(Video) MLB Championship Series Picks For 10/17: Predictions And Best Baseball Betting Odds

The BetUS MLB Prediction Team is Back with Their MLB Hot Picks

Who is Favored to Win the World Series?

The MLB playoff picture is narrowing down, with just four teams left and a 2-0 lead in one league championship series already. The Dodgers have closed the lead on the Yankees for the World Series favorites, but the Yankees are still holding strong as the favorites at +110. The Dodgers are not far behind at +125, while the Guardians are all the way up to +1400. If you have a hunch, bet your World Series prediction at BetUS. We have two great games today with one team looking to close the series out.

Guardians vs Yankees Betting Analysis

The Yankees have dominated this series with back-to-back wins by multiple runs to start the series. Carlos Rodon and Gerrit Cole have made two great starting outings for the Yankees, but tonight feels like the best chance for the Guardians.

The Guardians are back at home and have Matthew Boyd back on the mound, who has pitched excellently in the postseason, as he has yet to give up a run in two outings. Granted, he only pitched two innings in the second, but if he can give the Guardians a few scoreless innings, he will be backed by one of the best bullpens in baseball this year. If the Guardians grab an early lead in this game, I like them to keep it with good pitching and tie this series up.

Additionally, the Guardians hitters have great matchup numbers off the Yankees starter, Clarke Schmidt. Steven Kwan, the leadoff man, is 4-8 off him. Jose Ramirez is 4-9 off his, while Andres Gimenez is 5-10 off Schmidt. My MLB score prediction for this game is the Guardians jump out to an early lead and hold on for a 4-2 win.

Prediction: Guardians ML -105

Mets vs Dodgers Betting Analysis

After struggling for much of the season, Jose Quintana is suddenly one of the hottest pitchers in baseball. Over his last 45.1 innings pitched, Quintana has given up 3 earned runs. Three. That’s just insane, and he has carried it into the postseason, with a 6-inning scoreless outing against the Brewers in the Wild Card series and a 5-inning scoreless outing against the Phillies in the NLDS.

Meanwhile, Yoshinobu Yamamoto missed some time late in the season with an injury but was a great starter for the Dodgers with a 3.00 ERA this season. He struggled in his first MLB postseason outing against the Padres, giving up 5 earned runs in 3 innings, but he bounced back with 5 scoreless innings in game five, which won the Dodgers the series.

We have seen a lot of runs in this series, with game one going over with nine runs, game two going over with ten runs, and game three technically pushing at eight runs. However, this pitching matchup is maybe the best we have seen in the series, and I love this to be a low-scoring, intense game four.
