Alex Christiansen:
Happy Hump Day everybody and welcome back to another episode of the BetUS NBA Show. Monday through Friday, we are your spot for all the information, angles and best bets we’ve got to offer for the NBA slate. I’m Alex Christiansen and joining me as always, Mr. Chris Farley Bets Farley and Skee Profit.
Gentlemen, it’s been a great season. We’ve got like six, seven, eight games left at this point. I mean, Chris, I know there’s a lot going on in your life. You’re not sleeping too much. But, I mean, how are you feeling as things start to shape up here? Are we ready for the end of the season? Are you kind of slowing things down til we get to the playoffs?
Chris Farley:
I’m very ready for the end of the season. [inaudible 00:00:39] I was evaluating consistency in some of these NBA defenses this year and I think obviously we’re about to see more defense in the NBA playoffs, but it’s just so few teams have been consistent this year and it’s kind of like… You know, it’s a microcosm for how the NBA is in general.
Had a rough night last night too. I bet on the Heat before I knew Jimmy Butler was going to be out, so looking forward to getting back to it today. We got a good slate of games today, though. This is… This is a rare slate where I like quite a few plays and they seem rare because I think my boy Skee over there probably has less plays than me on one show. So, that is a different vibe on this show, but still, we’ve got some good plays for you guys today.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. I know, Skee, if I asked you if you wanted the season to end today, I think you’d say yes. The Lakers are in the play-in here, so we’re good. We’ve got post-season Lakers basketball. But, how do you treat kind of these last seven, eight games? Does your volume decrease at all? Do you kind of walk away from some of this stuff, knowing maybe it’s not a full effort here?
Skee Profit:
I would not want the season to stop today because I’m heating up right now. I’m actually starting to win some games and I don’t decrease my volume. I just play whatever games that I like. I guess lately it seems like I’ve had a little bit less plays just because it’s not as many teams that are motivated on a nightly basis and I’m just trying to pick the few that are. So, you will see only one official pick for me on the show. I don’t know how many times we’ve seen that. But, just trying to get the job done and keep us above that 500 mark. We finally made it back. I want to keep us up there.
Alex Christiansen:
Well, before we talk about NBA basketball, all of us, all three of us and Josh, one of the other guests here on the show, have participated in the BetUS March Madness contest and we thought we’d take a quick look and see how we’re doing because, well, one of the four of us is doing quite well. Josh is third in the entire contest. He’s got about a little over a $200 profit somehow with a losing record thanks to Princeton and a few other underdogs there. I’ve got little more money than I started with. Chris, you’re a little underwater. Skee, you’re underwater. We’ve got two games left here. I’m trying to think. I don’t know if there’s enough big underdogs yet for me to catch up here somehow. But, I think that’s my plan. I’m just going to take a swing, go big underdogs here.
I mean, Chris, as you look at the Final Four teams, who do you think is going to win the championship at this point?
Chris Farley:
I love the mentality of San Diego State and I love the mentality of UCONN and I think UCONN, you could easily make an argument, has been the most dominant team in the tournament. Sure, they didn’t play elite teams throughout the tournament. No team does. But, they’ve… I believe they’ve led in eight out of 10 of the halves that they’ve played and just obviously winning by a big time point disparity in most of their contests. So, UCONN is feeling themselves right now and they’re a big team. But, San Diego State kind of has that mentality too. Kind of like it that there’s… It’s maybe four teams that not a lot of people expected to be in there at the very end, so makes for good games to hopefully watch. Probably pretty hard games to handicap, though.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. Having done zero research on this, I’m pretty much 100% positive that this has to be the highest combined seeds in the Final Four. I mean, you’ve got a nine, a five, a five and a four. I mean, you’re looking at basically 23 there. That’s just kind of wacky. And, yeah, I mean, San Diego State seems like they’re playing good but Florida Atlantic’s been fantastic. I’m really excited for that game. But, it does. It seems like the Huskies might run away with it a bit. Skee, who do you think is the last team standing?
Skee Profit:
Well, it’s tough for me. Again, I’m not the biggest college guy, but from what I’ve watched, I think FAU’s luck might run out the way that they’re turning the ball over. I feel like there’s only one guard that you can really trust. I don’t know his name. His number I think is number one. But, it’s one guard you can trust to play make. Other than him, I don’t want anybody with the ball and against a San Diego State team who I feel like can play really good defense, they might have some trouble. So, I think San Diego State advances and I think UCONN is the better team. My favorite out of all the teams left is Miami, just because I enjoy the two guard combo that they have. But, probably UCONN versus San Diego State and at that point I’d probably pick UCONN.
