Notre Dame vs Penn State (1st Half) Betting Analysis
Our BetUS college football handicapper, Kyle, has been covering at a 58.6% clip, and that’s worth taking notice of as he is advising all who will listen to bet on the Golden Domers in the first half. It’s a sharp angle and one I am all too willing to follow after listening to his Notre Dame vs Penn State betting analysis.
Let’s review Notre Dame’s last seven first-half performances, beginning with the most recent:
- Notre Dame 13 – Georgia 3
- Notre Dame 17 – Indiana 3
- Notre Dame 14 – USC 14
- Notre Dame 28 – Army 7
- Notre Dame 28 – UVA 0
- Notre Dame 21 – Florida State 3
- Notre Dame 31 – Georgia 7
I could keep going, and you would have to go all the way back to their upset loss on September 7th to Northern Illinois to find a half in which they lost. This is a team that has displayed dominance in the opening two frames, and it should be noted that Penn State recently lost to Oregon in the first half, 31-24, and also lost the game by the score of 45-37.
Although I respect Penn State and realize there’s no shame in losing to the top-ranked team in the nation, I don’t believe they are as equipped to come out firing as Notre Dame in the early going.
As one of my NCAA football score predictions, I see the Irish ending the first half with a 16-10 first-half advantage over the Nittany Lions.

Ohio State vs Texas (1st Half) Betting Analysis
In his NCAAF predictions today, our resident college football handicapper Parker has decided to play an angle on this Friday night affair, and it involves the Buckeyes pouncing to an early lead. What happens after that? Who cares?! We’ve got Ohio State laying a field goal in the first half as one of our best college football bets on the board, and that’s all that matters.
There is no doubt that the Buckeyes will have their hands full with the Longhorns, but this is a matchup where experience will prevail, and Ohio State will likely follow the same formula that has led them to consecutive postseason victories over Tennessee and, most recently, against the No. 1 seeded Oregon Ducks.
