Welcome to the BetUS Soccer Channel. I’m Flash, it’s Serie A Show, it’s matchday 37. 2 weeks to go and then all of the points deductions can be thrown away, Napoli can enjoy their party that’s been going on for like three weeks. We’re finally going to know who’s in the Champions League spots or not, because there could be appeals, but we are America’s favorite sportsbook, so I’d like you to subscribe and also ring the bell, which means we’ll notify you and you’ll never miss any content again. And that means Champions League. That means Europa League, both big finals and we’re going to have a win. I think I’ve had a chat with the boys. I think we’ve come up with maybe six markets per game, so there’ll be cards, method of victory, there’d be corners, anytime goal scorer, first half, bit like we did last year with the Champions League and when we absolutely crushed it. Okay. Also, if you like your odds on your props, for these last 2, 3, 4 weeks, then please type in betustv.com/odds and if you want a $50 free bet on any of them, then please type in betustv.com/50. Serie A Picks Matchday 37 | Serie A Odds, Soccer Predictions & Free Tips

Mina Rzouki:
Yeah, absolutely. So in case you didn’t hear, Juventus have now been handed a 10 point penalty. They were handed 15, it then got taken away pending another trial. Now the judgements come in and it’s decided that they will be docked 10 points. They can also appeal this, so it’s a little bit mad at the moment, because we don’t know where anyone’s going to end up at this level. Does that mean that Inter consolidated a top four position, should they win over the weekend? It remains to be seen, but one thing is that it’s going to be increasingly more difficult for Juventus to make top four, probably won’t happen. It’s just about securing European football in general this season.
Flash:
Okay. Securing, I think that Nick, you need to secure yourself a Monza shirt, because they’ve done you no harm whatsoever week in, week out since you joined us.
Nick Borrman:
I absolutely do need to get that jersey. That would be my favorite thing to be wearing. I can wear it when I come on the show, but they are eighth in the table guys. Nina said it last week, Lord knows where they’d be, if they had their current manager the whole season. They might be in a European position, who knows, but they are right… They’re playing great and I don’t want to spoil any surprises, but I think we’re going to talk about one of their games today.
Flash:
Well, it won’t be a surprise, will it, if you’re on them again this week?
Nick Borrman:
No, it won’t.
Flash:
Nobody gets off a speeding train.
Nick Borrman:
You know I will be on their side again, because, well, I’m a glutton for punishment, but in this case they keep paying me, so it’s not punishment, it’s enjoyment.
Flash:
Yeah. Okay, well we will look forward to that game. We’ve got four games for you, but first of all we’re going to have a little look at the records.
Yeah, it’s been a bit of a beast to be honest, because obviously we had the World Cup hangover, but Nick came in. Without that World Cup hangover and that 4.23 is probably all down to Monza on their own, to be honest, because it’s just been like taking, I don’t know, just like low hanging fruit.
Okay. As I say, we’ve got four games. I might even have a little surprise for you, because one of my guests might just want to add a selection as well at the end, but you don’t expect that to be on the best bets, because she, so that gives it away, has decided she wants to have another selection as well. Let’s go… There’s some massive games by the way. I wish that these were maybe 10 games ago. Inter versus Atalanta into minus 120, looks an unbelievable price, but it could also be a trap. Atalanta can’t defend, plus 315. The under over is set at 2.5, but the over 2.5, Mina, is at minus 135. Inter minus 130 to score twice. I’ve got this game Inter two, Atalanta one.
Mina Rzouki:
Yeah, you never know which way this is going to go. Right. It’s very difficult to figure out the goals, because last time they played it was a one nil victory to Inter, the time before that there were five goals with Inter again winning. In fact, if you look at over the last six games played between the two sides, Atalanta haven’t won one, so there’s been three draws and three Inter victories. Right now, we know that Inter are king when it comes to Serie A, when it comes to Italian clubs. They lifted the Coppa Italia. Obviously they missed out on the Scudetto, because Napoli overall have been the best team, but right now we’re talking about the very present, Inter for the last six weeks and right now are probably the best team in Serie A.
You saw that in the Coppa Italia victory of Fiorentina last night. You’ll probably see that again against at Atalanta. They will be able to have the likes of Onana back in goal and just be able to see them in full flow as they try to build up momentum to the Champions League final. Now against at Atalanta, it’s always… Atalanta love teams in which they can be the overwhelming force. They can be the combative side that just comes in waves, but they just simply cannot do that against Inter, because Inter are such a cunning club when it comes to cutting out their passages of play and obviously they’re a lot more efficient upfront.