Alex Christiansen:
Sounds about right and the good news is we only have to talk about college basketball one more time after today. We’ll touch on it Monday for the championship game. But, let’s get to the pros. That’s what we came for. Adults, grown men playing the greatest sport in the entire world. As always, we start by taking a look at our best bet record. We’re above 500. I know. If you’ve been watching the show, we’ve been promising we’d get here and damn it we did and we’re one game over 500 as of Friday. Now, four games over 500. Again, the end of the season is starting to get here and as Skee said, we’re starting to get a little bit hot here. Chris and Josh, pretty solid records here. Jay above 500. Skee and I lurking. Let’s get to work then.
We’ll start with our first game we’ve got up here. The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Indiana Pacers. To no surprise, the Bucks big favorites here, minus 11 and a half. The total sits at 237 and a half. Some huge injuries for this Pacers team that seems to be done with their quest to make the postseason. Tyrese Haliburton is out. Buddy Hield is out. Chris Duarte is out. Myles Turner is questionable. And, that leaves just about nobody on this Indiana team that really is going to be able to generate any offense, especially against a Milwaukee Bucks team that is peaking at the right time. They generally do very well against poor teams like this and the Pacers have been great all year but you take basically three four of their starting lineup out of this game. It should just be a mess.
I think the Bucks can easily lock this team up and the team total is sitting right around 112 and a half. That’s a couple points too high for me. So, give me a Pacers team total under 112 and a half here. Again, this team really kind of taking their foot off the gas and I think is going to struggle quite a bit based on who’s playing tonight. What do you think of this matchup, Chris?
Chris Farley:
Yeah. I don’t have a play in this matchup but obviously you want to look towards the Bucks probably in every conceivable way here. That being said, they did play definitely under their talent level against the Pistons in their last game and this should be a Bucks team also who… They could start to kind of cruise here, right? I mean, the Celtics blew that game last night. Only a few more games and they really do secure that number one seed and they can coast. That’s nothing that the Eastern Conference wants, by the way, is a well-rested Bucks team with how well they’ve been playing. But, that’s definitely the only way that I can look in this game.
Pacers were talking at one point in their locker room about the fact that they want to make the play-in tournament. They want to have that experience. But, now with these guys out, you got to think that might be a little less on their minds. Maybe reality is setting in a little bit here.
So, I don’t want to have anything to do with this game, mostly because the Bucks are so elite on both ends of the floor, especially the past month or two. They could totally shut down the Pacers. They could totally… I mean, they could score 150 points in this game too. So, I’m not going to touch the total. Obvious lean to the Bucks here. Line seems about right to me.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. What do you think of this game, Skee? Were you up late night thinking about this one?
Skee Profit:
Absolutely not, but my thought on this game is I kind of disagree. I think the Bucks don’t really care about this game. They have the Celtics on deck and we just saw what the Celtics looked like when they had the Bucks on deck. Right? They lost outright as a double digit favorite. So, with the Pacers at home in this situation, the Pacers have been the better rebounding team the last five games. I would grab the points with them versus laying the points with Milwaukee. So, lean Pacers.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. Again, I think you can make a case for either side here. I just think the total’s a bit too high. And, the angle for me again. Give me a Pacers team total under here. 112 and a half will be our best bet.
Let’s jump into the next game, which should be a marquee game, but who knows what to expect of this Dallas Mavericks team that did finally win a basketball game, their first time in a week. They beat Indiana the other night. They are four point underdogs in Philadelphia. The total is at 232. And, as always, the Philadelphia injury report, a lot to wonder. James Harden continues to be questionable with some soreness in his Achilles. Joel Embiid dealing with a calf injury, kept him out of the game in Denver the other night. It looks like Luka and Kyrie are good to go, though. And, Chris, you’ve got a player prop for us.
Chris Farley:
Yeah. I’m going to fade Kyrie Irving in this game. I do like the 76ers as well. But, obviously the Dallas Mavericks are not a team that… I don’t know if anyone wants to bet on them right now, but it is pretty suspicious that this line is at four where really the… I know the 76ers have lost a few games in a row now, but they’ve been consistently one of the better teams in the NBA on both offense and defense. What the Mavericks have shown us recently… I mean, they got a recent win against a bad team but before that, a few losses in a row. Just a lot of loss of fluidity on that team. Seems like there isn’t any gelling between Luka and Kyrie or just the spacing on the floor is messed up. Something’s going on.
