Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Betting Analysis

Our BetUS pro hoops handicappers Sean and Doug have both included the Raptors as road chalk in their NBA betting predictions today as Toronto travels to the Capital One Arena to take on the worst-in-the-league Washington Wizards.

These teams have yet to meet this season, and the Raptors are by no means a powerhouse. As a matter of fact, at 14-32, they can’t even be considered an average team. But everything in life is relative, and compared to the 6-39 Wizards, they might as well be considered an NBA title contender.

The Raptors are undeniably playing their best basketball of the season, having won and covered four straight games and 5 of their last 6, including a 113-104 victory over the Pelicans on Monday night. Meanwhile, the Wizards haven’t won a game since January 1st and have dropped 14 straight contests. Whoa, that’s a hellaciously untalented team!

While the Raptors were busy beating the Pels on Monday, the Wizards were taking another curb-stomping, this time at the hands of the Mavericks, resulting in a 130-108 blowout loss.

Look, the point spread is the ultimate equalizer, but the Raptors are gelling at the right time. They’ve got a cupcake on the road tonight, and this looks like an easy double-digit win.

Chicago Bulls vs. Boston Celtics Betting Analysis

The Celtics laying the lumber caught BetUS capper Sean’s eye tonight, and it appears as though this is a “get well” game for the Green Team after losing a game they should have won in their last effort on Monday night in a 114-112 setback to the Rockets. Sean believes atonement will be the theme and has included the Celtics as one of his NBA favorites today.

While Boston was getting beat at the buzzer by the Rockets, the Bulls were busy winning just their second game of their last nine contests in a big 129-121 upset over the Nuggets as 9 ½ point home dogs. This is a good spot to fade the Bulls and back the Celtics, as the former will still be reading their press clippings from Monday night while the latter will be bent on making up for a lackluster fourth quarter against Houston.

It has the same familiar feel as the last time these teams met on December 21st, when the Celtics were still feeling the sting of a 117-108 upset loss to the Bulls two nights earlier and then got their revenge swiftly two days later when they hammered Chicago, 123-98, on the road and easily covered as 12-point road favorites.

Let’s lay it and like it with the Boston Celtics in our NBA picks tonight.