For me, I don’t know whether… I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t know if I would actually go with an over and under in this. I do understand in the sense that I think both teams will score. I can see that happening, because we can see Inter meet quite a few sometimes problems that they do have a few problems at the back and they were lucky that Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia, didn’t take more of those chances and that’s where I think it’s a little bit scary, because Bastoni doesn’t always keep his eye on the man that he’s supposed to track. There’s always confusion at the back. One thing I can be sure about Inter is that they score goals. Whether or not you want to go a team total, over 1.5, again it’s minus 130. Not sure which way to go with this one in all honesty, but I think over 2.5. Or do you think this is a one nil victory for Inter? You don’t agree with me, do you?
Flash:
No, I think Inter win 2-1, because I wrote down here Inter win then rest Nick, because it’s two weeks before the Champions League final, so I think that they get the job done, Champions League all sewn up and then they can then concentrate on their achievement of getting to the final.
Nick Borrman:
I understand the reasoning and the numbers suggest that Inter should be favorites here and I have no problem with the price tag being where it is. However, I’m going to make a case for at Atalanta, because Inter do not actually have to win this match. They could draw and that will be enough for them to qualify top four. So I think that situation alone is setting up in Atalanta’s favor and I wonder how much of a, I don’t know, I guess you call it a hangover or just maybe a little bit of more tired legs after playing Wednesday night in the Coppa Italia final. They won that. They got another chance of hardware as you said, Flash, in two weeks time.
Flash:
No chance of hardware against Manchester City.
Nick Borrman:
They’re their only… Yeah, I know. Their only goal right now is the secure top four. They could do that with the draw. They could also lose this game and still take care of it next week as well. Although they, like you said Flash, they’d prefer to do it this week and be able to do whatever the heck they want next week, whether that’s placing guys halftime just to keep them game fresh or rest most people altogether, well yet to be seen, but I think there’s a lot that would have to go wrong for them not to make top four at this point. I just don’t see a lot of urgency on them. On the flip side, Atalanta actually now have been given a second wind to get top four. With Juventus falling down behind them, they could if they win this match, they have a very, very good chance to be in that top four. They would be sitting tied with Milan, of course Milan could win and get points on their own, but now they’re within two points of Inter and it changes everything on that final match day.
So this game is very, very big for at Atalanta and I think that is coupled with the fact that Inter do not have to win to secure top four, could play in our hands late in the game. Inter proved in both legs against AC Milan, they proved in the Coppa Italia final last night that they are very good at seeing a game out when they want to. They grabbed a lead in all three of those situations and they just played that thing out and I think in this situation, in this particular match, if it’s tied late, they don’t need to win. I think they would be content if it’s 75th minute, just go; all right, let’s secure our point, let’s move on. They’re not going to push for a goal at that point. I don’t think they would, they don’t need to, so I like that scenario as well. Of course if they’re in the lead, it’s going to be hard for a Atalanta to break them down because, they’ve proven very difficult in that situation. But I just think there’s a lot of value actually in Atalanta double chance in this spot and I like Atalanta to get at least a draw here and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they did come in here and snuck a win, but I think there’s too much telling me Atalanta’s going to get something out of this.
Mina Rzouki:
It’s a draw for Nick.
Flash:
No it’s not and it’s not. Inter Milan are going to win this game, because then they can rest up. Atalanta, they’ve got the mighty Monza on the last game of the season.
Nick Borrman:
That’s trouble.
Flash:
That is trouble for them. So I just see both teams scoring and over. I see Inter winning and both team scoring. I see Inter and over two and a half, in case Inter run riot and go three nil, because Atalanta can chuck the towel in by the way and if Atalanta just get into the Europa League, Thursday, Sunday, it might just suit them, because they will be one of the stronger sides and it may be their route to having a good cup run.
Mina Rzouki:
Yeah, you don’t think that at all, Inters going to be a little bit tired and this is the time for Atalanta to exploit their-
Flash:
Got a good squad, Mina aren’t they? We have mentioned that all the way through the season that the reason that probably I will go for Inter to win the league next season is because of the squad size when everyone else is struggling. Would you agree? Would you go for Inter to win the league next year?
Mina Rzouki:
No.
Flash:
Really? Who would you go for?