But, I will just play against Kyrie and his points tonight. The Philadelphia 76ers have one of the better perimeter defenses in the NBA. I think they’re going to try to get back to business here too because you got the Cavs who are right behind them. I think this number three seed matters to the 76ers. It should. You should want to face the Nets instead of the Knicks. That’s probably what it’s going to be at the end of this and they also want to end their season on a strong note.
So, I think you see a lot of defense in this game. Philly back at home. Philly comfortable. Joel Embiid roaming the painted area too. Philadelphia not always as good in the paint on defense. Kyrie can certainly infiltrate the paint. But, they’re really good on the perimeter. I think they’re going to stifle this Luka-led Dallas Mavericks team and I think Kyrie, like we’ve been seeing in some recent games, he’ll score early but then he’ll look to facilitate and [inaudible 00:10:05] goes back to it being Luka’s team because at the end of the day, it is Luka’s team.
So, I think just for the way that the Mavericks are starting to play and the defense they’re facing tonight, I’ll gladly take Kyrie Irving props under 24 and a half points.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. I like kind of what you’re talking through there. Sixers, especially with De’Anthony Melton, have done a little bit better against some of those big scoring guards this year and with Luka on the floor, he’s just going to get most of the attention there. No plays for me in this one. Again, always tough for me to bet Sixers games, not only as a fan, but simply because we don’t know who’s playing until they’re standing out there on the floor. Skee, did you have any thoughts on this one?
Skee Profit:
It’s kind of tough to even think about it but Dallas… They weren’t playing any defense. They’re playing a little bit better defense lately. If I look at last five games stats, both teams defenses have been better than their offenses. Pace-wise, they’re both bottom 10 in that regard and just looking at how they’ve been trending the last two weeks, they’re a combined 10 and five to the under with their games averaging, combining to average around 229. So, that gets us under the 232 that we’re looking at for tonight and that’s the way I decided [inaudible 00:11:13] play this game.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. That makes a lot of sense. Again, expect this game to be a little bit slow, especially if Embiid is on the floor. You see those possessions come out a little bit longer. But, official play here for Chris. He’s got the Kyrie Irving under 24 and a half points. Again, Skee likes the under there.
Next game up here and this one’s fun. We all have a pick here, but one of us stands alone. The Los Angeles Lakers two and a half point favorites on the road in Chicago. The total sits at 227 and a half. And, Skee, you’re going to take the jump not only financially but also emotionally.
Skee Profit:
I guess you can call it like that. I think the Lakers should have some kind of pride in this game. I mean, the Bulls were whooping on them. Patrick Beverley was letting them know all throughout the game how stinky he thinks the Lakers are and he was letting them know before the game in interviews and saying he wants to stop the Lakers’ playoff push. So, they’ve already beaten them once. They’ve beaten the Lakers honestly the last two times they’ve played. It’s a situation where Lakers can get double revenge and road favorites in a double revenge situation dating back the past five years, they win at about a 68.2% clip.
Lakers on the money line last I saw or where I took it was minus 130 and the applied probability at that number is less than 60%. So, that tells me it’s a good bet. The Lakers are the more rested team. In my opinion, they’re the better team. They’ve been the better offensive and rebounding team the last five games. They just got to fix it on defense, which I think they can tonight. So, I like the Lakers on the money line.
Alex Christiansen:
Chris, you agree.
Chris Farley:
I do agree and you know, I understand where this line… Or, actually, I don’t understand where this line is and I think someone who’s good at numbers, good at metrics, probably has a model. I know you’re pretty good at that, Alex. You know, this line probably doesn’t make sense. Right? It at least needs to be even. I mean, Chicago is at home. They just beat the Lakers. They proved how tough they’ve been on defense really now for a few weeks in a row, really improving on that end of the floor. But, again, this does feel like an emotional revenge game for the Lakers against a team who’s not a rival, but with Patrick Beverley on the other side and Caruso on the other side, former Lakers players, I think this game is going to mean more to the Lakers even beyond the fact that they need it, of course, to stay in the playoffs, as do the Chicago Bulls.
