UFC Fight Night: Blachowicz vs Rakic card is packed full of quality bouts and we include them in our four-fight parlay.
The sportsbook has excellent value fights framed, including the co-main event between Ryan Spann and Ion Cutelaba.
Spann vs Cutelaba
There have been strong betting moves for Ion Cutelaba and we’re backing the 28-year-old Moldovan.
He showed his professionalism when beating Devin Clark last September and it was a good bounce back after getting knocked out by Magomed Ankalaev.
He is an entertaining fighter, and although Ryan Spann is a knockout threat, Cutelaba has more upside.
The favorite was paying -200, but he has firmed into -230 and that’s a solid betting push. It looks justified and we’re happy for him to anchor the UFC Fight Night parlay.
The 16-6-1 fighter could be set for bigger fights in the light heavyweight division if he gets past Spann, so lock him in.
Pick: Ion Cutelaba -230
Camacho vs Torres
We liked what we saw from Manuel Torres in his The Contender Series fight and he deserves his chance in the UFC.
Despite not having any experience inside the Octagon, he has a well-rounded game and we’re not convinced Frank Camacho is worthy of a main card spot.
Camacho is 22-9, but he was knocked out in 41 seconds against Justin Jaynes in 2020, which was the last time he fought.
Prior to that, he was submitted in just over two minutes against Beneil Dariush, so his recent fights have been terrible, but he’s ready to throw down.
“I don’t know too much about him,” Camacho told BJPenn.com. “I do know when I first made my debut, I was hungry and dangerous, I saw his fight on the Contender Series, and I have seen some fights outside of that. He will throw leather and will try and stop you, a lot of first-round finishes, so it will be a good one.”
Torres could be a good fighter in the making and the -130 is a fair price with UFC betting odds.
Pick: Manuel Torres -130
Patrick vs Johnson
Alan Patrick and Michael Johnson haven’t had a successful few years in the UFC, but one fighter emerges victorious on Saturday.
Johnson is a fighter who could have had plenty of success in the UFC. He is a 37-fight veteran, but he also has 17 losses on his record.
He’s a better fighter than his record suggests and the 35-year-old could get back to his best, which saw him defeat the likes of Joe Lauzon and Edson Barboza in his day.
Patrick has a more impressive record at 15-3-0, but he hasn’t fought at the same level as Johnson. His recent form hasn’t been good and we prefer to take Johnson at -150 and include him in our UFC odds.
Pick: Michael Johnson -150
Jandiroba vs Hill
Virna Jandiroba comes off a decision loss to Amanda Ribas, which was a solid effort in defeat.
She had previously knocked out Kanako Murata in the second round last year, so she has knockout power and she’s fighting a relatively mediocre Angela Hill.
Hill is 13-11 following a loss to Amanda Lemos. She hasn’t won since beating Loma Lookboonme in 2020 and has since lost four consecutive fights.
It’s not a good sign and we think Jandiroba is a much better betting selection for UFC parlays at -180.