Nick Borrman:
Depends on the price always, but-
Mina Rzouki:
Maybe Monza.
Flash:
I knew you was going to say Monza.
Nick Borrman:
Monza. Yeah, what I saw from Inter in the second half of the season, especially late, they look good.
Mina Rzouki:
I don’t know. It should be Inter, it should be, but they’re just a crazy side, that’s already picked up, what, 11, 12 losses already? They called [inaudible 00:11:34] Inter, so it takes a lot for them to be that, so I wouldn’t take them.
Flash:
Okay. Well, it’s nice to see Foxy back in the chat. I know he had a couple of months off, Foxy. He’s been traveling around, doing a bit of work, which is always nice. Can someone tell me if there’s any prices on Inter to win the Scudetto next season, so that’s 2023/24 season, because you might just jump ahead there and get a great, great price. Let’s have a little look at the official Soccer picks, because we’re all getting involved here. Two like at Atalanta, double chance plus 100. Wow, been sucked in there, ain’t you, because Inter and over two and a half, at plus 170, brings in my 2-1, also brings in my 3-0, 4-1 and 5-2. Just want to see a good game with Inter winning.
Let’s move on to game number two. Bologna plus 240, Napoli at plus 120. Napoli were decent last week and I wonder if that’s because the opposition were above average. The draw’s at plus 235, the over two and a half goals at minus 105. Nick it’s very appealing, because I see both teams scoring, I see one of them getting two. I’m not sure I know who’s going to win the game though.
Nick Borrman:
This one’s a little tricky. Napoli, obviously we know they have nothing to play for, but it doesn’t matter. They put out a great 11 last week versus Inter and I expect them to do the same here. That’s their victory lap, they want to play, they want to continue the season. It’s not like they’re worried about injury concerns at this point, unless it’s like something devastating where it’s going to be a year to recover. So I think we see another strong Napoli line up here. Of course you could wait till later to get a better read on that, but you hit it on the nail on the head Flash. They beat Inter three to one, but Inter were somewhat rotated. They obviously were looking at the Coppa final and of course they had that red card right before halftime and that completely changed the game, so you got to take that with a grain of salt.
Flash:
They did.
Nick Borrman:
They didn’t have Lautaro Martínez in the lineup for that match, because of the Coppa, so take it with a grain of salt. However, they did look very good and that plus price on them is very attractive, but Bologna is very tough at home. They have three losses this season and including they have a win versus Inter, they have draws against Milan, Lazio, Roma, Juve, so getting a headstart on them, plus a quarter of a goal. You guys know I love my quarter of a goals. It is also intriguing to me as well, so I’m struggling a little bit on the side, but I actually lean more towards Bologna. This is a big match for them, even though it doesn’t mean anything, it’s the last home game. It’s a huge team they’re playing. It’s a great sendoff for the fans.
They’ve done very well against all the quality this year. Why not end it with one more good quality result, whether that be a draw or maybe a win and if I’m going to look at the total, I would actually go under, just simply because Bologna have been so good. All those matches I mentioned against quality all finished under the total, because it’s like they play up to that competition. They step up, they play good defense, they hold those guys to not many chances in the games. So I actually lean a little bit towards the under, but my favorite I guess would be on this one would be take Bologna plus a quarter goal. I think they can get a draw out of this game. Maybe they’ll win it.
Flash:
Yeah, but listen you could see Bologna scoring twice if Napoli are not turning up, but Napoli are always going to be a fret. I see that both teams scoring it over and that’s around plus 125, which is when you know that one team’s not exactly at it against the side who are happy to pick any meat up off the bones, then I thought that was good value, Mina.
Mina Rzouki:
I’m going to say that I have to say I agree with everything that Nick said to be honest with you.
Flash:
Oh, you would do.
Mina Rzouki:
One of the reasons why Napoli really wanted to be Inter was because it’s the only team they didn’t beat this season, so they wanted to have that, so that they could put it into one of the records in which that they’ve beaten every side in Serie A at least once and since they lost the first leg against Inter, they really wanted to make sure that on this occasion they would manage to win it. Lots of criticism coming into Inter, the way that they threw that game away. Too much rotation, obviously a red card. Bologna are this interesting side. Yes of course they haven’t gotten a lot of points. I don’t think they’ll win this one. I don’t think they have enough and they’ve got Orsolini also absent for this game, because he’s been suspended. I think that he gives a lot to them.
