Best NBA Bets for Suns vs Nets and Timberwolves vs Mavericks

Phoenix Suns vs Brooklyn Nets Betting Analysis

One of our BetUS hoops handicappers, Sean, has circled the Suns as one of his NBA favorites today, and he’s got some very good reasons why he would lay double digits on the road, something we try to avoid. However, a good capper knows when to break the rules, and this is one of those exceptions.

The Nets have dropped 9 of their last 10 contests and are playing on the second leg of back-to-back games tonight. Not exactly a prime spot to be facing a team like the Suns that has tweaked their roster recently by adding a big body in the paint, former Hornets center Nick Richards, who scored 21 points and grabbed 11 boards in his debut with his new team.

The Nets are not a good team to begin with, but when you factor in their litany of injuries, including Cam Thomas, Ben Simmons, and DeAngelo Russell, it’s difficult to envision them hanging and banging with the likes of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. The Nets are a walking wounded mess who just played last night and will have no gas in the tank for tonight’s affair.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks Betting Analysis

If you watched the BetUS NBA Show, you would have seen Alex making a compelling case for the T-Wolves as one of his NBA game predictions today. It’s hard to argue with his logic considering the Mavericks have lost and failed to cover in 4 of their last 5 games while battling a myriad of injuries, including Luka Doncic, Blake Lively, and Jaden Hardy, while a host of other Mavericks are considered day to day, including Klay Thompson.

Anthony Edwards is poised to have a field day with so many Mavs dealing with nagging injuries. We should also note that Minnesota’s 5th-ranked defense, allowing just 108 points per game, will be the difference in this one.

Dallas is a team that’s ailing, and it’s not doing what it does best—scoring. The Mavs have gone 3-7 over their last 10 games and are averaging only 108.7 points per game during this stretch.

It’s unlikely they will even get to triple digits tonight considering the caliber of Minnesota’s defense.

The last time these teams met was on Christmas Day when the Wolves claimed a 105-99 victory as 5-point road dogs. But now they return to Dallas, where they have been installed as 3-point road chalk. Do you think there’s a reason for that 8-point swing? Of course, Dallas is hobbled, and Minnesota is poised to take advantage.

Bet the Timberwolves as part of your NBA picks tonight!

Pick: Timberwolves -3 (-110)
