UFC Legend Headlines Fight Night Undercard

Five undercard Fights To Wager On

Andrei Arlovski vs. Jake Collier headlines the UFC Fight Night undercard on Saturday, which features a betting card.

Arlovski, a UFC legend, has been well-backed at the sportsbook to secure his 34th win, which is a huge achievement.

Also featuring on the undercard is Andre Fili vs. Joanderson Brito and Darren Elkins vs. Tristan Connelly, so it should be an exciting night.

Andrei Arlovski Keeps Delivering

UFC odds have  Arlovski at -150 to extend his winning streak to four.

Despite being a 43-year-old, the Belarussian continues to deliver for bettors and he could be worth a wager against Collier.

He keeps delivering the goods and he has the size advantage over Collier, who believes there is an advantage to fighting smaller.

“There are a lot of advantages for fighting smaller, so I’m used to going with guys that are ridiculously fast on the ground and sparring, but then I go with heavyweights and they hit hard, but they’re not as fast,” Collier told UFC.com.

“It’s going to be a good fight. Arlovski is a gamer, so I hopefully we put on a helluva show and we get some bonuses.”

There is a lot of respect for Arlovski and we think he can get the job done.

Fill Up on Fili

Andre Fili is one of the shortest favorites on the card at -250 as the Washington native looks to win his first fight since June 2020.

The 31-year-old lost to Bryce Mitchell by decision before a no-contest against Daniel Pineda in June.

It hasn’t been the easiest of times for the UFC betting favorite, but he has the class edge over Joanderson Brito, who is 12-3-1 but yet to win in the UFC.

Brito lost to Bill Alego by decision in his UFC debut in January and we weren’t overly impressed with the effort.

We’re not surprised to see Fili as the overwhelming favorite and he’s worth adding to selections.

Dawson to Extend Record

Grant Dawson is a classy lightweight with a 17-1-1 record and we expect him to beat Jared Gordon.

He comes off a third-round knockout win over Leonardo Santos and betting online markets have Dawson at -170, which is a fair price.

Gordon is 18-4, so he’s no slouch and he has won his last three fights, including wins over Chris Fishgold and Joe Solecki. However, this is his toughest test and we’re not sure he’ll overcome it.

Our only worry is that Dawson is fighting on short notice after Rafael Alves pulled out, but that’s a credit to his toughness and willingness to fight.

Bettors should add Dawson to UFC parlays because he’s the classier fighter in this matchup.

Size Advantage with Elkins

Darren Elkins is seeking a bounce-back victory after being knocked out by Cub Swanson in December.

The 27-10 fighter has a wealth of experience and he has the size advantage over Tristan Connelly, which could make all the difference.

Elkins has wins over the likes of Dennis Bermudez and Mirsad Bektic, and he also went the distance against future champion Alexander Volkanovski.

He’s not afraid to get dirty, and although it’s not the way he planned, he doesn’t mind mixing it up.

“I didn’t think it was gonna be like this, but it is what it is,” Elins said. “The way I fight and the style I have, it’s an entertaining style, but these grimy fights are the way that I win, so I’m not afraid to get in there and mix it up like I have been.”

Connelly is a good fighter in his own right, but Elkins is the more professional fighter and he should get the upper hand.