Thiago Motta, who is the coach of Bologna, is being eyed up by lots of teams, including Nice and of course PSG. So he’s really adamant to try to show the best that he can. So he wants to exhibit the best football right now at Bologna and what better time to do it than against Napoli, who are obviously the Scudetto winners. So this will be a time for him to really try to be a bit flashy. I just don’t think that he has the squad at the moment that can destroy Napoli. Napoli, Victor Osimhen, I don’t know if you saw, but he got very angry when he was taken off, because he really, really wants to secure and lockdown top scorer, so he has an eye for goals and he’s desperate to keep going there. There might be space for youngster Gaetano, who is from Napoli, born and bred, desperate to prove himself. So no matter how I look at this, I just think with squad rotation and being clever, I think this is a draw. So I really see this as being a draw. I don’t see Bologna losing and I don’t see Napoli winning, because it’s going to be Osimhen, but the rest don’t really care that much. So hopefully-
Flash:
Maybe 2-2. Maybe a nice Desmond. Have we heard any more about Osimhen? Because obviously I know that he was seen in Germany. I know that he’s partner is from Germany, but all the news I get is that he could be Premier League bound.
Mina Rzouki:
Well he’s always said that his dream is to go to the Premier League and for that reason I also think he might be just a little bit too expensive for how much Bayern Munich are willing to really pay. Especially with the fact that they might not win the Bundesliga this season for the first time ever. So it’s going to be interesting to see. They probably can’t afford the money that Osimhen or what Napoli want. It’ll be interesting, because obviously Manchester United are the team that probably want Osimhen the most. But again, when you could get Harry Kane-
Flash:
Need him. Why would you go for Harry Kane over Osimhen?
Mina Rzouki:
Absolutely.
Flash:
Harry Kane’s got two or three years max and you’re talking about Osimhen, who’s got six or seven and could be the difference. He could be their Haaland.
Mina Rzouki:
He’s what, a top three striker in the world right now. On top of it, young, resale value as well. He’s got the mentality of a champion, still moldable. He’s so the one I would pick, but a lot of time with these English clubs they say; oh, well he’s played in the Premier League, so let’s not take him and make… I don’t know, I guess take a risk that they think he is, but-
Flash:
There’s an… What’s the word? There’s an arrogance and there’s another word, ignorance, about these teams who think that the players that have played Premier League before are better than those that are not. And yet Osimhen is absolutely perfect for Man United. He’s more what they need than what they want. They need him.
Mina Rzouki:
But Napoli have lost Spalletti as their coach for next season. So could he be tempted to stay, if there’s another project that he could be building, but I think Spalletti was the man to bring out the best in him. So out of loyalty, he might leave as well, but also if they do bring in someone really special, he might want to stay. So I don’t know.
Flash:
I think Napoli, what are they going to get? 130, 140 million?
Mina Rzouki:
He deserves that.
Flash:
Yeah, exactly. Anyway, listen, official picks. Bologna, Napoli, big, big numbers are going to pop up here, when you look at this type of game that this is, because I’ve got both teams scoring over, which is the old Alex classic, a plus 125, very, very shocked that I was getting plus money there, because either side could score twice and we could end up with a 2-2 draw, or even maybe a 3-2. Let’s move on to obviously Nick’s favorite game. It’s Monza and I had to look twice thinking this is a misprint, because they’re plus 165 at home to Lecce. Now, obviously Lecce just sitting just outside the bottom three. I know that Cremonese and Sampdoria both gone through the trap door, but Lecce at plus 180, I just don’t see how Monza don’t win this game. Over two at minus 135, again, why would you look at it when really it’s home win, Mina. Monza are better than Lecce, Monza are more confident and now they want to build on everything they’ve done from maybe the first month and a half, two months of the season.
Mina Rzouki:
Yes, absolutely. I think it’s so strange to see them at plus 165. In fact it was plus 175 when I had noted this, because to me this was such a clear Monza win. You could just say I was a little bit inspired by the way in which they’ve been really handling their games, because they did have a blip. There was a moment and I feel like it was around the end of April, where they dipped slightly and you could tell that Monza felt like they didn’t have that much left to be playing for. But however, against Lecce for me, and at home, this has surely got to be a clear… They’ve got to be clear favorites and I don’t think they’re going to just score once. I think they’re going to score at least twice to be honest with you.
Flash:
So would you take the plus 185, on Monza scoring twice?