I do like the under in this game for that reason. It’s going to be a very combative atmosphere. But, the way the Lakers played that last game too. By the way, the Lakers haven’t had another game since that game whereas the Bulls have. They played the Clippers once, so that’s an advantage to LA, LAL, as well. But, Anthony Davis taking eight shots in that game. That can’t happen. Right? It has to be more Anthony Davis centric. He’s still the best player on the court from a scoring ability perspective. I’m sure LeBron James will play. It’s Michael Jordan’s house. This game is going to matter to the Lakers and it is a revenge spot like we said.
It’s going to be a close game but Lakers money line. I feel comfortable with that. Even at plus two and a half now, I wouldn’t take the Lakers there because that’s how close I think it’s going to be. So, maybe we both… Maybe we all win, Alex.
Alex Christiansen:
Maybe we do because you guys are just taking the Lakers to win. I like the Bulls in this spot quite a bit. As I start to look at some of these numbers, yes, they’ve got LeBron James back. This Lakers team has been far and away better the last couple weeks ever since that trade deadline basically when they rebuilt the team than they have all season and it can be a little tough to handicap them given all that. But, you look at this spot. It’s a beginning of a road trip here for the Lakers. I imagine LeBron James is going to play. He’s listed as questionable here but we know he’s less than 100%. It looks like the Lakers will also be trying to reintegrate D’Angelo Russell.
And, got a chance to watch a lot of that basketball game and I think there’s a lot of what the Bulls did in that game that it’s fairly sustainable here now. I don’t expect them to shoot 54% from the field again and things like that, but three point attempts have been up for them. They shot half as many free throws as the Lakers, which is… Generally, that’s something that happens in a Bulls game. Those guys do tend to get to the line, so I think we’ll see that bounce back. The Lakers had twice as many turnovers, 18 to nine. I think that’ll balance out a little bit.
But, all in all, I have this game fairly even. On a neutral court, I’d maybe have the Lakers a one point favorite. Being here in Chicago and again thinking about the situation a little bit, I have the Bulls here probably a one, one and a half point favorite. So, I’ll take the Bulls plus two and a half here and I guess all three of us can be right. But, one of us will definitely be right. So, again, I like that. Lakers minus one, one and a half, so that’s not too sweaty at the end with that nice full point either way.
So, all of us here. Lakers for Chris and Skee. I’m going to take the Bulls. I guess we’ll see what happens. Jump in the comments. Let us know what you think of that game and let us know if you have any questions about anything else. We’ve got one more game here to come up and then we’ve got Q and A, so let us know and we’ll answer it shortly after we talk about the Minnesota Timberwolves visiting the Phoenix Suns and two of us have plays here and instead of going against Chris this time, you and I like the same thing here. The Timberwolves five point underdogs and the total is at 235. What do you think of that number, Chris?
Chris Farley:
Yeah. I think that number is way too high. Immediately when it came out at 233 and a half, I thought it was way too high. I have this in the 220s and it’s for a few reasons. I mean, Minnesota is obviously playing better defense lately. I mean, holding the Warriors to 96 points in there at the Chase Center and then even holding the Kings to, what? 115 points? That’s pretty impressive too. I know it’s still a lot of points but the Kings tend to run teams out of the building when they’re there. But, they had a lot of success on defense throughout that game in just micro situations. So, this is a Timberwolves team right now that defensively is playing with a lot of confidence and obviously against a team like the Suns in the same conference, a rival of theirs, I think they’re going to bring that same intensity and momentum and confidence into tonight’s game.
On the other end, maybe we see Kevin Durant tonight. I think that’s what we’re all expecting. But, it’s not like… Yeah. I mean, yes, I do expect Kevin Durant to be effective and efficient right away. That’s always what he does. He’s really well-prepped for these games. But, is he going to play his max minutes? Is he going to be a fluid part of the rotation right away for the Phoenix Suns? I don’t know. I mean, they haven’t had a lot of reps on that end yet. It’s obviously been Devin Booker who’s been the primary number one for them since he’s been out. He kind of has to take a backup role now or secondary role. So, that could be clunky at first. Right?
So, this game I think could really slow down because of the way Minnesota’s playing. Players like Anthony Edwards in particular really upping his defensive effort. So, yeah. And, on top of the fact that this is going to feel like a playoff game, I think. Right? Two teams who are probably going to be in the playoffs at this point. This is going to be a pretty contentious battle. So, for all those reasons, this game slows down tremendously at one point, I think, and that’s enough to take us well below 235.
