against the Celtic. Probably it’s the match that in which they lost the domestic title because they are now six points behind the Celtic in Scotland and in the premiership.

Alex:

So I think that they will go all in to go for the trophy here. I don’t think that they have any chance to win the trophy, even though they, they’re thinking to qualify further, but I still fancy Braga to win this one and to take a good for the next, for the second leg to qualify further, so +140, I wouldn’t put no one off of that home win, but I think that the best bet and the most clever bet for this leg is over 2.5 goals at +1105, because as you mentioned before, none of the two teams can keep clean sheets.

Flash:

Exactly. I think I’ve come up with, for a change, I think I’ve come up with the best bet here. And it’s Braga’s team total. Yesterday over 1.5 goals was +150. This morning, it’s now team total over 1.5 at +145.

Flash:

Listen, I think they could score two goals in this game and still not win the game, so I’m going to get a bigger price for them just scoring twice than for the +140 to go and win the game. But I wouldn’t be a hundred percent sure that they do score twice.

Flash:

Let’s have a little look at the official picks because we see this being an absolute basketball match. I’ve gone Braga team total over 1.5 at +145. Remember it was +150, so there is a weight going on Braga to score twice. Over 2.5 at +105. As I said, I see that being 35 cents in our favor. I really thought that could have been a mistake, but then obviously we don’t know how Rangers are going to attack this game.

Alex:

I think that you’re on a correct spot there with Braga to score twice. They score twice against Mittelland in Europa League. They score twice, at home, I’m talking.

Flash:

Yes.

Alex:

Against [inaudible 00:18:27] they scored four times. Against Sheriff Tiraspol they score three, against Monaco they scored two. So I think that you are making a great point. The only time that they fail to score twice at home in the European competitions, this season was against exactly Red Star. 1-1 on [crosstalk 00:18:59].

Flash:

And Red Star are 95% containment as well, anyway. Now listen, I think Braga, if they score two, then obviously great, and we’re all heroes, but they will create enough chances to score twice, whether they do or not [crosstalk 00:19:13].

Roman:

Aren’t you guys afraid that Morelos isn’t going to be available because I mean, he’s been pretty important for [crosstalk 00:19:19].

Alex:

Yeah, Morelos is out, by the way. [crosstalk 00:19:20].

Flash:

But that’s why we don’t want to be with Rangers [inaudible 00:19:24] Braga [crosstalk 00:19:24].

Alex:

Also Haji is out for the entire season, so that is a huge miss also.

Flash:

Is he much of a benefit to them? Haji?

Alex:

Yeah, he’s, he’s a great benefit to them, but unfortunately…

Flash:

I knew you’d say great.

Alex:

But of course.

Flash:

Where’s he from, Haji?

Alex:

He’s son of the king of the Carpathian football.

Flash:

Is that Romania?

Alex:

Exactly.

Flash:

Another family member. You always get them in. You always get the family members in. Anyway, we’re all with Braga and we’re all with goals. Okay. So we’re only with Braga as long as they score two and if Rangers win 3-2 then we’re all happy as well.

Flash:

Okay. Let’s move on to game the number three, because I left this game alone only because I’m sitting with a +800 ticket, but Frankfurt versus Barcelona. Frankfurt +375, Barcelona at -150.

Flash:

Wouldn’t put anyone off of the Barcelona and Leipzig parlay at -125 and -150. The draw is at +320. Under over is at three. Barcelona to score twice at -155 tells you everything. Roman, why don’t you tell me all about your beloved Barcelona, because obviously we’ll have the Bundasliga side from Alex. I’m going to have a little look and see what half time full time is for the away side.

Roman:

Well, I have to say that if I had any doubts about Barcelona, I think after these two games against Madrid and Sevilla, they’ve kind of dissipated, because they’re consistent, they’re playing really good football. They’re very offensive, but much more offensive than they were maybe a few months ago or, or at the end of last year.

Roman:

They look so good, they generate really good chances and they have the quality to finish them off right now, thanks to the signings they brought in, especially in the winter transfer market. And if they’re not sharp enough, you have guys like Pedri who can come up, Gabi, et cetera, which are also quality. And I mean, I just kind of feel like this momentum is going to go on into this Europa League.

Roman:

Of course it’s going to be a tough game. We saw what Frankfurt can do. They’re dangerous. They were good against the Real Betis, but of course this is not Betis. I think this is going to be a tougher fight for them. I don’t discard that they can maybe score goals, even though Barca have also improved in that sense. Offensively they look more solid.

Roman:

It’s getting harder for teams to score against them now because there’s more organization at the back and they’re not losing the ball in such silly positions, which allows teams to counter. Even though, seeing that they’re playing away, that’s a possibility, I clearly see, at least I see Barcelo winning this match.