Mina Rzouki:
Yeah, I think I would actually. I think I would.
Flash:
Okay.
Mina Rzouki:
I probably don’t need to, because I could just go for the money line, because if I think there’s not much of a difference, so I wouldn’t complicate it.
Flash:
You could do both.
Mina Rzouki:
The problem that Lecce have really is that they don’t score goals. They’ve scored 30 in 36 matches. So it’s not even a goal a game. That’s where their problem is, that they just don’t have enough goals in them and they at least concede over a goal a game. So this is where the problems have come. So it’s interesting to see that match up between obviously who’s going to… Will it be Spezia, will it be Verona or will it be Lecce? Because we know Salernitana are safe, so they’re going to try to accrue as many points as possible, but their form has been really patchy.
Obviously they’ve been really disastrous, but managed at least a win and draw in their last two matches. But for me, the way that Monza have been going right now and the way that they’ve just collected so many points, if you look at their last six games, they’ve got four wins, two draws. I know that one of them is against Napoli, but it is the fact that right now they don’t have a confidence issue and that has a lot to do with the way that they’ve structured, how they invested in their squad. This was always where they imagined Monza would be. I know it’s a newly promoted side, but it is owned by Berlusconi and they do want to make it as big as a Milan one day. So this is a side that’s really trying to go places and Palladino is being scouted by the likes of Juventus to possibly replace Allegri. So this is the chance to show what they have. I don’t think Lecce have enough, because honestly if you’ve seen them play their football at the moment it is disastrous and Pessina is in fine form for Monza right now. So for me I think don’t complicate it, plus 165. If you get that you are golden. Against Lecce, really? I think this is an easy one.
Flash:
Nick, surely I don’t even need to ask you. It’s Monza plus 165 money line, isn’t it?
Nick Borrman:
Yeah, I guess. Well listen, I believe Monza’s going to win the game, but you know me, I’m a safety guy, I like to play it safe and I like the draw no bet line, which is pretty low-priced as well. It was as low as minus 105. I think it’s risen up a little bit, maybe minus 115, minus 120 at this point. But I do like Monza. The reason we’re seeing the line where it is, listen, if this was three weeks ago, I think Monza would be favorites here by a decent amount. I think you might be as high as plus 100, but the fact that they have nothing to play for, right in the table, versus Lecce battling relegation is why you see it. One of my favorite things to do, the last two weeks of a season, is to take the teams that must win and feed them, because their lines become so inflated and people think that; oh, just because the other team doesn’t have anything to play for, that it’s just going to be a walk in the park. But that’s not going to be the case.
Need a hit in the head. Monza are going to finish this season strong. They are not going to take their foot off the pedal now. They are in eighth place, they’re not going to better that, but why would you take what you’ve just been doing and just stop? They want to keep and keep building momentum going into next year. So I believe they’re coming out full strength. I believe they’re going to try to win this game and I believe obviously, because I keep riding them, that they’re going to do that. This is the first time, I was waiting for this to happen, of course it’s going to happen against Lecce, and like I said, I figured they’d be favorites, but this is the first time they are not an underdog, so I’m not getting a headstart on them, but I still think they’re the side to play in this match.
I’m going to say… It’s funny, I have it on my notes for Monza, there’s like two paragraphs I keep copy and pasting, and then I just update one little number and one little number. So you may have heard this before, but now over their last 12 matches, dating back to the beginning of March, one loss. They have wins versus Inter, Napoli, Fiorentina. They have a draw versus Roma. Three months now, right? Three months, almost three months now, they lead Serie A since the beginning of March with 23 points. So if that’s not telling you how good this team is playing, I don’t know what is. Their defense has been great. They’ve allowed one goal or fewer in 10 of their 12 matches, 1.13 expected goals per 90 compared to 1.54 before that run. That’s a huge defensive improvement.
Why do you want to back Lecce here? Because they need to win? I don’t care. They’ve stunk all year. I’m not going to put my money on that team. There’s just no point to do so. They sit three points clear of Verona right now and two points up of Spezia, so even a draw is okay for them, but I don’t want to get behind them. I don’t like them at all. Monza are playing great, I’m going to continue to ride them. I like Mina’s play of getting the big plus money price. I’ll go safer with the draw no bet, but Monza is the only side to play here.
Flash:
Okay. I’ve got to take you both back to school, really. Here we go. Okay, what about Lecce, plus 195 not to score.
