Looking at a Tremendous Slate

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers Betting Analysis

The Rams go on the road after upsetting the Bills at SoFi Stadium. Hard to imagine they will play as well against the 49ers as they did against Buffalo. NFL game preview picks have the 49ers as three-point favorites.

The Niners got their act together against the Bears last week and they look like the play here. Don’t be surprised if Kyren Williams of the Rams has trouble against the SF defense. He has been a touchdown machine but the Niners on a short week can shut him down.

Pick: 49ers -3  points; Kyren Williams under rush yards

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars Betting Analysis

One of the weakest NFL games this week has the Jets at the Jaguars. Teams going nowhere fast. The Jets are somehow road favorites. Aaron Rodgers vs. Mac Jones at quarterback. A doozy of a duel.

The Jaguars are an NFL hot pick, not because they are any good but because the Jets are that bad. Take the points and go with the under in a game that is otherwise forgettable when it comes to anything other than draft position. Truth be told, there is nothing to gain by either team winning here in the long run. 🙂

Pick: Jaguars +3 points; Under 39½  points

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans Betting Analysis

Now that the Bengals have figured out how to win: getting their punt blocked and somehow keeping the football on fourth-and-27 against the Dallas Cowboys, look for them to roll over the Titans.

The number is five points with the road team giving and the Titans getting. Tennessee possibly won’t reach double figures in points. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase should have another huge game and this one has blowout written all over it.

Pick: Bengals -5 points

Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns Betting Analysis

The number is only four and that is because the Chiefs specialize in playing one-score games. One can also factor in that the Browns have already beaten the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens at home this season when looking at this NFL game breakdown.

Cleveland is 2-4 at home and has won against arguably the hardest opponents. So, that means logic would dictate the Browns not only could cover here but also win outright. It sounds so counterintuitive but taking four points and playing the Browns at +190 on the moneyline is the way to go. Kansas City’s defense is better than its offense, which shows you how great a coach Andy Reid is to pull this off.

Pick: Browns +4 points; Browns +190 on Moneyline
