Best NFL Bets for the Super Bowl LIX
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Betting Analysis
The NFL game breakdown between the Rams and Eaglesrendered a BetUS SIC pick on the Eagles as an ever-so-slight neutral site underdog. And why not? Philadelphia absolutely punished Jayden Danielsand the Commandersin the NFC Championship game, and I remain convinced they can do it again on Super BowlSunday.
The Chiefs continued to get the benefit of the doubt throughout their AFC Championship clash with the Bills. But people are talking and pointing fingers at the league, making accusations that it’s rigged in favor of Kansas City. The NFL is not rigged, but any impropriety, real or perceived, is not good for the league. Thus, the officiating crew will be well aware to stay as neutral as possible, and I am convinced we will not see Patrick Mahomestreated like the little Baby Jesus in this one.
The Eagles have more weapons on offense than the Chiefs and have averaged 35 points per game in the postseason, more than any other team. Between Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and the steamroller himself, Saquon Barkley, there is just too much talent for a good, albeit unspectacular Kansas City defense.
The Eagles are my final NFL hot pick of the season!
Pick: Eagles +1 (-110)
H3: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Best NFL Prop Bets
I can understand why BetUS handicapper Steve Fezzik likes AJ Brownto run roughshod through, around, and over the Chiefs’ secondary and include over 72.5 receiving yards as one of his NFL game preview picks. AJ Brown has been a monster for the Eagles this year, and you could see him picking up steam in the NFC Championship game last week.
We witnessed Brown being more intensely woven into the Eagles’ game plan as the playoffs have worn on. Against the Packers, Brown had only one catch for 10 yards on three targets. The following week he had seven targets but caught just two passes for 14 yards. However, against the Commanders, they opened up the playbook and let AJ do his thing. The results showed him hauling down 6 of 8 passes for 96 yards and a trip inside the end zone.
The Chiefs don’t have anyone who can go man-to-man with Brown, so we will likely see some double coverage. But the problem with that is DeVonta Smithwill get loose and move the chains. Or what about Saquon Barkleylaying the smack down on the interior line and chewing up a middling Chiefs linebacking corps?
No, eventually they will have to pay attention to everyone, and Brown will not only get his opportunities but also make the most of them. Include Over 72.5 receiving yards for AJ Brown in your upcoming NFL games.