Nick Borrman:
For sure.
Flash:
Monza plus 165, money line. Monza, plus 185 to score twice. And what about the free hit, because we all think Monza are going to win. Monza minus one at plus 340. Has this not got Monza 2-0 and you just pick up 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, about 8.8 units for a nice 2-0 Monza.
Mina Rzouki:
Here’s the thing, one thing that I will say with Lecce is that their best player is called Hjulmand, who plays in midfield. He’s basically a master all on his own. He does everything in midfield. No one else does anything else, because he’s so good. He’s the guy they rely on. He’s not available for this match. Huge loss. They’re still evaluating whether or not he can come back from injury, but I think it’s looking unlikely and for that I think it could be a 2-0 victory to Monza, because of it.
Flash:
Yeah, I wrote 2-0. I hope I’m right, because all of a sudden I’m quite liking the fact that the plus 195 on Lecce actually covers my 1-0 if Monza win, because the only one I’m going to be losing out on is basically the plus 185 of them scoring twice and it’d be a push, minus one at plus 340. Let’s have a little look at the official picks. Monza money line, plus 165. Monza, draw no bet, minus 115. Remember Monza were plus 175. Remember Monza were draw no bet, minus 105. All the money’s going towards Monza and I’ve just given you plus 195, plus 185, plus 165 and plus 340. Don’t say that we didn’t try and help out, as Lecce win 1-0.
Okay, let’s move on to one of the biggest games of the season. Why does it have to turn up in week 37, when they’ve both been underwhelming in the running, because it’s Juve at plus 130, Milan at plus 205. The under or over is set at two and a half, with the over at plus 105, looks like a really… I like the under two and a half at minus 125. But Nick, I just see there’s nothing between these two. Could be 0-0 at plus, what? What’s it going to be? Plus 550? Plus 600?
Nick Borrman:
I am good with the under here as well, Flash. Juve, talk about a disappointing or rather embarrassing result, one to four at Empoli, in a match that they needed to still somehow get in the top four, even with that point reduction. So it’s over for them. They’re not going to get up in the top four at this point. They do have hope mathematically, I guess, if they win this match, but with other teams in between them, Roma and Atalanta, they would just need so many things to go their way. However, I think they’re going to try. They’re going to do what they can against Milan and really it’s defense for them. We know that, it’s just they’re not a team that’s been scoring a lot this year.
Milan, they lucked out. They could not have been handed an easier, must win match last week after being eliminated from the Champions League, than they get Sampdoria. So they took care of business. Now they’re now in a great position to secure top four. A draw would be fine for them here. Their situation is very simple though; win and they will qualify, as they hold the tiebreaker over at Atalanta. So with this match basically the entire season for both teams, that’s why I like the under, it feels like a Champions League knockout match. It’s just; this is it. If you do not win this match, you’re in big trouble. Juventus will be out and Milan might be overtaken by a Atalanta or even Roma in that situation.
Flash:
No, no, because mate now you got to look at the bigger picture, because Milan have got Verona at home on the last game of the season. They win that with nine men. This is Milan just taking what they can, stifling Juve. I’ve got it down as being 0-0, 1-1, but I’m not going to run away from the draw at plus 250, because Milan,. Someone’s put a pin in their balloon. I don’t think Milan even need to score to get something in this game.
Nick Borrman:
Correct. Yeah, I agree. I love the under in this match. I just don’t see a lot of action either way. You’re right. Milan would be more than fine with a 1-1 result. So I’m going under, I don’t see much happening here.
Flash:
No, well you’ve got Juve in your blood, Mina, so do you feel that they could actually go here or they’re going to feel sorry for themselves, because though after what they’ve been through this season, they’ve done really well, but enough’s enough, huh?
Mina Rzouki:
It’s been a ridiculous season. I think that they came out against Empoli, they were really raring to go. I think they had looked really good in training and then they found out about the 10 point penalty in the warmup, 10 minutes before the whistle to start the match. That is going to be a body blow, when you’ve consolidated a top four position, basically, and then finding out that now you’ve been 10 points back, you are behind Roma, you are behind Milan and now your chances are very slim. Obviously it’s going to have a detrimental effect on your psychology and that is why unfortunately they got completely overtaken by an Empoli side that was just wanting to go out there and have fun and play without the pressure. So yes it was a very embarrassing performance, but I can understand it on a psychological level when you feel like everything is going against you and there could be more judgments to come, by the way. It hasn’t ended just yet.