Roman:

I’m not saying it’s going to be a massive score line. Probably maybe a 2-1 or something like that, or a two nil, but I do see them winning probably both games and qualifying to the next round

Flash:

Roman, a big thing with Barcelona is that yes, they’re defending so much better. That’s because the opposition are so far back. They pushed them back. They’re almost defending on their own penalty spot.

Flash:

So that means you’ve almost got 85 yards to see the ball coming. It’s not like, as you say, they’re not giving it away because the little front screens getting it off the keeper and doing stupid passes. Busquets looks like he’s 23 again.

Flash:

It’s amazing the way that some kind of confidence, belief, movement, and ruthlessness, that’s coming into this Barcelona side.

Flash:

But that’s okay. Roman, before I go to Alex, because he’s going to give us the German point of view here. What happened with Barcelona away in Galatasaray?

Roman:

Well, I mean, yeah. I think we were all surprised. To be honest, Galatasaray, we have to give them a lot of credit because they really worked their defense. Were you asking me about the second leg or the first leg in Barcelona?

Flash:

Yeah. The second leg. The away leg, yeah.

Roman:

Okay. Yeah, I mean, but in the end they did get the results, if I’m not mistaken, right?

Flash:

Yeah.

Roman:

I mean they managed to go through and all that, but it was tough. [crosstalk 00:23:05].

Alex:

You are not because otherwise they wouldn’t be here.

Roman:

Oh no, exactly. That’s what I mean. I mean, [crosstalk 00:23:12].

Flash:

What I’m saying is I’m looking at Barcelona half time, full time at +150, again, it seems to be a magic type of number for these games that I’m sniffing out. But what I’m saying is, against Galatasaray, they, they took their time. They should showed a different type of Barcelona.

Roman:

Yeah. That’s why I was saying I was a bit worried to see that I had some doubts, because Barca were not consistent in all the games. They had these kind of games now and then against maybe weaker sides where they were not performing to the level we saw against Sevilla and Madrid, but now I think they’re going to be capable of not making the same mistake. I think they’re going to be much full on.

Roman:

I don’t think, Alex will tell us, but I don’t think Frankfurt is going to play the same style as Galatasaray, which are basically close at the back really, really tightly near the back just way for those counters.

Roman:

I think Frankfurt will try and get their opportunity, especially playing at home, where it’s going to be their best scenario to actually make the most of this tie so that’s why I don’t think it’s going to be the same similar outcome of a game as we saw against Galatasaray.

Flash:

Okay. Alex, and what threat does Frankfurt actually pose? Can they get the better of Barcelona over two legs and will they score? Do you think they score in this first leg? Because the three looks like a push at worst case at +105.

Alex:

So listen, this is the match of the century for them. The match of the season of the last 10 years of the last 20 years for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Alex:

They had 250,000 requests for tickets. 250,000 requests for tickets. And they got only of course, 48,500. The stadium will be fully packed with their supporters. The atmosphere will be crazy. Of course, that the players will feel the need to give everything on the pitch. And this is why I’m staying away from this match because I’ve seen Barcelona with Galatasaray home and also away.

Alex:

Probably they will win because normally on paper they are by far the better side. Given Frankfurt the struggles in recent weeks, I still think that Frankfurt need a proper goal scorer. I think that Boray is not a threat for the striker.

Alex:

I think that in the summer they will find someone better and show us that they want to fight for a top four finish next season in Bundasliga, but until the time they have to cope with what they have right now at their disposal and the best player on the pitch for them is my cousin, Mr. Costage, so no doubt about that.

Flash:

Yeah, offensively he’s going to be running the wrong way though. Offensively he’s going to have to track back because [crosstalk 00:26:02].

Alex:

I think that he’ll be dominated by the youngsters in that Barcelona squad, right?

Flash:

The Barcelona full backs go forward and have a higher position than the right and left wingers.

Alex:

Yes, exactly. So you are right from our point of view. Probably the pressure will be on Eintracht because Barcelona have the second leg also.

Alex:

The experience at this level and playing against Barcelona will put too much pressure on some of the players who are not exactly capable of playing at this level. Yes, it was an incredible win against Real Betis and credits to them for that, but Barcelona are another animal here and seeing Barcelona dominate in such a way, Sevilla, at this level right now fighting for that second spot in the La Liga standings, I thought that we are in 2016. Not in 2022 after what happened in the first half of the season.

Alex:

So probably Barcelona will win this one, but I don’t think that it’ll be very, very comfortable. I think that the match will be cagey. I think the time track will try to protect the draw here. Probably they will score, probably not, but again, the unexperienced players will be the key factor to this match in my opinion, and Barcelona should win.