Alex Christiansen:
I like the under here quite a bit as well. I think that if you look at this number and I think of what the value we’re getting here is the market [inaudible 00:18:05] adjust for Karl-Anthony Towns. I mean, you look over the past three or four years, there is no better player in the NBA for an over than Karl-Anthony Towns. What he provides offensively, what he lacks defensively, is exactly what you’re looking for as an over bettor here and as I look at these totals, his first game and then this game will just be his second time back. It looks like kind of the Towns adjustment.
But, this is a much different Minnesota Timberwolves team. We saw earlier this season when him and Gobert are together, they struggle having those two bigs on the floor. I think you have the adjustment of the team itself to focus more on Anthony Edwards, who has taken this team, slowing them down a little bit and kind of redefine kind of how they play basketball.
And, you look at the other side of the ball. For Phoenix, their pace has been way down since they’ve kind of thinned the team out to acquire Kevin Durant. We know that Chris Paul is great at controlling these games and trying to put them in that position. So, as I start to look at those shorter time periods and some of those adjustments, I had this in the low 230s. So, I’m going to go under 235 here as well. Skee, any thoughts from you on this game?
Skee Profit:
I just think the Timberwolves have been playing good basketball lately, figuring out how to play with their new lineup that they have, and Suns haven’t been playing the greatest basketball and trying to integrate a star player back into the lineup… I feel like we’ve seen this plenty of times. It’s more of a fade than a play on. I mean, you just saw the Lakers the other night with LeBron James. So, I would be more inclined to play Timberwolves plus the points than anything else.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. Makes a lot of sense. We know it can be tough working these guys back in. But, Chris and I are going to avoid the spread. Just a total for us. Both of us like the under there, 235. Again, let’s jump into the Q and A. Got a couple questions here. JG asks us what do we think about this Miami Heat game. Still waiting to see if Jimmy Butler’s going to play. He sat out last night. As it sits right now, the Knicks are four and a half point favorites at home. The total sits right around 223. Skee, how do you see this game with or without Butler?
Skee Profit:
I think he’s going to play. I think that’s why he sat out yesterday and it’s starting to become really important games for Miami here. They got teams that are behind them, I think about two games back, that can pass them up and they can still get out of the play-in tournament if they just win a couple games and Brooklyn loses or win a game and Brooklyn loses. So, I think they’re going to take this game extremely serious. They’ll be motivated versus a New York team who… Yeah, they’ve played good. They blew out the Rockets. But, that’s the Rockets. Outside of that, they haven’t been playing any defense and they’ve looked pretty subpar lately. So, in a game that’s important to both teams, but in my opinion more important to the Heat, I would grab them plus the points.
Alex Christiansen:
I’ve had a terrible read on Miami all season, but this does seem like a spot for them. If Butler is in, this is a game they should be able to control. Maybe Miami in an under type thing. It just seems to be when they dictate what’s going on, you look at low points in a close victory. So, something like that. Chris, did you have any thoughts on this one?
Chris Farley:
Only that I’m not going to bet it because I bet on Miami last night before I knew Jimmy Butler was going to be out, so I’m a little hurt by that still. But, this probably is a classic spot where you should double down on the Heat in a really desperate situation. Knicks nowhere near as desperate as Miami in the playoff standing situation. But, I will say. I mean, players like Bam Adebayo last night. I mean, he was exhausted at the end of that game at Toronto, Toronto really exerting the full defensive effort on the Heat and making everything difficult for them. Maybe that affects them tonight a little bit. But, if you have Jimmy back obviously as a motivator, what he brings to that team up and down the floor, they’re going to be at least competitive I think in this one.
I might look to take Miami early in this game, if anything, you know, because you… They’ll have the energy at that point. I’m a little afraid that that might fizzle out, especially if it looks like Jalen Brunson might be playing tonight. Right? So, he’s going to… He’s going to probably provide that well-rested energy that the Knicks have been needing and we’ve seen them kind of lapse recently without him.
Alex Christiansen:
Next up here. Aaron Rodgers asked us what do we think of Clippers-Grizzlies. This line has moved drastically in the last few minutes and if you look at the injury report, makes perfect sense. The Grizzlies, although they will have Ja Morant, it looks like Jaren Jackson Junior is doubtful tonight and I’m just… And, Desmond Bane is also doubtful tonight. So, your second and third best players here for the Grizzlies out. The Clippers just without Paul George. Looks like Norm Powell is upgraded to questionable. Again, great name for a podcast if you’re looking for one for the NBA. Upgraded to questionable, folks. It’s hard to just have a world in which that makes any sense.