For Milan, they won 5-1 against Sampdoria, but they have been very bad side away from home this season. Obviously there are moments in which you’ll look at the 4-0 victory over Napoli and say they can do it away from home. At other times, mostly if you look on the average how they performed away from home, their defensive side has taken a hit. The one thing I worry about Milan is that they have only two players really in midfield. We’re talking about Krunic and we’re talking about Tonali, who must be exhausted at this point. So yes against Sampdoria, they don’t need to worry about defensive abilities or capabilities and just all join in to try to take shots, as many as they can against Sampdoria. And it was a very experimental Sampdoria by the way.
Juventus is not the same team. I don’t know whether Juve have it in them to fight anymore and whether or not they’ll actually show up and put on a strong showing, but they do want to make European football, because if they are indeed banned by UEFA, then they’d rather be banned this season, having already managed the Europa League position, than be banned for this season and next season, if that makes sense, because then they just won’t make Europe leagues, so they need to make at least a top six or top seven position and I think that’s very important for them. So they are going to still fight for that, well you hope. So team wise, I think Juventus right now have perhaps more, although Vlahović may be missing, but I do see the draw as being quite tasty. Personally, I would stay away from this, because I think both teams are awful.
Flash:
Okay, the other one is that I did hear and I did read that basically Kostić might be investigated as well for impersonating a player. So again it’s like-
Mina Rzouki:
You won’t just let Kostić [inaudible 00:32:31].
Flash:
I think he doesn’t bring anything to the table. He’s the only waiter I know that comes with an empty plate. I don’t think he’s scored enough goals, he’s not assisted enough and yet he was a big money buy. I think the quicker he goes back to Germany and finds his comfort level, the Serie A was far too good for him. Champions League, far too good for him. He’s a Europa, Conference League player and maybe a top six, top seven Bundesliga player. But anyway, that’s a different story. I’ll wait for one of his family members to start chatting in the chat.
Let’s have a little look at the official picks. Draw, plus 250. You’re not budging me off that 0-0. Under 2.25, at minus 105. Nick’s happy at 0-0 as well and we’ve always got the 1-1 draw as well. Okay is it time for Q&A? So if you want to type, then off you go. But first of all I’m going to ask you to subscribe. We’ve had unbelievable support from you all in the last seven months and we’re going to go for 20,000 next season. So that’s our first stop and with the African Nations and the European Championship, we’re going to have everything in our favor and MLS coming on board as well. And if you like your odds and your props, then please type in betustv.com/odd and you want a $50 free bet, type up betustv.com/fifty. I’ll start off with a question. Mina, have you got a game that you wanted to add or a pick?
Mina Rzouki:
Yes, it’s Salernitana against Udinese. I think I’ll go Salernitana. This is the difficult one, because actually I’m thinking about this over and over again. I’m going to just say in their last 14 matches they’ve had nine draws, three wins and one loss. At home, this is a side that rarely loses to be honest with you. The one loss that they do have in all of that run was against Empoli and it was when they were away from home. This is a side I think that even against Roma, they shouldn’t have conceded that last goal, but they did, because Roma just have that ability I guess.
So I don’t know how to go through this, but I would bet on Salernitana honestly on winning this match, just because Udinese are a little bit done for at the moment. Lots of absences, really not having been shown their best. So perhaps if you can find double chance or pick’em could be one to go. I keep thinking; shall I go for pick’em or not, because I do think this is a draw. So perhaps a bet on the draw, which is over the 200 mark. That’s the best one to pick right now. I’m going to just, choose what-
Flash:
Which one am I going for? Basically, you’ve told me Salernitana pick’em.
Mina Rzouki:
I think I might [inaudible 00:35:05].
Flash:
Salernitana money line. It’s like; does this dress look good on me? Yeah, it looks great. No I don’t feel right. I’m going to have to go and change it off. So then you come with another dress and yeah that looks great as well, Mina. And then you’re like; oh no, no. I’m not so sure now. I might wear trousers. I might wear a suit. Mina, am I pick’em, money line, minus one, draw no bet?
Mina Rzouki:
What do you think?
Flash:
What am I doing?
Mina Rzouki:
[inaudible 00:35:26].Flash:
I think the pick’em is great. If you’re happy, I’m happy.
Mina Rzouki:
Okay.