Flash:

Okay. Let’s have a real look at the official picks. I’ve actually backed out of the halftime full time with Barcelona because I think they have a maturity about them. Yes, I think they’re going to score, yes I think they’re going to win, but I found another way. Barcelona, an over 1.5 for the Barcelona fan, but don’t let that misguide you because he doesn’t often go with Barcelona and that’s at +120. I’m actually going to look for a bit of council here. What about Liepzig money line, Barcelona money line, parlay, plus +200?

Alex:

Only +200?

Flash:

Only? I lay awake at night dreaming of +200.

Roman:

I think it’s pretty good.

Flash:

Yeah, I do as well. Okay. So we’ll do that. Anyone in the chat doesn’t like it, then we’ll have a little chat at the end when I do the official pick. So there it is Barcelona and over 1.5 at +120. Game number three done. By the way, Barcelona +155 favorites, Frankfurt +1600 to go and lift the Europa League this year.

Flash:

Last game, we’re going to go to East London. We’re going to go to the London stadium and it’s Westham versus Lyon. Westham very, very strong. Lyon, very, very strong. What gives Westham +100? Trap or a gift? I mean, I don’t think they get beat. I’m not a hundred percent sure that +100 you get paid.

Flash:

Lyon at +275. The draw is at +250. The under over is at 2.5 with the under being the favorite at -120 Alex. I’m not sure we see three goals here. I think that Westham Lyon, they both meet in the mid. I can see this being nil nil, 1-1. One nil, maybe.

Alex:

They’ll cancel each other for sure. I don’t see a lot of goals in this one. I don’t, so I don’t see Westham conceding in this one, so if you’re going with both to score, know that’s an option. We’re talking about physicality in Westham versus creativity in Lyon side, but with the only worry that Lyon are missing some of their key players, Caqueret, Cherki, and [inaudible 00:29:38] the most important one Toko Ekambi. The Cameroon international is missing this one.

Alex:

Still, they have Dembélé, and they have the new guy who, who scored in the 3-2 victory with [inaudible 00:29:55] at the weekend. They have Tetê, the new Brazilian. 22 years old. That he was playing with [inaudible 00:30:03].

Alex:

As you know, many foreign players from Ukraine had the ability to get transferred to another team after the war started in Ukraine. And I think that Lyon did a great, great signing in taking Tetê from this team. On his debut he already scored, and I think that with Toko Ekambi missing, I think that he’s the player to watch once again. We’re talking about physicality in Westham with Bowen, with Michail Antonio, with [crosstalk 00:30:41].

Flash:

They’ve got about six walking wardrobes, Alex. Declan Rice is 6’2. I mean, they are so dangerous at set pieces.

Alex:

Exactly.

Flash:

They will not get broken down because the big thing about Lyon is they’ve got strong athletes, but the thing is with Lyon, that they rely on individual…

Alex:

Individual creativity, exactly.

Flash:

Yeah, exactly. They’re not joined. It’s almost like go on, like under 15 football, you got that big lump up front who’s quicker and bigger than anyone else over the top and he scores, but they’re reliance on the strong individual players.

Alex:

You were saying about not seeing too many goals. Me too. At the first view, you don’t see, but I’m a little bit worried about Lyon’s struggles to keep a clean sheet. They allow many, many goals, the decision, and this is a problem for them. Westham, they know that if they win a comfortable 2-0 here they go through, that’s it.

Flash:

But the market’s at 2.5, Alex. I can see, [crosstalk 00:31:39].

Alex:

This is why I said. Exactly. This is why I’m going straight money line here. I don’t see where Lyon breaking down Westham so easy. And I think that on the other side, on set pieces, Westham are so dangerous against this such a, not necessarily not athletic team of Lyon, but [crosstalk 00:32:04].

Flash:

Pedestrian.

Alex:

Exactly.

Flash:

They don’t see danger. Yeah, I get that.

Alex:

So yeah, I think that all the information, all the reasoning here are going with a straight Westham win and maybe that 2-0 correct score with a very, very small stake should be a nice winner.

Flash:

Yeah. Either that or Westham 1-0, Roman.

Roman:

Yeah, I guess that, definitely sorry that Westham are favorites here. Although I had too many doubts, I just wasn’t sure if it was going to be, going to see lots of goal, or if we’re going to see a few goals, it’s going to be a tight win by Westham or even a draw, because I think both sides were pretty surprising in the previous round.

Roman:

They both eliminated better sides than themselves, like with Porto and with Sevilla, of course. It was quite unexpected to see them both go through, but they made it and they can have that momentum, I think in European competition thinking that they were playing well, they got the results they needed.

Roman:

And at the same time, I just don’t know, because I mean, both, both teams have high XGAs, but at the same time, both teams concede, so in that sense, it’s pretty tricky. It’s pretty hard to say, but Alex said, I don’t think it’s going to be a massive scoreline. Logic says that it’s going to be probably something like a one nil, 2-1, something like that.