What do you think about this game, Skee? Again, the line right now… It opened at four and a half. It looks like it’s headed down to a pick em here. The total right around 231.
Skee Profit:
Yeah. I didn’t have a strong opinion on this game at all. It’s probably my least favorite game of the day. You’re getting all these guys ruled out. It makes it extremely tough for me to play. So, I don’t like to come on here and tell people anything. I’m passing.
Alex Christiansen:
It’s a great game to pass. I would maybe lean towards an over, given kind of all the turnover, but no Desmond Bane. He really stretches the floor out for Memphis. The Clippers have kind of gone back to a little bit of slower pace than what they were trying to do at the beginning of the year and again, there’s nine other basketball games, so maybe try to find something else. Chris, do you maybe have something more solid for the people?
Chris Farley:
No. I just wish that I had took the Clippers a little bit earlier. I think there would have been great value on them in this spot. But, again, kind of a desperate team as we get to the end of the month here and the playoffs are looming. They’re not in a great position. But, I can’t. I can’t play on the Clippers on the road and I’m not going to support Memphis without those ancillary players out. So, I think like you guys, this is a good game to pass.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. It makes perfect sense. Javi Ramirez asks. And, again, thank you Javi. As always folks, when you ask us about a player prop, dump the number in there. What do we think about Devin Booker over 27 and a half points? I’ll let you start, Skee.
Skee Profit:
Devin Booker is a player who it probably won’t affect him too much to have those two bigs down there. So, I think he could still get it done. It’s a bottom 10 three point defense. He can get it done from beyond the arc. So, I can’t talk you off a Booker points tonight.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. Maybe like a three point over instead of the 27 and a half on points because again, Chris, you and I like the under here. But, Booker probably still gets his anyway. Right?
Chris Farley:
Maybe. But, you’re definitely getting value. Right? I mean, his line was at 32 and a half without Kevin Durant in the lineup, so you’re getting a little bit of value maybe in that sense. But, I wouldn’t trust it just because the way the Timberwolves are playing defense right now, especially on the outside. Everything is difficult for the guards that they’re facing. So, I mean, look at what they did to the Warriors. 96 points. I know the Warriors aren’t exactly functioning on all cylinders right now, but it’s still Golden State at home where not a lot of teams can stop that. They figured that out. I think they’ll probably figure out the Suns tonight too and that’s why I like the under. So, I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t go for that.
Alex Christiansen:
Makes sense here. Another question popping in. JG wants to know what we think about the total in the Detroit-Brooklyn game. He lean towards the under here. The Nets, again, 11 point favorites. Well, 10 and a half, depending on where you look. The total sitting right around 228 and a half, 229. Again, that all looked pretty good to me. Aren’t you? Wait a minute. Detroit. Detroit’s not playing Brooklyn. Houston’s playing Brooklyn. Who the hell is Detroit playing? Detroit’s playing Oklahoma City.
Chris Farley:
Brooklyn [inaudible 00:25:27].
Alex Christiansen:
So, not entirely sure which game he means. I’ll assume he means Oklahoma City. There we go. Detroit plays Oklahoma City. So, that total in the Detroit-Oklahoma City game, the Thunder nine and a half point favorites. The total sits right around 228. I’ve been eying a Pistons NBA betting pretty much all day. It seems odd but it’s a team with a couple big guys and the way they’re playing, I think they can probably keep this game close. But, as I said earlier, lots of games to bet on, so maybe not this one. What do you think, Chris?
Chris Farley:
Yeah. I think the Thunder, although they’re much better this year especially on defense, are being graded like they’re an elite team. Right? I mean, this is a pretty huge line. So, I think… I think there’s value on the Pistons but you talk about a gross game that I just want to skip over. No thanks. I’ll just… I’ll just pass on that one.
Alex Christiansen:
Yeah. What do you think here, Skee, of this Thunder-Pistons game?
Skee Profit:
Well, I was on here yesterday and the Thunder played and they were a big favorite. I feel the exact same way. I mean, what the hell are we doing here, laying this big of a number with the Thunder? They’re not that good of a team. I don’t care who they play, how bad Detroit has been. Fade the Thunder or only way to look is the opposite way if they’re laying close to double digits.