Flash:
Pick’em, minus 105. Draw no bet, Salernitana. Okay, Danny Lopez says; Lazio, low-hanging fruit. It’s on the floor. It’s falling off the tree. Nick, what are they? Minus 300, against already relegated Cremonese?
Nick Borrman:
Yeah, I don’t know.
Mina Rzouki:
Yeah.
Nick Borrman:
What’s the point of betting on the match? There’s other matches to bet on. I don’t really have an opinion either way. I’m not going to touch it, so I can’t really say.
Flash:
Okay.
Mina Rzouki:
Maybe go for corners.
Flash:
We could do, could go for corners, but our corner record, since Mattie left, has been awful. But you notice that Mattie’s been giving us some corner bets, though, didn’t you? Let’s not let him get away with it.
Mina Rzouki:
[inaudible 00:36:16] already.Flash:
And he’s not here to defend himself, so let’s keep putting the boot into him. Okay, question. Here we go. We’re going to from Foxy, please if you can stick that up, that’d be great. I’ll find it easier reading in front of me. Wanted to ask about Fiorentina versus Rome game. Both have European finals to concentrate on. Do you see the over on goals. I see cards automatically with these two. They don’t like each other. I couldn’t pick a winner and I wouldn’t go for too many goals either. What’d you think Mina?
Mina Rzouki:
The only thing about this is Fiorentina’s already played this week, so they’re obviously exhausted and very sad about losing the Coppa Italia. I do think they created a lot of chance. Once again, their problem is efficiency. They don’t know how to convert those opportunities into goals. Roma, without Dybala, they’re just not that good, effectively going really scoring goals. You can see they’re just stagnant up front. Especially if you have the likes of Belotti and Tammy Abraham hasn’t looked like the player that he was. In the last six matches, between these two sides, Roma has won five of them. So if you want to bet on Fiorentina, I probably wouldn’t. I actually think this is a chance for Roma to collect something. So I’d go with the Roma money line, if I’m honest.
Nick Borrman:
Roma have the Europa final though, next week.
Flash:
Okay. I’m not hearing a word of when you two said, so tell me in the chat if either of you, if… Okay-
Mina Rzouki:
I’m saying that-
Flash:
This is all getting a bit too mad, because I can’t hear a word you are saying, but I’m hoping everyone in the chat can hear what you’re saying. So again, we left Fiorentina Roma game out. Enjoy it, if you want to get involved, but there’s other games for you to get involved. Let’s have a little look at the best bets please.
Okay, Mina’s gone for at Atalanta, double chance at plus 100. Monza money line at plus 165. Inter and over two and a half at plus 170 for myself. Bologna, Napoli, both teams scoring over at plus 125. Juve, Milan, draw at plus 250. Looking at 0-0, 1-1. Nick, Atalanta, double chance, also plus 100. Monza draw no bet, minus 115. Juve, Milan, under 2.25 at minus 105 and the added bet in the end was the blue dress, you know what I mean? Salernitana, pick’em or draw no bet at minus 105.
So Mina, I look forward to seeing you. Obviously we’re going to do Serie A next week, then we’ve got the Champions League coming up. Nick, we’re off to… Obviously we’ll see you next week, but we’ve obviously got to do our homework, because we have the US Open from LA and that is golf’s… Well it’s the third major, because we’ve had The Masters and we’ve had the PGA and now we’re off to the US open. So let’s hope we can get closer to par. Everyone’s saying they could hear you fine, Mina, so that’s-
Mina Rzouki:
Please just let me… One thing I want to say about Roma is that, and just one thing I want to say about them, is that even if they play a second string side, they always show up with the right mentality and that could really count against Fiorentina. That’s all.
Flash:
Who? Oh, Roma.
Mina Rzouki:
Mm-hmm.
Flash:
Okay. Nick, good luck on the Monza train. I think you should have pressed the button though, because with just a quick one plus 340, minus one does look like a free hit. And listen, if you like your other sports, then tune in to the NBA. So just subscribe maybe at BetUSTV, because we have the NBA finals, the Eastern Conference finals, going on at the moment. The Boston Celtics been favorite all year to actually go and win the whole thing. They were three and oh in the first three games. No team has ever come back from that and yet they won game four. They win game five tonight, then we might just be the lucky ones who see history in the making. Mina, thank you very much. Thumbs up on the way out for Nick and for Monza. From everyone at BetUS, may all your bets be winners. You take care.