Roman:

But it’s also going to be tough to see Lyon scoring in a way, taking into account they’re missing Ekambi and they’re not going to look as good at up front. So for me, take into account, I had so, so many doubts. I can’t even explain them properly. That’s why I decided to pass in the end.

Flash:

Yeah. Let’s have a little look at the official picks because I think that it’s going to be bonkers. The crowd are going to be completely crazy. I’ve gone with the under 2.5 at -120. And how often do you see me go with the unders and how often do you see me be happy with a -120.

Flash:

Westham money line. Not complicating it for Alex at +100. Thinks that Westtown will be too strong, but also indicates he thinks they’ll be the under. Sorry, Alex.

Alex:

Sorry. Let’s not forget that there’s a big, big possibility for the winner of this double leg to play Barcelona in the semifinals and imagine how crazy the fans will be of Westham to see a semifinal at their stadium involving Barcelona, so I think that there is also a small reason for that home win.

Flash:

Okay. Mark’s been a massive Westham fan. He’s like, come on, flashback the hammers. I don’t see them getting beat. That, that’s as far as I’ll go, Mark. I do see the unders, and that’s why, listen, I’m happy for Westham to win. I’m not going against them, I’m just going against the over 2.5.

Flash:

Now, Q and A. I know we’ve covered all four games, but if you want something to say, then now is I’m to type it.

Flash:

Flash:

Okay. Let’s have a little look.

Alex:

I have one.

Flash:

You have a question?

Alex:

Yeah. Earlier someone putting it on the live chat. Conference League [crosstalk 00:35:32].

Flash:

That’s why I blanked [crosstalk 00:35:35].

Alex:

Lester against the PSV money line for me [crosstalk 00:35:37].

Flash:

Yeah. Tell him to write an email, Pepe will get back to him

Alex:

+115.

Flash:

Conference league, we don’t do that. Pepe does that. [inaudible 00:35:46]. They think Lester will win it, do they? I think it’s just a much of a muchness and…

Flash:

Do you bet the conference league, Alex?

Alex:

Absolutely, man.

Flash:

You’re off your head. You’re crazy. Men in white coats are just coming around the corner.

Flash:

Mitch who’s always a good value and always finds some value along with Barca man, he thinks, do you like over 4.5 cards in the Atletico match and Liverpool money line at +169?

Flash:

I thought we said that Atletico over 2.5 individual cards.

Alex:

Exactly.

Flash:

Leave it at that. Don’t be looking for over 4.5 because you just never know. Man City might not even get booked. Just over 2.5 for Atletico is the way to go.

Alex:

Between the four matches from [inaudible 00:36:31] here, which match will have the most cards? In my opinion. I think that Braga versus Rangers should have the most cartoon.

Roman:

Yeah.

Flash:

Yeah. Okay. Let’s let’s have a little look at the best bets because I did actually add, as we went along..

Flash:

First we’ll do Roman’s because he’s gone for +140, +120. He’s gone for Leipzig at over 1.5, Barcelona over and over 1.5 at +120.

Flash:

I’ve actually done a parlay of Leipzig money line, Barcelona money line at +200. Might get +210 if you shop around or wait. I’ve gone for Braga team total or at +145. Was +150. Westham and Lyon, under 2.5 goals at -120 and Alex has gone RB Leipzig money line.

Flash:

First leg of my parlay Braga Rangers over 2.5 at. +105. We think that should be -130. So that gives you value, and he’s got Westham money line at +100. So join in. We got La Liga this week. It will be Paco making a celebrity rare appearance. What he does is he waits for Roman to get the pot up and Roman’s pot is very, very healthy. So he says to [crosstalk 00:37:39].

Roman:

Always.

Flash:

He does always. He always steals your money and spends it on rubbish.

Roman:

And he’s coming two weeks in a tow now, so get ready.

Flash:

Oh, you’re going to come back completely skint. He’s going to have like 28 games. He’ll have nine selections. They’ll all be like +600.

Roman:

He’s going to go for [inaudible 00:37:53] to win five nil against Madrid or something like that.

Flash:

Exact. Wait.

Alex:

Or the type of [inaudible 00:37:58]. Why do I think that he can go [crosstalk 00:38:02].

Flash:

Why are you mentioning that? I had Villa Real against [inaudible 00:38:07] this weekend.

Alex:

[crosstalk 00:38:08] tell me about it last week every [crosstalk 00:38:10].

Flash:

Alex, we’ll see you for the Bundasliga, but just another reminder, it won’t be on the soccer channel. Go to the BetUS official and you will see the Masters, with myself, Craig Edwards and James Mazzola, and as, as of now from straight from the horse’s mouth Tiger Woods says, as of now, I’m going to play.
